Calm down a bit Daz, frustrating it may be but we haven't played it yet and they have... though from the sounds of it yes, it's a multiformat site who don't spend enough time playing the Wii as the other consoles and as a result when a really AAA Wii game comes out, they are underwhelmed by certain things about it because they are too used to using a conventional controller. Maybe they had the sensitivity up to high, maybe they didn't take playtesting it seriously, maybe they were just crap at it or maybe they were right; the point is though, without playing it... we just don't know for sure, I'd like to think that after the sublime controls of Metroid Prime 3 and Resi 4 Wii that any other games would at least be half as good as this from a control perspective and if thats the case then there really isn't much to worry about. From what I've seen, the developers have put their heart and soul into developing this game from day one and I'm sure that it won't be anything less than a solid third party effort at the very worst and the next big Wii game of the moment at the very best.

I gave the Wii one a miss and will be giving this one a miss because I've had it on the 360 for ages, the extras which are mainly just dlc available fro the 360 anyway don't warrant a repurchase for me.

Ok so the HD revamp won't actually happen but I'm sure they will release Sonic 3 and Knuckles as a full arcade game, why else ommit it from the collection? Unless they will just put it in a 'Sega obscurities' collection or something, I know it isn't really that obscure but if it was going to go in a collection then I guess it's possible that we could see a collection that may consist of S&K+2 and 3, Knuckles Chaotix, Sonic CD and then a whole load of genuinely rare and obscure games such as Kolibri etc to make into an actual collection. Idk but, leaving it out of the collection obviously means that they will release it, just in a more lucrative way... maybe a Sonic and Knuckles XBLA pack is the more obvious choice, containing S&K +2 and S&K +3... either way, they are up to something... >>

Seriously, it's not really a deal-breaker Imo... it just means that Sonic 3 and Knuckles will eventually get a bigger and better XBLA release that it deserves... for all we know Sega could be planning to redo it with HD visuals etc as well as retaining the original game, either way a full XBLA release is pretty much a given and this collection as it stands is still epic.

Tbh Idm this... because it just means that they will be planning to release it as a 'bigger' arcade release with a decent ammount of achievements so Idm waiting for that.

I don't care if the game is racist or not (which it isn't though obviously) this world is too damn politically correct these days anyway, moral obligation is gonna be the last thing on my mind when I'm actually playing the game.

I admit that I don't see how they can make playing as a Space Pirate fun... as soon as Samus comes along your gonna get owned by a single super missle, sounds like one short game to me. Cynicism aside though, I'm sure theres plenty of scope to make it into a decent side-story game but atm I just don't see how but I look forward to seeing what comes of this, if anything.

After seeing both covers... it makes me wonder why they didn't just use the alternative cover and sod the crap 'default' one, it has all you need to know on the front, it's Pikmin, with new controls (so that small bit of text is necessary) simple as...

Apart from the D-pad, which is utter shit, fortunately it's not used too heavilly in most standard retail games and we now have the option of purchasing the Fightbox pads for arcade / fighting games, can't wait till those come out. ^^ As for the controls in Resi 5 demo though, everything was fine but... I just wish theywould up the sensitivity a bit, after playing Resi 4 with IR controls <3 Resi 5 feels just a bit slow. :/

10.8 GB Maybe not a huge amount but reasonable nonetheless and I have a 2GB mp3 player, reason being, I don't put every piece of music I own on it, I just delete stuff every now and then (some albums stay on there permenantly) and just add what I know I will most likely want to listen to over the next day or two. Edit - also JonSt, your screen grab reminds me that I need to get some more Vertical Horizon, any recomendations on their best albums or is it all good?

They are probably only getting that as a bonus because Australlia usually gets treated like shit when it comes to games releases, it's just the developers way of pretending that they give a damn, oh and boosting sales of course :p but damn... would love to get my hands on one of those.

Actually theres nothing wrong with Too Human... just not a lot thats right either :/ it's a flawed but fun game.

*sigh* Thats all I needed to know... the original TOS was an excellent RPG and one of the best on the GC and one of those 'must-have' titles, therefore the sequel by rights if done properly would have lived up to it, but if it's merely a 'filler' game to play inbetween the 'big' titles (which this could have been one of those must-haves) then I think I may think twice about getting it. :/

Sooo... this game is finally out in Europe in a few days (06/02/09) so a question to anyone who's allready played it... Does it really live up to the original and does it really feel like a proper sequel?

Bear because although I do like The Offspring, it's really not one of their best songs and even though I wasn't particularly bothered about All along the Watchtower I'm gonna vote for it because it's the better song. Had the Offsrping track been something like Bad Habit, Come out and Play, Hammerhead or The Kids Aren't Allright though and I would have easilly voted for them.

Meh, nothing wrong with the co-op... you can still play singally and Shiva will be a.i controlled so it's no huge issue, the guns feel fine and I'm sure playing it will feel like second nature once it's released, as for the chainsaw guy, I'm sure it's possible to get decapitated by him, if not in the demo then in the final game. The online co-op will add a lot to the game and it's something that the series has been crying out for, so you're not 'alone' anymore it doesn't matter, for a lot of Resi 4 you had to drag Ashley around with you, the only difference here is that Shiva is there for most of the game but is actually semi-useful lol. One thing I would really like to see in it though as regards to multiplayer goes, is mercenaries mode with online co-op, now that would be awesome. ^^

Hmm knowing that you like Sonic games I find it odd that you haven't played them but never mind if you really haven't then you are in for a treat as playing them both together is an amazing experience.

Eww... I just had a look at the PS3 one, the buttons look horrible Idk why they choose to do them all in grey lol not very good tbh as you may find yourself looking down and studying the pad for a good while before you 'learn' the layout, at leats on the 360 version the buttons are clearly defined. Woo! nice one Dyson : peace: I don't think the pad will dissapoint, we'll have to have as few matches on it if you're getting the game too I assume? which reminds me, I still haven't added you on Live yet I'll do that when I'm next on there lol, haven't really been playing it online much recently, just been playing random offline games in my own shrinking universe :P I even need to get a new 1 year sub :/ will get one nearer the time of the games release though. ^^

Actually on second viewing the Ken pad is Pwnsome too, so I've decided to maybe get a Ken one too >> I'm sure it'll be worth it though as my bro will most likely wanna play SFIV in offline multiplayer. Oh and Dyson, the D-pad looks pretty solid to me, I know it's a slight risk but I think in this instance it's really worth it, also the USB thing doesn't bother me because it means I can use it with my PC too.
