  1. Yeah but those were just a few tracks, just for guitar, plus that was a while ago, so I'm hoping that Harmonix will have somehow managed to secure the rights to add Muse dlc in the form of at least one album, hopefully Origin of Symmetry.
  2. A quick search shows that this is what's required I believe...

Seconded, I've allready mentioned this, if Sony want this to work then they will need to keep prices realistic.
  4. ^^^ I thought that about Muse at first but it will only be one track probably :/ so I'm still gonna hold out for Muse dlc on Rock Band, I really hope Harmonix do it and don't let the dlc rights slip to Activision because if say they put Origin of Symmetry up for download on GH5 then I'd literally 'have' to get it because that would mean it then won't be on Rock Band... >.>
  5. Hehe I found this randomly amusing, purely because of the way the music was added to the video... Hedgehog Get!

    PSP Go

I was just pointing out that if say someone had like an old PSP with 50 UMD's and wanted to get a new PSP Go and have all their games in digital format then in that instance if there was no kiosk near them then posting them off would be quite a bit of hassle, that's all. I know it's not just a Sony thing but I wasn't aware of any other examples.

No they can't... the DSi shop is moreorless the whole point of the DSi, people who don't want downloadable games and some interesting extra features such as the motion cameras won't buy one, the machine is actually an awesome upgrade, it's just a shame that there isn't much out that's worth purchasing from the DSi shop atm, for me at least.
  8. Oh! actually those two tracks I have heard at least once on Last F.M. still not familiar with either of them though but I definitely recall enjoying them when they came up. *Edit* That track you posted by Glass Candy was pretty nice Paj, it's a shame that the video wasn't that great - guessing an official one doesn't exist yet - I just closed my eyes when I realised it was the same images looped and let the track 'wash over me' so to speak, an enjoyable track anyway.
  9. Oh ty, will most likely check those out soon a best of album sounds potentially promising, I really enjoy listening to Temple of the Dog and Ten by Pearl Jam so I'm thinking that Soundgarden should in theory be another good listen, if Spoonman and Black Hole Sun are anything to go by anyway - the only two tracks that I'm currently familiar with - I'll let you know how I - hopefully - get on with them once I've listened to a full album.
  10. Yeah I hate that too, personally I like to have a decent amount of variety in my music collection, I know what I like but I don't think of myself as lesser / greater than anyone else for it, that's just needless. Speaking of diversifying... I heard Spoonman by Soundgarden earlier and I liked it a lot I've been thinking of getting into them, do you have any recommendations on where is a good place to start with them Dan?
  11. Ramar - I posted this link for someone else a few pages back so I'll post it again for you in case you're thinking of getting a new fan... http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?moduleno=218079 I got one recently and it's really good, still on offer as well, £15 off its normal price until 09/06/09
  12. Out of that list, there are about four artists that I know I like... The Beatles Linkin Park Metallica Johnny Cash

well that will make sense... but what if they don't put kiosks everywhere where the machine is sold? it'll be problematic for people who want to exchange their UMD's for downloads if they aren't near one of these places that will supposedly have these Kiosks.

For existing PSP owners there i supposed to be some sort of service where you can exchange your UMD games for the downloadable ones at no extra cost, thing is though, would that not involve posting them off somewhere? which could incur postage costs and then the time it takes for them to send you redeem codes and even then what if one of the codes does not work? The whole process is frought with hypothetical problems for potential migrators, it might be good for new consumers but for people who own lots of UMD's and want to upgrade then Sony will have effectively opened up a minefield.
  15. Had a pretty good day tbh, decided to play Rock Band, started in the morning playing on the drums for an hour or so - getting better at that now - then guitar for most of the afternoon and finished up with some singing, make a setlist was fun One Step Closer , The Hand That Feeds, Go With The Flow and Spoonman. Spoonman was a pretty decent and challenging song to finish on Expert, I think I might check out some more Soundgarden too as I liked what I heard. Had a Pizza sandwich for dinner which was win, and am now watching Night of the Museum. never bothered to see it before but thought I'd give it a go seeing as it's on TV, reasonably entertaining.
  16. Nothing shocking, I was just acting *pretend shocked* at you buying one, anyway glad you're enjoying it Coolness! I'm sorry to hear that nightwolf I hope things start to look up for you soon... *hugs*
  17. What's 'Front' Magazine? *googles* ... Oh nevermind, it's one of those mags... ... ! Coolness! You bought Front Magazine?
  18. Epic Omlette Omlette made with bacon, carrot, courgette & onions, served with a side-salad, lightly peppered of course. Hehe you ain't seen nothing yet... :p Pizza Sammich! Oh yes, I went there... made with french bread and containing a whole slice of ham and pineapple pizza with a bit of chilli and pepper, it was good!

    PSP Go

*shrugs* if the device is £200 though no matter what it has built in, consumers are gonna want at least something for free when they purchase it so keeping downloads reasonably priced and throwing in a free PSP game or two would still be a good move surely?

    PSP Go

Going by the current rate of Redesigns, I don't think we will see another redesign of the DS anytime soon if at all, but with the PSP is always seems to be almost annual updates to the hardware.

    PSP Go

That's another worrying factor, how long after the launch of PSP Go! will they just opt to redesign it yet again? :/

    PSP Go

I still maintian that digital versions of PSP games should be cheaper, and the really old titles should be sold for only a few quid / one or two given away as a gesture for buying the console in the first place.
  23. Then clean it off and make the best of what's left of it, oh and don't forget to wash your hands after.

    PSP Go

Mmmm... I think if they are gonna do the digital only software thing then they should do it properly, any titles that launched alongside the first PSP should be less than £5 or maybe even give a few away, then you have games like God of War which while newer have been around for a while now so I'm thinking around £10 - £12 mark for those but any new games should be £16 - £18 max Imo because if they are cutting out UMD's then the consumer should be getting the games significantly cheaper than the retail counterparts. I was reluctant to buy any games when I owned a PSP and as a result only had like two or three which I sold in the end anyway, so personaly I would be even less inclined to pay very much at all for a digital version - even though I prefer this method for PSP games - which will inevitably be unplayable somewhere down the line unless they make all of their future handhelds fully compatible with all PSP digitally downloaded games.
  25. ^^^ Truth spoken... it can work, I got into my current place of work by handing in my CV the day after I'd just left a seaonal job, I didn't ask if they were hiring I just handed it to them, said "I'll work whatever hours, so give me a call if you have any vacancies" then left it at that, a few days or something later I got an interview and well... I'm still there 4 or 5 years on.
