He charged at me next, and I started to run I then shot the damn fool, with a bullet from my gun

If you've played Metroid Prime less than twice then I can assure you that I envy you far more than you could ever loathe me for obtaining a week-early review copy seriously... those first couple of plays on Metroid Prime are magical, for me this is about the sixth time maybe? and while I absolutely loved every minute of this latest playthrough, the game seemed that much smaller to me than I remember it being; now obv it is still a huge game but it seems so much bigger on your first couple of play-throughs so anyway... if playing trilogy counts as one of your first play-throughs - and that goes for anyone - then seriously, enjoy it. ---------------------------------- Also, Or Else You Will Die, that ain't a Samus cosplay - though it did make me laugh - THIS is a Samus cosplay...

This basically... Yes there are such things like religious fanatics who blow up stuff 'in the name of whoever' but even if religion didn't exist, they would still most likely do it... they'd just find a different reason for it. I don't like religion because I see no point to it personally, if you believe in something then fine but if not then that's fine too, it's just down to personal choice.

Wow... Vespertine by Bjork surpassed my expectations, her vocals are as strong as ever, it's still very different to her first three albums I'd say but still very enjoyable. Pagan Poetry was particularly excellent.

Metroid Prime 100% complete! Took me 15:03 this time around which while respectable is nowhere near the time of my 100% Hard-Mode run I did a few years back which only took me less than 12 hours but nevermind, it was still as enjoyable to play as it always has been and the controls really do make it that much better, this is without question the definitive version. I may start playing Echoes tonight / tomorrow but either way I can now start the reviewing process, so expect a full review sometime over / after the weekend. For any of you who have allready ordered and are getting it tomorrow / have it allready then enjoy it because it's one damn fine trilogy.

The Beekeeper by Tori Amos Ladyhawke - self titled. ---------------------------------------- Today I'm going to give Vespertine by Bjork its first listen, I'm expecting some kind of departure from the excellence of Homogenic but it should still prove to be very enjoyable I hope.

So the load times are still pretty bad then? sure 15 seconds quicker but 30 - 45 seconds is still a pretty big load time.

Exactly... also, not this year? why not? at least it's on a Blu-Ray so they shouldn't be region locking it.

Yeah that'll be the one, they were books first and all three were labeled His Dark Materials trilogy but then after the film came along they re-branded them... originally the first book was called Northern Lights which is a much better title than Golden Compass imo, regardless though the content is - mostly - the same and they remain excellent reads to this day. Snaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake! :P

Aka His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman? if so then those are excellent reads the last books I ever bothered to read infact but yeah, the trilogy gets much better as you progress through it, very enjoyable indeed. Also, snaaaaaaaake ftw.

The boxart is pretty substandard but nevermind, I would have preferred some more original and unified artwork in the style of Metroid Prime Trilogy, now that game has some quality boxart but anyway it's not the box I'm buying it for really it's the games contained on the Blu-ray disc within but still it'd be nice if there was a sleeve over the whole thing with some nice original artwork instead.
