  1. Couldn't agree more. Fair enough, it is your own choice but when smokers smoke in confined spaces, non-smokers have no choice but to breathe in those fumes. And yeah, like Bowser said, the majority of smokers just let their fag ash drop if they're outside. When they're finished they'll chuck the thing on the ground and dub it out with their foot. It's disgusting and it's true that the majority of smokers do this. That's something to complain about.
  2. BBC B NES Game Gear SNES Mega Drive Gameboy Colo(u)r N64 Dreamcast PS1 PS2 Gamecube DS I think that's about it...
  3. Fair enough but I think a lot hinges on how good the tilt/movement/yadda yadda sensors work. Anyone played that arcade game with the swords? That worked in a similar way and although cool, the actual movement tracking wasn't all that great, very jerky and awkard and the game suffered because of it. Although, maybe I just played on a duff cabinet.
  4. No, he didn't say the controller wasn't the trump card. Although only a subtle difference, that's a big difference from saying head on "The controller is not our trump card." He just said there are more surprises in store. Personally, I wouldn't expect anything as major as the controller. It'll mainly be things to do with the wi fi network me thinks. Bless your exciteable cotton socks though!

    Wow

The gun and controller have already been posted. And in a recent thread too I might add. Yes, they're cool but they're fake. The controller I know at least is a mock up IGN did.
  6. Yes! Exactly. The story in MM is far, far more interesting and the whole world and it's gameplay is so varied and different from anything else. I think what puts most people off this game is the three day system. Granted, it can take a little time getting but once you fully start to understand it - GAMEPLAY-O-RAMA-HEAVEN! Ocarina is still a great game but the sequel, in my opinion was and is far better.
  7. The guy turns it off at the end. True, pressing the off button on the revo controller probably wouldn't turn the actual tv off but you're reading way too much into it.
  8. Yeah, I'm one of those people who'd get pissed off at you :p And no, I don't smoke tobacco... I had a girlfriend who used to smoke constantly and my god, kissing her was like licking the bottom of an ashtray.
  9. ...Kick it.
  10. They did say similar technology was around and being used today, just that it had never really been implemented for gaming.
  11. Does this even need to be asked? Obviously Resi 4 rules supreme although Code Veronica does hold a place in my heart for just how freaked out it got me at times. I stood for ages in that long corridor outside that freak's mansion place just not wanting to go in for fear of it. Yeah... *ahem*
  12. *laughs himself silly* Are Gizmondo not dead yet or they just very stupid? I mean, nice try and all but it just aint gonna happen.
  13. I think he was mainly referring to non-gaming press and I would totally agree with that.
  14. Sorry, come off it surely! People at gamespot, hardcore gamers? No offense, but my experience from the gamespot forums has led me to believe the majority there are idiots who insist on typing in text/l337 speak all the time. Gamers who found gaming with playstation and claim to be hardcore because they remember the PS1. But yeah, as other people have said, surely the people who aren't hardcore would find the controller MORE appealing than the rest?
  15. Controversial comment warning... Majora's Mask > Ocarina of Time.
  16. The white cube-a-like controller is very woo. Why haven't they released a white one before? Mmmm, delicious white gaming devices in my belly.
  17. Yeah I did that, ended up swinging my remote around like a sword. Slipped out of my fingers, smashed into the wall and the batteries went BOOF. Bugger.
  18. There is no b33r left in my fridge.
  19. *cough* *points in the direction of this post on ukresistance* http://www.ukresistance.co.uk/2005/09/your-revolution-joke-kit.html I think they mock you.
  20. Same here, I think I'd love a white one now with white controller. It looks so delicious! The first thing I would do is give it a lick.
  21. Ahh cool, thanks. Do you reckon you'd change the domain at all?
  22. What're you gonna do when the inevitable happens and Nintendo announces the real name of the revolution? Will the site change again? EDIT - took the boldness away, it was ugly.
  23. I looked around and haven't seen anyone post this yet but I've seen people cry out for the stream of the conference. You can get it here at gamespot http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/09/15/news_6133335.html but if you've got a basic membership (which is free) you can also download it. It's not the entire conference but it'll have everything you wanted to see. It just hasn't got all that yaddering at the start about how well ds and nintendogs and blah has done. Just listen out for the japanese translator trying to keep up with Kojima when he gives comment on the revo, it's hilarious. EDIT - typo
  24. I think I will have a nintendo things burning sesh if they don't show us anything! Starters is that DS VIP Tee that would almost be wearable if it didn't have the big VIP letters on the back. Grah. Thanks for exact times though whoever it was. Also does anyone know the server and channel name for the revo-europe IRC? I keep trying to use the one on the site but it doesn't seem to be working for me. Thanks.
  25. Thank GOD this place is back before the announcement was.. errr... announced. I thought I was going to have to sit hear with nobody around to rejoice/bitch/gasm/piss over whatever is going to be told to us tonight. Can someone just clear up for definite when the GMT time of when Iwata's speech starts? Some people seem to say 3am, some say 2am. I'm pretty sure I worked it out as being 2am GMT. Can someone clarify who knows for definite?
