  1. Ancel announced at Video Games Live well over a year ago that he was pushing Ubi to let him make another one. Let's hope it makes it to Wii, I'm quite interested in where the art direction will go as well.
  2. DS ones were meant to be shit as well. What's with the cartoony presentation? Looks bland and uninspiring. Not expecting much at all.
  3. Easier for the investigators to find out who are mafia though and then there's the chance that he might actually BE mafia.
  4. Happy Birthday buddy! Happy 21st!
  5. Coolness isn't in the game anymore. He broke the rules and got modkilled. Are people even reading the thread, seriously?
  6. Yeah it will take longer than we want it to but it's the industry own fault and people like Mark Rein should be strung up in the street for being part of the process. We need to start taking the Elitism out of game production and start finding out what is good gaming for everyone not just the gamers. Very few people have ever addressed that question. But don't be dispondent. As you said, the Wii has changed things very fast and I think that Nintendo almost has a bee in it's bonnet about getting everyone playing games. Do you remember the luke-warm and slightly confused reception that Wii Fit got last year? Well look at it now! Ground is being made quickly but some other people could do with getting on the train, though. At the speed of the recent past (ie from when the DS was released) then I expect the landscape of the industry to have completely changed by next gen. If devs are thinking "wtf?" now then they need to get a life raft.
  7. Demand high (not going to change) Supplly getting lower Lowering prices? Not a chance. Another factor that people have missed is that the oil companies don't make all of their money from petrol. A huge fraction of the Chemicals industry is totally supplied by oil. That demand isn't going away either.
  8. Nah it's just the print from the magazine, it looks in game to me. Really wanna hear a release date for this. They should n't have hyped everyone about it so early.
  9. Exactly. Who cares why, when you have to assume so much to understand reality as it is, especially when sharing those concepts with other perceptual beings.
  10. *waits for Volcom to rez so we can go through the usual fun*
  11. Moogle, your idea about it being a dream isn't that far off. Our conscious experience of the world is entirely a perception and all of our industries and work and science help us to understand, cultivate and enjoy the world around us. We can only experience the world through the reality in which we see it. We can only gain information about it by percieving the information given to us by the tools that we have.
  12. They have LazyBoy. Vote: Volcom
  13. Yeah, I go with System, we aren't quite there yet. To have the level of impact with the advertising that you're talking about, you would have to get to a stage where you can see everyone as a potential customer, rather than position which we have at the moment when the buying power is still in the hands of the "gamers". I want to see Kuju's casual stuff hit the Wii very soon. The 3rd parties are being super slack about doing anything casual, especially when you ignore Ubisoft's shovelware. I think that it's really sad that the industry seems scared of appealing to large audiences but I'm guessing that that's because they don't understand them. They only know the gamers... Wow, even the industry is a solitary geek. You are what you eat i guess :p
  14. Yeah Ash I agree with Daft. Either get a new shirt or properly iron that one and just tighten the tie if you can't do the top button up.

    Guys, how much was it?
  16. I would put mine up but I just put it in the Image Gallery Thread. Also, another problem... I eated it
  17. Will do Hoover man! Hadn't thought about that. T'would be great to be on the front page. Up up and away web!
  18. Alright so I got an awesome parcel from Bluey last week and it had starbits in it. It was seriously sweet (and they are very sweet actually) eating them makes me feel like a fat litttle Luma Then my flatmate started making little cakes and well, I couldn't resist. Behold, Super Mario Galaxy Cake!
  19. You also need to learn to not talk too much though. That's also part of the game.
  20. Interesting news/rumour. There's only one thing that I've been wanting for while playing GH3 and it's probably broadening the choice. My friend comes around to my house and plays it more than I do and we both agreed that the game needs some Blues and something a little more folk in there. Hell even some Jazz would be good.
  21. I was also thinking that we should make the games smaller. I have a feeling that people are losing interest mid game. If we have shorter games then it's also a lot easier on the GMs as well. As it is, it takes a LOT of work for anyone to set up a game if it has the amount of player that we are averaging atm. I would suggest a 20 player cap at the very least. Easier to balance as well.
  22. I'm ok but maybe we should only have one game on the go? That way, people would be more worried about dying. I think I also mentioned having a Mafia black-list for people who regularly play up. If people dont have the times to play or forget then they shouldn't sign up. But I'm up for Rainings idea, we need to do something to encourage people to play. Maybe we should use guns?
  23. I'll go for a general answer here to these queries (sp?). I think that you are taking the wrong angle on the whole situation. It's not a case of trying to make it work. It's more: "if it's right then it's right". You shouldn't make any great effort to seem more appealing (although being curteous and polite are just a given) nor should you be looking for any signs or whether it's "working". That will just make you feel pressured. You shouldn't be wondering how you can be right for her but if she is right for you. You can only know how you feel about her so if you aren't sure how she feels then do that modern idea of communicating. There is no shame in talking to her about how you feel. Relax and just enjoy the company. No harm in being honest, cos if you try and fake your way then down the line it will all come out in the wash.
  24. 3 people defintely, I know who one of them is for sure. P.S. Sorry that I haven't been posting but I've been mega busy (kind of killing myself in the process). I'm having trouble keeping tabs on the game right now but I'll be back on from soon enough. And just to help, I haven't been silenced.
