I'm guessing there's a pretty high likelihood of paid-for region upgrades, access Johto Pokémon for £5-10 for example.

They've really missed the boat on this one, it would have been great to get this out to show off the 3DS' capabilities five years ago.

I remember you speculating about genetic variations at the time actually, it would have been an interesting addition to the series and help make non-legendary/shiny Pokémon more unique and worthwhile catching. I still think it'd make an interesting addition now... I suppose it's possible, how many variations are possible for Vivillion and Spinda?

Does anyone have a spare Arceus or Xerneas they'd be willing to trade? I'm trying to make a living Pokédex and they're the only two I'm struggling to obtain. I've got lots of spare legendaries, let me know if there's anything in particular you're after!

Is the First Print edition going to be available elsewhere based on previous special editions? I'd rather not buy it with a t-shirt if small is the only available size.

Caught my first ever wild Shiny Pokémon last night in Pokémon Y, a shiny Geodude in a horde on Victory Road. A couple of them started using Magnitude (and had Sturdy abilities) so I was terrified of them killing my prize before I could claim it. Luckily managed to pick off the offenders in time and caught it! Crazy how I've been playing these games for about 16 years and I've only just found one in the wild!

Great to see LEGO City on the list getting a more affordable new lease of life, it's been expensive as hell/non-existent in shops for about two years now.

Has anyone been able to keep up with these? I got the album for wave 1 and a couple of packs, but they're a little expensive in-store for random cards, and I can't justify getting them from the Nintendo Store as I haven't found myself feeling that desperate to collect them!

It's just dropped to £12.85, crazy price! It also comes with two additional downloads of the game to give to friends (it's the full game right?).

So I totally forgot about Bayonetta, and I'm really looking forward to it now. The Amiibo is going to look absolutely bitchin'. Interesting that she was the #1 choice in Europe and top 5 in the US! No mention of Japan's choices though, I guess they probably went for Geno or other "unattainable" characters (can't remember the choice of phrase Sakurai used in clear reference to everyone spamming Goku). As far as promoting their own games go with Corrin, I can't help but think the development time might have been put to better use making an Inkling fighter rather than a sixth Fire Emblem representative, but hey ho.

How many playable fighters are we expecting tonight? I can't remember if there were three or five slots for the Smash Ballot.
