Intended to cancel my preorder, since I'm trying to save cash due to not getting many/any hours at work recently... however, I wasn't quick enough, plus my driving lesson was cancelled due to the snow, so that saving essentially pays for this. Ah well, free t-shirt and a £5 voucher, can't complain!

Went to see Marseille, a heavy metal band featuring Neil Buchanan from Art Attack on guitar. This man was my childhood hero, and I got to not only meet him, but sing with him on stage. It was frakking epic.

This. Unless you get incredibly lucky with advance tickets, or set off at 5am or something, it's usually in the region of £50-£100 for a return trip for northerners. Ridiculously expensive just to go to London for the day.

I don't have a problem with the name. It makes sense that it's linked to The Dark Knight anyway, since it was such a massive box office success. -
My friends are going for a rock star theme. One's dressing up as Jack White, another's Slash, so I've opted for Matt Bellamy from Muse (the red Wembley suited look). I just can't find a red blazer at all, they're like gold dust.

I'm ecstatic that this is actually going ahead, it's been plagued with legal problems for years now. Also good to see Peter Jackson back in the director's seat, where he belongs! That's not Graham McTavish, that's Simon Day. He does a lot of work with Paul Whitehouse, like the Fast Show and Bellamy's People. McTavish was in the last season of 24 as the Russian Foreign Minister.
