  1. ... why did I think it was In The Pink? [/Random_Embarrasment] ----------------------------------------- I've allready listened to Boys For Pele before and I enjyoed it plus I just finished listening to From The Choirgirl Hotel - aka my coaster >.> - which was also rather good but still not as decent as say... Little Earthquakes.
  2. *nods* The Slip is excellent, I'm extremely glad that I decided to invest in a hard copy of it, a worthy purchase indeed, fuck... I may even give it a listen today on my way to / from work, its been a while and I remember the album to be really well produced and very enjoyable indeed.
  3. Rabbit, where'd you put the keys girl? So I finally got around to listening to Under The Pink by Tori Amos and I was pleasantly surprised by how it's such a beautifully crafted album, extremely enjoyable indeed. I may listen to some more Tori today I think.
  4. There is absolutely no reason why they shouldn't but don't quote me on that... :p
  5. Awesome as fuck thanks for the new info / scans pedro.
  6. Awesome steak Grunch kudos on the added chilli and pepper. ------------------------------------------------------------- Tonight I had an awesome meal, it consisted of a wholemeal Pitta Bread folded over with a filling inside that had bacon, sweetcorn, beans all in a tomato-ish sauce served with a side of carrot and lettuce. Pitta Pwnage It tasted awesome.
  7. Today while attempting to write up reviews I listened to Love, Angel, Music, Baby by Gwen Stefani which I enjoyed a fair bit, picked it up uber cheaply recently and it was a pretty easy listen, quite satisfying in places I've had her other album for ages but I feel that her debut is undeniably better overall for me, though... The Sweet Escape does have its moments. On my way to / from work I listened to Revolver by The Beatles and while it didn't set my soul on fire or anything there is definitely something about the way they write their songs which I find captivating, I think it's the way that they tell stories, albeit simple ones, really well and manage to set the scene nicely before then relentlessly moving onto the next track almost as soon as it had only just begun... the tracks are short in any case but mostly they seem to end just at the right moment, long enough to hold your attention and to give you something to enjoy but not long enough to become boring, anyway I liked it. :p Sitting here now listening to In The Pink by Tori Amos and I'm pretty much stunned by the quality and clarity of it all, will post more thoughts on this later / tomorrow once I've listened to it in full but so far so godly...
  8. Sure buys for me... New Super Mario Bros Wii Resident Evil : Darkside Chronicles Marumasa : The Demon Blade A Boy And His Blob Tales Of Symphonia : Dawn Of The New World Holy shit... that's actually not bad for the last few months of this year, heres hoping they all make it in time, if they do I'll be happy.
  9. I will be voting but for now I'm just saving this space but I shall vote when the time is right... -------------------------------------------- Cornflake Girl
  10. One of the best videos of all time? heh now that is funny seriously, I just checked out the video and while it's not terrible - dance routine is fine etc - it's most definitely nowhere near even being considered to be one of the best...
  11. That's some pretty sweet paintwork there dewd mad props to you good sir.
  12. He can't make me do anything because I simply won't watch it.
  13. Stick with the free flash game then, I would... I haven't played either version but then I've never really wanted to so I don't get why it's worth buying all of a sudden just because it's in 'Ayche Dee!' and on the 360... I prefer the more original live arcade experiences that were made for it, plus quality remakes of classic titles.
  14. All I can say is, Welcome To England. But you shouldn't as we're actually in Finland. If we're now going to post everything that ends with -land, this will be getting out of hand The cities we passed were a flickering wasteland
  15. Indeed Laser mouse ftw! I use... 'Tis awesome fo' sho'. :awesome:
  16. How about... Mollness Bears?
  17. Kudos on the Gerry Rafferty video GP Baker Street is a really enjoyable song, incidentally have you heard the Foo Fighters cover of it from The Colour And The Shape : Expanded Edition? it's pretty decent, they swapped out the Saxophone for some awesome sounding guitar, it adds a completely different element to the whole song I feel. They perfomed some other notable covers on that edition of the album too just that one in particular stands out for me, but all of them are well worth checking out.
  18. In the name of the Chozo Warriors! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?
  19. Upon careful study of the original image, I can confirm that Coolness has stretched it... >.> -------------------- I had no idea that there were so many decent tracks on Incorporated Jay, one of my new favourites from the album is Devil in a Blue Dress which mixes Coheed and Cambria VS Sense Fail awesome stuff.
  20. It's only 30 second previews now but ty anyway Coolness, I've decided that if I can pick the album up cheaply anywhere then I will but otherwise I 'll just buy it if / when I feel the need to, for now though I've still got plenty of music to listen to. --------------------------------------------------- Jay! guess what arrived today? *nods* yep Incorporated by The Legion of Doom I've listened to the whole thing and it's excellent, we should talk more about this on IRC if you're there later.
  21. In case anyone is unaware, you can pre-order this for £24.99 on Play, it's been that price for a while, I'm thinking it's a lower price as compensation for having ti wait so long or something but best put a pre-order in early just in-case they decide to sneakily bump the price up.
  22. Wait... series 6? this Friday? fuck yes! count me in. Thanks for the heads-up D_p.
  23. Well just so long as you do also damn you! your Pixie Lott sig is making me want her! - both in album and physical form :p - but seriously... is her album really that good because I am seriously considering getting it.
  24. I love that bit too, gave the album another listen today and Guding Light actually grew on me a bit... MK Ultra sounds better as well and Unnatural Selection just keeps getting better also I remembered the other bit that sounds referential in I Belong To You... I can’t find the words to say, But they’re overdue, It was purely the way in which Overdue was uttered as it sounded like when it was said in a previous track and indeed the track itself Overdue on their first album Showbiz, speaking of which... Coolness! have you given it a listen yet?
  25. Aww nvm Flinkeh *man-hugs!* hope that today turns out to be better for you.
