    English is an evolving language, therefore if "Chips" become "Fries" well, that's life. A McDonalds qualification... hmm. I guess the important thing is that the workforce get more transferrable skills so that they have more future options.

    *Subject Change* I learned an interesting fact about the Chinese language the other day, in standard language, the Chinese for "homosexual" is actually "Sleeve Cutter." This comes from one of the Emperors who had a lot of male concubines. One day the emperor and his favourite fell asleep, it just so happened it was a council day and the emperor was expected. He woke up and realised he had overslept, as he looked down he saw his favourite was still sleeping on the emperor's long sleeve of his robe. Not wanting to disturb him, the emperor called for a pair of scissors and cut his long sleeve rather than wake his lover. Am I the only one who finds that sweet? It sure beats "Shirt Lifter" anyway.

    Why not ask the participating tribes in Africa for an apology too? They were culpable in their raids on other tribes to kidnap people for sale into bondage. Unfortunately, slavery was legal way back when. I cannot and will not apologise for the mistakes of those before me, but I will do my damndest to make sure those mistakes are not allowed to happen again.

    I'm 5' 7" but I make up for it by being greater in standing than my stature suggests. Plus I am stupidly large across the shoulder area, I swear I look like a rectangle. My ex girlfriend was 6' 1" and it never bothered her or me. In fact it actually turned me on a little. Last girlfriend was about 5' 10" too. But chances of finding a woman taller than me in China are remote, plus the ones I have met are neither interesting to talk to or attractive to look at.

    Want to make it up to him? Take him to the middle of the most open place in the school, surrounded by people. Get down on your knees and tell him it was all a cruel joke and to make it up to him, you want to please him with your mouth, because the reason you did this is because you've harboured feelings for him for so long. Then you have an idea of 1/10th of the humiliation this guy feels.
