R.I.P Irvin Kershner...

R.I.P Leslie Nielsen... you were a living legend in life and even in death you'll never be forgotten, just remembered even more fondly both Airplane! and Naked Gun shall be your ever-lasting legacy of comedy while you'll also never be forgotten for Forbidden Planet and The Poseidon Adventure which in many ways cemented your career in films from that point onwards. So long as those films continue to be watched and enjoyed by many - which I'm sure they shall - then you'll never truly die.

Did someone say Nadesico? I love that series! one of the first anime's I actually got into years ago, ah good times... Anyway, once again Happy Birthday to Killer Kirby! hope you're having/have had an excellent day.

Idk where this would fall, I just decided to create this poster earlier as a kinda off-shoot to the 'hater's gonna hate' meme but instead having a picture of David Hayter of Metal Gear Solid fame - the voice of Snake - purely for lols. :p

Hmm so I finally got the 'Kaboom!' achievement for beating the Mourningwood fort mortar mini-game... only problem is I tried to play the game today and it doesn't get past the loading screen.... it just freezes and all I can do is turn off my Xbox 360. Naturally I Googled it and other players have had the same problem so Lionhead are most likely aware of it, so in theory I could just not play the game until it's patched and then I'd hopefully be able to carry on from where I left off right? I was toying with the idea of starting again but tbh... I don't really want to, so am I best waiting it out for the patch in the hope that will solve my problem or will I most likley still have to start again

There's nothing quite like the new region name though, it's Unova kind...

That was a pretty awesome video, props to the guy tbh... as a cyclist I look at that guy and kinda whince seeing this kind of stuff, especially after the accident I was involved in, I can't help but think how many times he must have bailed before getting as good as he is now and that takes guts, guts that I certainly don't have. I take small comfort in the fact that I will never be able to perform such amazing feats as that guy but that I'm also kinda 'safe' as I shan't be attempting anything like that, safety may seem overrated when you consider the predictability but there's a lot to be said for it if you value your health. :p Regardless though, the display of awesomeness witnessed in that video is certainly admirable.

Strip Uno... No wait, that's a 'normal' game of Uno, well if you play random people over Xbox Live... who have the vision camera... ... I've just remembered why I don't play Uno anymore.

I'm profoundly sorry for your loss Oxigen... to lose a pet is to lose a part of ones self, however even in their absence they will always occupy a place in your heart which is a small comfort but still one regardless.

Well I got Kinect over the weekend, only really had a chance to properly give it a go tonight though, at first I thought I wouldn't be able to play as the setup was telling me to step to the green squares and some were... unreachable but it seems it doesn't matter too much as the amount of space varies depending on what game you're playing. I didn't think much of Kinect Adventures, I only played that for five mins on the day I got it and that was enough for me but then, what do you expect for a game that's packaged in with the peripheral? Dance Central on the other hand is brilliant fun! I've been making a fool of myself dancing around in my room for a little bit and not really caring because I've actually enjoyed myself... which is good seeing as that's basically what Kinect is all about. Admittedly I was apprehensive at first, especially at the price point but after deciding to actually bite the bullet and buy one I'm now glad that I did, I just hope that there will be a steady flow of decent games to further justify my purchase, I'm sure there will be a lot of software available for it but I'm only really interested in the games that really seem to be doing something interesting with the hardware and for me Dance Central met that criteria and so it was the first game I purchased for it and I don't regret it one bit. Next I can see myself buying Child of Eden whenever that comes out, after that... who knows?

Sweet Mountain - Act 2 - 4th red ring... anyone know?
-
That may be it, though it's not very clear because the lift is attached to the first planet you start on so it all looks like one 'place' on the map, I will check this when I play it later, I just wish they'd made it a bit clearer.
-
Oh I know that but the point I'm getting at is that I've completed all stages in each world including the bosses and there is no 'end boss' or final stage that I can find on the map yet... Perhaps it only lets you play the final stage when you acquire certain ranks on every stage, either that or I'm completely missing something.
-
Well put it this way... I've gone to all of the planets, cleared all of the acts and all the bosses, there is then a cutscene but no real 'end' and then no credits, so unless I'm wrong you actually need to collect all 180 red rings to complete the game.
-
Looks like in order to fully complete the game you need to collect 180 red star emblems... >> I wouldn't mind but you basically have to do this it looks like to get the final boss so that you can see the credits, it's a strange setup and one that may prevent many from seeing the actual end of the game.
-
Simply stunning... But then so is nearly every song she comes up with, especially this...
-
Ah yes, forgot about that... it's still a relatively new addition in terms of Sonic games, the abundance of control scheme options is indeed welcome however I ended up going for the Wii remote + nunchuk setup for now as the remote in its own feels kinda cramped though I may try it properly with a Classic Controller at some point.
