My day was interesting. Having a full day of drama with a hangover isn't great, but it wasn't too bad. However, the highlight of my day was being in town and talking to the preachers in the street. We were being all nice, having a goodish conversation, despite his crazy absolute beliefs. Anyway, there were also a huge group of asians talking to us and the man, and they must have been Muslim. It was really bizarre, they were so polite and talking really nice, and all of a sudden, somebody in their group must have said something out of line, as they just started a huge fight for what seemed to have been no reason. Well, within minutes there was blood and they dispersed and the police came. What struck me was just how quickly they turned from being civil to fighting in the streets. To be fair, some of the group were just trying to talk it out and hold back the others; but it was an interesting display to say the least.

Lawl, that's the Dynastygirl I know. I remember there used to be huuuuggeeee arguments on the PS forums, and not just about meat; such as, if another member referred to females as "birds" in a post etc. after awhile it was almost like a forum sport to see who could wind her up the most

Surprisingly, I haven't drunk in awhile. I agree that it's not necessary to get drunk to have fun, but my god, it sure does help. I suppose it depends where I am and the situation, but in general, I'll only get drunk at parties and whatnot, and even then, i've never been in an utter state as of yet. A night filled with scotch, absinthe and vodka shots left me waking up in the morning feeling very WTF, but i've never been violently ill or anything. I seem to have an extremely resilient body.

I always thought Dynastygal was completely off it. Of course, we never got on, due to me being a female who wasn't a feminist and I ate meat. and generally disagreed with her. I miss those huge flamewars anyway. She's not worth your time or feelings or effort or whatever you're currently giving her. She sounds to me like she has some pretty bad problems, and you're best off forgetting her and letting the other man suffer.

I find it kinda annoying how everyone is attacking him over the whole lottery thing. Derren has always said that he's not magic or psychic, and as others have said, he's about entertaining, manipulating and tricking people and showmanship. You can't deny he's good at what he does. I also think the confidence is an important part of the act, if he didn't manage to convince people then the act wouldn't work.

I'll be watching it. I quite enjoy Derren Brown, I think it's really interesting to watch. I admire him alot, it takes skill to do what he does.

My day has been interesting. According to my doctor I have an abnormally low level of folic acid which could be causing all my hand tremors. College is going well, although it's tiring getting back into routine :/

SKELETOR, I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN IT WAS YOU I used to love He-Man so much. Watching it again now, I realise how terrible and badly scripted it was. It's utterly hilarious.

I bought myself a wispa gold today for the first time. Oh lord I came everywhere. It was godly <3 I've also ordered Dissidia, I hope that comes soon, it's been awhile since i've bought anything for my psp :/

I've only ever travelled out of Europe once, when I was 5 to go to Disney World (Best. Holiday. Ever.) But i've been to a few places around Europe. I've been to Austria skiing, went to Belgium for a weekend just to go to a 40th birthday party, that was fun. We once went on a school hockey tour to Amsterdam. and it snowed so much that we played no hockey. It's the goddamn best school trip i've ever been on xD and then around the UK, Ireland, Spain and France on holidays

We only got offered latin because my school was a very traditional grammar school. and also full of crap haha We learnt German from year 7, and then in year 8 we had to choose from Spanish, French or Latin to do a second language. and then we got to drop one language in year 9, but we still had to keep one.

I feel terrible. So so terrible. I was meant to meet a friend today at 11.30, my phone ran out of battery in the night, so no alarm, which means Phoebe goes and wakes up at 12.30 I don't know his number, and nobody else seems to know his number. Argh But other people were also meeting up so he won't be left alone. I hope so anyway. I would go and meet them, but we were meeting at the train station and then going elsewhere, we were going to decide once we were all there. I am a terrible person. Oh dear.

Most of the texts we studied in class were quite tame; but our Latin teacher was an amazing man, and often gave us speeches on lesbians, because of the whole lesbia/lesbos thing, and I remember having a rather interesting conversation with him about Lesbia's "cave" that she invited young men into.

Ah, everyone always associates me with Phoebe from Friends, but i don't mind that so much; I suppose it's mostly positive!

Reading this thread had made me sad i don't know another language. and I reaallyy want to learn one now. It's also made me miss my Latin lessons. Although I failed it terribly, I did find it really interesting, albeit hard :/ Looking at the literature was good too; although I don't think i'll ever be able to get Catullus out of my head. Those romans could be romantic (and dirty) when they wanted to <3
