Well I finally got all the gold medals in Dorito's Crash Course plus nearly all of the other achievements (yep, including the Japan 4 one) just got to run through all of the Europe and Japan courses online and then I'm done.

I bow down to you good sir, for I have yet to accomplish either of those feats of endurance.

Could be good, might be balls... Only time will tell.

Ilomilo looks stunning, it seems very similar to Kula World but with greater depth, presumably co-op too? potentially very awesome indeed.

^ Shameless bump so this awesomeness doesn't get lost on the previous page. :p Will no doubt play more Crash Course later along with Harm's Way which potentially sounds pretty fun, plus a few easy achievments are always good every now and then Ironically, the Doritos game that was released a year or to ago had some of the easiest achievemants ever but the ones in Crash Course at least require a small amount of effort.

Well Dorito's Crash Course is pretty fun, kinda like a platformer based on Total Wipeout but actually not shit and starring your avatar. Just had a pretty awesome online game on it with Jay, turns out we're pretty evenly matched on it, that last USA level is a sod though lol Anyway I'd urge anyone who's downloading this free arcade game to give it a go on Live as it's great fun to play for a few minutes.

Woohoo! glad that this thread has been resurrected, thanks HoT... I was about to post the same thing about the two free XBLA games, I'm not expecting them to be good but hey, probably fun for a few mins right plus it's an extra 200 Gamerscore. Recently I've been playing Earthworm Jim HD which is just as 'grroooovy!' as it ever was, Worms 2: Armageddon which brought back a lot of good memories for me and Centipede/Milipede which is a blast in short bursts. All of those were purchased in last weeks half price offers and were well worth it Imo, it seems this weeks offers are pretty decent too I quite like it when they decide to have regular deals towards Christmas as it's a great time to catch up on all of the arcade titles that were deliberately 'missed' at the time due to price etc.

Nah... more like £50 - a pound for every year its been on the air - but seriously, I know it's a soap but, it is 'the' soap as in the longest running one so for that it deserves some sort of recognition I guess. I too watch bits of episodes when it's on and I see it in passing mostly, and I can see why many people watch it even if I don't get the whole 'appeal' of it due to the fact that I could be doing other things like playing games rather than watching soaps. But sometimes it is nice to just watch TV even if it seems rubbish, it may seem like a waste of time - and basically it is - but there's something... comforting about just sitting down and watching the lives of fictional characters and forgetting ones problems for a moment.

This is the exact place I left the game at earlier, because I like to complete each level AND get all the K-O-N-G letters before moving onto the next and then only moving onto the boss stage when the Temple is complete. Earlier I ended up amassing about twenty-odd lives on the stage before that - the one with the spiders - and then just throwing them away due to careless mistakes which really wouldn't have happened as much if I'd started out with both DK and Diddy. One I get past this point I'm sure I'll be able to make some nice progress but being 'stuck' due to a slight design oversight does annoy me somewhat, especially as for the most part everything in the game is perfectly paced and important items are precision placed.

Yes... it's also very cheap now too, I wouldn't read anything into that though but just thought I'd mention it because at price it is atm I'm surprised there are still people who have a xbox 360/PS3 who don't own it. :p

Congrats Ash! I really hope you enjoy DKCR, it really is something special indeed, what's more... I'm glad that you were able to bag a - nearly - free copy of the game as I can think of few more deserving than yourself as Editor-in-chief of N-Europe. Of course all of us here at N-E put in a lot of work for the site but recently I feel that you've done a brilliant job of stepping up and accepting the huge amount of responsibility that running this site involves. So I hope that somehow you'll find the time to play through and enjoy the game as it really is a hell of a lot of fun. ------------------------------------- Also a small side-note... was anyone else not just a little bit disappointed that the game doesn't come in a yellow box? :p

Having just finished the 'Bombs Away' level I can confirm that 100% agree with this statement and I wholeheartedly endorse it as the level in question 'be totally sick yo' and other such 'radical' phrases used to describe such genuine feelings of euphoria... Well so far I've got to the third area and all I have to say is... OMFGLOLHAXTHisGAmeISSoAWesomeTBFtbh! [/ReZ] Seriously though, I completely understand, it's like... the game is so awesome that you go to type something about how amazing it all is and that's all that comes out because you're still in awe at just how brilliant it is! I mean... I've only just played the first level of the third area and it's just so good, there's so much I want to say about it but I just can't because a) I just can't seem to find the words b) I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who's playing/gonna be playing this c) I just want to get back to playing the game... ...right now. kthxbai! *update* This game... just keeps getting better and better... also it's clearly well designed because I keep dying - frequently - and that happens is I remark to myself 'oh well...' because I know it's always my fault and not the games, so I just keep on playing... and smiling.

This game is awesome! Only had time to play the first world but oh is this game godly, I still don't know how you'd go about comparing it to the original trilogy but considering the huge gap between this and DKC3 I think Retro have done a fantastic job and couldn't really have done any better even if they were given more time, what they have achieved with this though does seem to be nothing short of stunning.

Twilight Princess, I actually enjoyed it a lot when it was first released as it has many brilliant moments, the redesign of Hyrule was stunning overall but unfortunately barren in many parts of Hyrule field which let it down somewhat. I never really felt that 'urge' to replay it though like I did with Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, many... many times over. But still for one of the GC's last titles and one of the Wii's first it was a decent game of its time, just a shame that it didn't quite live up to the massive amount of hype and I fear that Zelda : Skyward Sword may suffer the same fate, though I so want to be proved wrong.

I've just realise that it's only 3 days until this officialy comes out here... *is somewhat excited* and the fact that I ordered from Shopto coul potentially mean it arrives a day or two early *Is doubly excited* though it will probably arrive here on release day in all likelihood *calms down somewhat* or get delayed because of more unforseen snow... *returns to normal apathetic state* But still, DKCR! whooo etc!
