I've spent a shit load of time crafting, brah. It's worth it, I've had some excellent weapons along the way. Do you do many secondary quests or contracts (or even treasure hunts)? I think we're at a similar part of the story, but I'm level 32. I really like how the character/skill tree thing works. I've just got that igni ability where you essentially use a flame-thrower type of effect on your enemies (until your stamina meter runs out). It's fucking awesome. I've been running around just getting into fights so I can toast some bitches.

I spent all day on this yesterday and have been playing since about 10:30. The dangerous thing with this game is that once you complete one sidequest somewhere, another one pops up. I've just been sidequesting all day and it's taken me houuuurs...in the best possible way.

We've been continuing with this and I think it just gets better and better.

@Eenuh and I were trying to get online earlier and we couldn't find any games. It also said that there were 0 people online in 0 games, which I find very hard to believe, so I'm guessing that there are more server problems. We ended up doing more league stuff, obviously kicking arse. I'm going to adopt the Roy Keane mentality of smashing the shit into the opposition to prevent them from scoring. Has worked a treat so far.

So...I saw this at the weekend. It's getting a bit sad now. There are now more bad/average Terminator films than there are good ones. The tipping point has come and gone. This is probably the worst reboot that I've ever seen for one very important reason: It's not really a reboot. You can't actually watch this film and understand its basic plot without having seen at least the first Terminator film and probably the second, too. It's even got Arnie in it which...is very confusing for newcomers because the rest of the cast is new. I have to say, it has a very fan-made feel to it in a lot of places. Particularly when:

I had a very interesting weekend. I went to see two friends of mine in Brighton who had never seen Man of Steel. No real reason either, but I don't think either really thought of Superman much as a character, as in he isn't as interesting as other super heros or vigilantes or whatevaaaah. We ended up watching it. On the world's tiniest widescreen with the tinniest sound, barely about to hear much of the dialogue so having to resort to subtitles...and they still both loved it. Particularly Cavill's portrayal as Superman, the motivation behind Zod being the way he is, the acting, the action, basically everything. We then spent the rest of Sunday just watching the comic-con trailer for this film and the reactions to it, analysis of it, etc. Needless to say, we've now vowed to meet up and watch this when it comes out. I think it looks fucking awesome. Watching Man of Steel again reminded me of just how good the action was, but also the story telling behind it. It's a great story at its heart and I hope that we get the same thing again here. There were a few uncomfortable bits watching Man of Steel again though, notably during that last battle and also when Zod initially contacted Earth through that transmission...I'd forgotten just how great that appeared. My friend did think it was quite scary...she was really into it. But also the fight scenes at the end are very reminiscent of 9/11, particularly the shots of the people on the ground level, the smoke, dust, people trapped...I found that a bit more difficult to watch this time around once I saw how my friend's reacted to it, which in turn added to the power of that scene. It's pretty terrible the more you think about it: an alien living amongst the people for so long, and then more of them turning up, essentially holding the world to ransom and destroying an iconic city in a battle where blatantly numerous people perished. I'm so glad that they're going to seemingly address this in the next film...and I'm even more excited to see how Bruce Wayne's story ties into it, particularly some of the clues that were dropped in that trailer.

I'm really interested in this now. Think Leto's Joker is going to be different, but great. Still a bit unsure as to what the film will be really about, but I like surprises.

