  1. Does your liking it make it good? No. It's all subjective, people like what they like and dislike what they don't, personally I don't believe I have listened to the aforementioned artist so Idk if I like her or not but it sounds like Dyson has at least listened to something by her and did not like what he heard, which is fair enough I think?
  2. Seriously though... how can you fall asleep when your having inked-up needles pressed into your skin? I would have thought you'd be more awake than ever in a situation like that.
  3. Happy Birthday Stefkov! ^^
  4. Well done Raining! ^^ also congrats to Caris and Nicktendo, good to hear that you're all making progress.
  5. Awesome! that's like... less than three months away.
  6. I'll be travelling up on the Friday, will arrive there late afternoon; managed to book a hotel just for the Friday night on the cheap, only managed it because it was mostly paid for in Clubcard vouchers but still it's cool as it means I'm there and ready for Saturday plus the hotel is supposedly not far from Leicester Square.
  7. That sucks Jay is it just Chilli based stuff you can't eat? if so then at least you can still eat things like Jalapeno's right? because those are different, in fact I'm sure you posted here about eating some semi-recently. Anyway at least you're getting proper help for your allergy this time, I can't believe the ineptitude of those uni doctors dismissing it as 'not serious' three times, that's really bad. :/
  8. Yeah, it was one of those 'must-have' games that was really enjoyable at the time even though it borrowed most of its elements from elsewhere.
  9. I can relate to this, I know that feeling all too well and it can suck at times. :/ *hugs Chris teh great* better? :p
  10. I didn't think that Play delivered to Portugal... Hellfire always had problems buying stuff from there if I recall correctly, anyways good to hear that you were able to order yourself a fightstick Oxigen, I bought a fightpad recently, also made by Madcatz, their peripherals seem pretty solid.
  11. Lol, that Venom outfit is effing epic Rez!
  12. But it's awesome once you get into the habit of taking pics you don't have to upload them on the same day you take them or anything, indeed I often end up taking a few pics of stuff I cooked in a week and then I just do a huge upload of them but yeah anyway, the more pics from people the better so give it a go if you feel like it. : peace:
  13. *attempts to cause a ruse*
  14. One of our cats died today :/ it's not as if it wasn't expected though, she had a cancerous tumour for the best part of a year, she had been taken to the vets pretty much every other week though for regular checkups and though she kept getting worse it was only slightly each time, the tumour even shrank right back at one point but it was still inevitable that it would come back... It's a shame but this time she didn't come back from the vet, it had got to the point where it really was kinder to let her go otherwise she would have suffered a lot in the next week or so. Anyway... we still have one cat who is healthy and I'm thankful for that, it just really sucks when you lose a beloved pet, she had a good life though and that's what counts.
  15. Glad to hear that you had a good time nightwolf are you going to Sonisphere as well? me, my bro and his friend from college are going to that just got tickets for it, gonna be awesome hopefully. ^^
  16. Earth Defence Force 2017 Well... where do I start? I picked this game up cheaply recently after hearing nothing but good things, it has been sitting on my desk for about a week and today I decide it's time to give it a 'quick go'... Just over seven hours later and I have played the game from start to finish, I wasn't sure what to make of it at first when I saw how basic the presentation was and how terrible the voiceovers are but after a few missions, I was hooked. Sure, this kind of game has been done before, the Earth vs Aliens plot is nothing new but I don't recall it ever being done with such dramatic scale or it ever being this much fun either! Whole buildings can be levelled with a single rocket, huge mutant ants and spiders can be gunned down without mercy and - if your so inclined - your annoying A.I team-mates can be disposed of if they happen to 'get in your way' all this can be done with very little thought or consequence oh and did I mention that your supply of ammo is INFINITE? Bring all these factors together and you have one game that is so strangely satisfying that you won't care about it's weaknesses because what it does, it just does so well; sure if they were to make a sequel then there are plenty of things that can be improved but as it is the game delivers entertainment on a huge level, which is what matters. 8/10 :yay:Eeeee Deeeeee Effffff! Eeeee Deeeeee Effffff!
  17. Wolfenstein 3D The original FPS just got a re-release on XBLA, is it still worth it? at a mere 400 points I would say so... What you get for that is a game split into six episodes with 9 floors - plus one bonus - within each said episodes; you move around 3D environments which while rudimentary in appearance are solid in their design. You play as the American soldier 'William B.J Blazkowicz' and basically go around blowing up Nazi's, Generals, German Shepards and a variety of bosses including Hitler inside a Mech-suit. There are keys to collect, a small set of four weapons consisting of a Knife, Pistol, Machine-gun and the Chaingun not to mention a whole load of hidden areas behind pushwall emblems to be discovered. Overall some of the level designs are pretty ambitious and some of them will have you cursing the game especially if you opt to play it on the 'I am death incarnate!' difficulty setting like I did thankfully though there as a save slot system which allows you to record your progress wherever you choose. Generally it's quite an entertaining game despite being very dated and not aging so well in the technical department but for the price it's very good and there is a decent amount of basic fun to be hard here for a minimal investment. 7/10
  18. For me, Bleeding Love was tolerable the first time I heard it on the radio but then... they played it again and again and again... etc and I've come to loathe it since :/ some songs outstay their welcome on the Radio stations, that's one of them Imo.
  19. Happy Birthday Hero-of-Time! ^^ *opens treasure chest* Da Da Da Daaaaaaaa! "You got... a year older!"
  20. ... Can I be Justin? >.> there's something I never thought I'd type...
  21. Doh! Idk why I thought it wasn't on the album, probably because I only heard it on Last F.M and it came up as 'Meddle - Little Boots EP' anyway yeah, really like that track.
  22. I quite liked some of Little Boots singles but has anyone heard the track 'Meddle' from her EP? I prefer that track to some of the stuff from her album.
  23. I have still yet to try both of those together... ---------------------------------------------------- Decided to try something different today... Toasted fried-egg Sandwiches! Yes you read that correctly, first I fried up a couple of eggs, then I whecked them between two slices of buttered bread inside the sandwich toaster. It tasted awesome. ^^
  24. Lol random sort-of coincidence, I've just had a guy come to the door asking about something building related... basically we're having our roof done atm, it's almost finished and this guy was thinking about having some work done to his roof and was admiring the work that had been done on ours. He basically just wanted to know about what the roofers were like - they are pretty decent people as it happens - do they clear-up at the end of the day - which they do - and are they reasonably priced - which they are - so anyway I answered the questions as best I could, he thanked me and seemed to go away happy enough, said he would give them a call based on the positive feedback I gave them. My good deed for the day I guess? *shrugs*
