I listened to Avenged Sevenfold today, their first album Sounding The Seventh Trumpet and I really quite liked it a lot more 'shouty' songs than in what I've previously heard from them but there were quiet-ish bits that build up on it which I prefer more, I think they are one of those bands that got better when they adapted their vocal style but still a very enjoyable album overall. Gonna give it another listen now...

Agreed, though everyone scores music differently I guess, whether or not those tracks that have been marked instantly as '10' remain so is yet to be seen. I should have my copy of the album by Monday and will no doubt post my thoughts on it as well. ------------------------ In other news my new MP4 player came today, took a bit of messing around to get things just right but damn... everything sounds sublime through it, very impressed indeed I tried out a bit of Kate Bush, Bjork, Radiohead and Foo Fighters on it to give it a reasonable test, will listen to a full album on it later today though. I'm feeling like a bit of Avenged Sevenfold today so that will most likely be played.

Tbf I wouldn't have if OEYWD hadn't spoke terrible untruths about it... plus I'm actually surprised at the amount of people that hadn't played any of the Prime games before until now, that's more 'Tsk-worthy' Imo... Anyways... spoilered now.

*Picks up the topic and puts it back on the rails* >.> So I've downloaded the original NES Metroid for free and it's still as tough as it always was and nice to remember how the series started as it is, the lack of a map can be really offputting.

I saw the title of this on the main forum page before clicking the Wii Discussion board and I thought... "Oh god nooooo!" Then I saw Canand had posted the topic and breathed a sigh of relief.

Woo! just completed Knuckles in Sonic 2 19th in the world on the leaderboard :awesome: I'm content with that since the top 10 is full of people who clearly 'score-whored' in the Casino Night Zone whereas I just blitzed my way through the whole game in about an hour.

Bump... Just got this today, it's improved a fair bit since World Tour but I still prefer Rock Band because GH still has a shit vocal guide and the Mic sensitvity is pretty 'off' in comparison. Still fun has been had allready played a bit of the story before grabbing a guitar & Mic and signing Plug In Baby "Iron Lungs" and "Over 9000!" achievements get!

*back on topic* >.> The lack of Metroids thing, it's not really that big an issue... in Metroid prime you have to get very far in the game before you see a Metroid in 3D for the first time - magical moment :heart - yes it's even longer before you see one in MP2 and even longer still in MP3 but it really doesn't matter because towards the end of each game you then see them more often anyway so it balances out. Plus the way in which they are implemented is always great, I love when you first see the proper Metroids in MP3 - you know the bit I'm talking about - I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't played it but, so awesome.

This is most encouraging to hear, I should be receiving it tomorrow with any luck and I can't wait! Other recent purchases... I'm loving The Beatles RockBand so far, gonna give GH5 a go in a little bit, I didn't know that it lets you use ANY combination of instruments in certain modes four guitars could be potentially epic!

There's absolutely no point or advantage to comparing Muse to Radiohead... the only similarity is that both Matt Bellamy and Thom Yorke sing in Falsetto, that's it really, in terms of quality there shouldn't be a comparison. I still love both but if we are going to compare them then Radiohead have produced more quality albums on the whole Imo so...