They always get linked in with lots and lots of players. Some of the stories are true, some turn out to be false. Some of the rumours seem unbelievable at first but then end up happening (Di Maria last season, Mata, now Schweinsteiger) and some of the more believable rumours end up never happening (Sneijder coming a few years back, Vidal's saga last season). Spurs and Liverpool have brought in loads of players over the last few seasons and some have worked out and others haven't. The key when doing any bit of transfer business is assessing what the club needs and addressing that or looking who is out there to see who can strengthen the team. All the players coming in or who came in last season have improved us or will improve us - I'm 100% certain of that. Even the signings that I weren't sure about (Rojo and Blind) have proven to be good Man Utd players. I'm delighted that we have finally have various options in midfield now and what has been said to be a weak area for us could now arguably be our biggest strength...it wasn't that long ago that we were playing players like Giggs and Jones in central midfield...this is a huge, huge improvement. I don't think so. One player coming in doesn't necessarily signal the end for another at Utd, especially if they can still offer a lot to the club. Young outplayed Di Maria last season, so if anything it leads to increased competition which leads to better performance. You want competition for places. It's clear that there needs to be a better long-term solution for Carrick's position, or if he were to get injured. We had a ridiculous injury situation last season, so this now means that we have cover in a lot of crucial areas. Also...it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Carrick play a few games at centre-back. I think he could do a job there as his reading of the game is excellent. Wouldn't be the ideal first choice, because you really want players in their specialist positions, but it would be a good option to have if we don't manage to bring in a top quality centre back in to the club.

I've been in Brighton since Friday and have been following all of the transfer news briefly...can't believe Schweinsteiger is coming! (his name is a bitch to type, too!) I'm practically in love with the guy anyway and he's one of my favourite midfielders out there, it's just insane to think that he'll be playing for United next season. He'll have a fresh new challenge at United, he'll be given game time and he'll be given everything that he needs to do well here. He'll become an important player for us. Insane deal. Statement of intent, no pissing about with long summer sagas either. I like the way that we have gone about this deal and have dealt with it quickly. You're kidding right? We've had major problems in a LOT of areas for quite a few years now. Last season, we struggled with creativity, which is insane given that we have some special players at the club. This was down to three reasons: Lack of creativity in midfield (the middle) Lack of solidarity in the middle Lack of pace to get behind the attack line Looking at the players that have been signed this summer and last, I think we've made some very, very good signings. Lack of creativity in the middle: Herrera signing last season with Schweinsteiger in midfield. Lack of solidarity in the middle: Schweinsteiger doesn't like to piss about. The key signing for us is perhaps even the signing of Morgan Schneiderlin, who is having his medical at United as we speak. That is a big, big deal for us as he can help to control that midfield along with Herrera and Schweinsteiger. Not since Keane and Scholes have we had the players to be able to break down teams on the offence, but also defensively. We will have that now. I can't tell you enough how much of a problem this has been for yeeeeeears and yeeears now which Ferguson tried to address with certain signings that didn't work out. (Anderson, Hargreaves) Lack of pace: Di Maria last seasn (he will come good this season...if he stays) and Depay. We have also strengthened in the right back area and will now be able to play a right back in the proper position (Darmian). Rafael is too injury prone and Valencia is not a right back. We have finally plugged that gap with what looks like a good player. The signings of Blind and Rojo have also been good and important signings. They helped provide cover in important areas and have made good contributions to the team on numerous occasions. Blind is a good player in particular (arguably our best signing last season) as he is so versatile and actually pretty damn good in numerous positions. Therefore, I can't agree with what you've said @Dr\. bob because the signings made are actually the right signings in the right places. There's also talk of bringing in another striker and another central defender. It's going to be a very busy summer for us, but I can't find fault with the transfer business this season. Di Maria didn't do as well as he could last season, but there were a few extenuating circumstances there (his form dropped MASSIVELY after his house was part of a targeted burglary which led to him and his family feeling hugely unsettled...which I can completely understand). The only signing that I was disappointed with was Falcao, which seemed like a fantastic coup at the time but didn't work out. However, these current signings...can't fault them one bit.

Very sad news, particularly as he's had on going health problems. Must have been very difficult for him and his family. RIP.

Mate, that is the most shocking thing that I've ever read on here. Would never have guessed that you were having such a bad and difficult time from seeing your posts here, which I think says a lot for your strength of character. I've noticed others saying the same things in the posts above here, too. You've got every right to feel depressed because you've been through a lot. But the most important thing is that you're still here. Everyone here wants you to get through this and you'll get tons of support from here. Take care.

