Again, can anyone back up these claims?
-
As I've said in the main post, can someone post proof of some of SPOnG's apparent fuck ups? I really don't think they deserve the reputation they have. Everyone seems to jump on the hating SPOnG bandwagon but nobody really seems to know why. I never see any examples to back up the claims.

I went to Leeds 2003 and it was bloody amazing. So many good memories.. Being right at the front by the barriers, dead center for the entirety of Blink and Linkin Park - bloody awesome it was. The bouncers smacking me around during the darkness. I fooled them, after going over the front, into thinking that I was just walking over to the entrance, no hassle. Then as they were all occupied I dashed for the stage, leapt up, got a hand on the stage, was trying to pull myself up until THWACK about 3 gigantic bouncers leapt on top of me. Being in the big crowd collapse during SOAD that got on the news! Stripping with a mate down to our boxers for some scary burger lady in the middle of the field in exchange for free food! Being out of my face and spending 30 quid on 3 albums of repetitive 'monk rock' from some dodgy yet persuasive hari krishna guy. This year doesn't look too bad actually if the rumours are true. Heard some good things about Razorlight live and I'd love to see KoL. As much as I love the Pumpkins, I've no idea how they're one above Nine Inch Nails on the bill.. Sunday's a little disappointing. The Chilli's are a little hit and miss for me.

I'd quite enjoy a take turns multiplayer mode like the one in Super Mario Bros 3. That was frigging awesome, me and my bro always used to play that.

And you all ignored me when I said I thought it looked like an outline! Pah!
-
I thought that was NOM/ONM whichever way around it is now.
-
Has anyone got a better scan of this? I swear the stars in the middle look like they might be the outline of something.

does it depend how far you're viewing from? I know Wii looks shit and blurry on my HD if I'm viewing it way up close (lol, it's not my eyesight). If I'm sitting back at the distance I'd watch a movie from, it looks perfectly good.

Lol, did you even hear their last album?! You don't think they evolved at all there? I agree there wasn't a whole lot of evolution from Showbiz to Absolution but there definitely has been on Black Holes. I got the chance to get tickets for this before they went on general sale but didn't bother. I absolutely love Muse, been to see them live 3 times and they are by far the best live act I've ever seen. I'm not bothered about paying the overpriced ticket fee to see them in a massive overpopulated arena though where there's a chance I'll be so far back that I can hardly see a thing. Nevermind the cost of travelling to and from London and finding somewhere to stay for the night. I'll just stick with seeing them at the smaller arenas. Like when I saw them play the Eden Project, that was amazing. Or when they played this tiny arena in Exeter. I've never really understood what the big thing is about Wembley aside from it being massive (which I see as a downside anyway). Can anyone explain?

Yeah I've been wondering this too. Only to those who have both, which is better? I can't really afford either but I must get one of them!

Yeah, there's clearly not enough focus on Locke and Desmond. I'm just waiting for another episode where they're properly together, they were a great combo at the end of season 2. I'm bored of the whole Jack, Kate, Sawyer, others thing. I was hoping that all juliette's doings this season (telling jack to kill ben etc...) were all a huge mind fuck on jack by the others. Seems like that's really probably not the case now and they all are just rifting apart. Probably should have guessed that from how Juliette spoke about Ben right at the very beginning of the season but I was always hoping...

Yeah I went to one of the crystal maze places once and it was foooking awesome! Don't know why they don't bring them back, although there was an annoying focus on shitty rollerball controls for some of the games. The show also needs to make a comeback but only if Richard O Brien will come back with it. He made the show something special. Ed Tudor Pole was a bit of a dick.

I still reckon they'll release a big update to the Wii in a couple of years. Like a Wii 2.0 with better graphics and other things. But every game that is released from then must have a downscale option so it can still be used on the old wii. Kinda like how PC games have about a million different graphics settings to support various systems. Except the only setting on the Wii would be wii original or wii 2.0.

I actually think she looks pretty cute bald and it makes her look really beautiful. Haven't even got a weird baldness fetish or anything!

Saw this last night. Wasn't too impressed with a lot of the film but then there were moments in it where I've not laughed that hard in years. I thought it was a bit lazy of them recycling some old jokes from spaced and shaun again. The first half was a bit boring and zzz aside from some stand out hilarious moments. Actually, the whole first half was like an episode of Doc Martin! Tough professional from the big city moves to the weird countryside with the quirky characters. To be honest I'd have rather watched an episode of Doc Martin for much of the first half! There's some great scenes and moments in the second half but the joke there is very drawn out and in the end you don't really care if he gets Broadbent or not. Don't think it can compare to Shaun, although that film has grown on me considerably since first seeing it. Shaun was more of a proper zombie movie with lots of funny bits and some very believable characters. This I think relied too much on odd, quirky characters for the comedy and it's the type of thing where much of the character comedy has been done before and better. It's worth going to see but I was slightly disappointed. I'll probably buy the dvd eventually but not until it hits the 3 for 20 quid deal.

I wonder if it really is only 10W. The side of mine seems pretty warm all the time.

Woo super mario world!! but it's too late for me to go out and get a new points card Thanks birdie!

*ahem* Sorry, but it has to be said. No shit Sherlock!!!

I know it's probably not all that relevant here but aren't mitchell and webb as PC and Mac, a bit shit in the new mac UK ads? Compared to the original US ads anyway. PC isn't geeky enough and Mac doesn't seem all that cool and fun at all.

I -think- they stopped that in the latest update. I remember reading that somewhere anyway.

FUCK ME THIS IS THE BEST NEWS EVAR!!!!!!.... I'm not even being sarcastic!

I do agree with that IGN guy to be honest. Though he did overlook MM which does not stick to the Zelda formula (coincidently, it's my favourite one) But definitely ALTTP, OoT, WW and TP have all stuck to the same way of doing things. However much I loved Twilight Princess and seeing what bits they've added into Zelda, nothing much really surprised me about the game in terms of structure or pacing. I also totally agree about his comments about a possible timeline to the series - there isn't one really, there was never meant to be and they just exist as single tales. Anyway I'm sure I rememember either Miyamoto or Aonuma saying TP was the last Zelda as we know it and I sure hope he was talking about this. I really hope the Wii Zelda diverts from the formula as we know it and they bring out another Zelda that rocks the boat a bit, like MM. And solizante, totally agree with you about Twilight Princess being utterly inconsistant.

Yeah, I think I've only really noticed it playing Red Steel where it's kinda constant.

Just wondering but what glitches are you talking about? And how long did you spend with the game?