In terms of the main quest, I believe that the end is in sight.

The plot and (more specifically) the dialogue are dreadful. True, the subject matter is a bit daft, but that's no excuse for terrible script work. I enjoyed the game enough to see it through to the end, but it never lived up to its promise. It's not even B-movie quality, we're talking Z-movie. The kind they only show in the Sci-Fi channel (or whatever equivalent there is nowadays) at midnight when they're run out of other dross to show.

Never played a Just Cause game. I know absolutely nothing about it. Went into that video blind. OH MY GOD. Looks crazy.

It still shouldn't be allowed. They've got a transfer ban, so...they should be banned from transferring players into that club. Even if the player doesn't play until January, there's the January window to get that done. It's disgusting really that they're getting away with it and flaunting it for the world to see. As for Spurs' new stadium: That's a big stadium for a club of that size. With a stadium like that, you'd expect the club to have world class players and to either be winning trophies right now or be on the verge of winning things. Time will tell with that one, but it's a step in the right direction if they're serious about being more than just top four contenders. Could be a step too far.

At the moment, getting a hire car sorted for Spain. House could do with properly tidying up, but I know that there's time for that so I'm not stressing about it. Oh yeah, buying a house, urgggh. I'll get around to that when I suddenly become rich. *cries self to sleep*

I'm not sure what to think. It looks so damn good, but the fighting looked a bit arse in this. Hard to tell, could be great when you play it for yourself. Looking at Platinum's history, maybe they deserve the benefit of the doubt. -
So, I understand that Barcelona have a transfer ban, yet they've still signed up Arda Turan for January. Apparently this is ok? The fact that they also bought players last year just before the ban came into effect is just...defeating the whole purpose of the ban. This article cracked me up. Nothing at all will be done about this. What's the point in having a transfer ban if teams are allowed to so blatantly cheat the system and do it in full public view. I hate the way that Barcelona get branded as the saints of football when they are the dirtiest of all.

I've seen a few films recently. The Imitation Game I enjoyed this a lot and thought Cumberbatch was excellent throughout. Really well paced. I do like how they didn't overplay the final section, because it was a particularly bleak part of the story but I feel they got it just right. Not sure about the inclusion of Keira Knightly in this, a bit too glamorous for such a role. Otherwise, I liked this and would recommend. Oblivion Very "Moon", especially in the second and final third of the film. We put this on because we didn't know anything about it and thought it would be decent and it turned out to be slightly better than we expected. I enjoyed it, but in a Sunday afternoon because there's nothing else to watch kinda way. Jurassic World Take the original film but then take out the magic and the sense of wonder and you have a little bit of what resembles this film. It's ok, borderline shit, unspectacular and a bit dull in places. The whole final third is silly, there's no other word for it really. The type of film that will be replayed on ITV2 three times a week for the next 10 years. Super 8 You know, I quite enjoyed this! I wonder if they made the wrong choice by making it a "monster" movie. The film really should have been about the kids, because that whole first half with the kids making that film was excellent. Great dialogue in places, a bit of that coming-of-age drama that you get from The Goonies and Stand By Me, a bit of ET thrown in. It goes a bit too Cloverfield in the final 30 minutes or so, which is a bit of a shame because it's so good up until then. I enjoyed it and I think the final few minutes make up for the amount of action that takes place towards the end. It's very ET and Cloverfield in places, without really having the finesse of either. My 2015 list Big Hero 6 The Wolf of Wall Street American Psycho Gravity 3D The Lego Movie Lost in Space (lol) Batteries not included Avengers Assemble The Imitation Game Oblivion Jurassic World Super 8

I find tennis games really boring to play, especially if you're playing with a full five sets. They can take ages to get through. I always prefer the idea of playing tennis games rather than actually playing them myself. Grand Slam had an appeal for a while because of the controls, but it's still repetitive and a bit of a drag after a while.
