It's quite good offline if you can find a few mates who are regularly gonna be around and are willing to play it with you. Playing solo though can get real boring especially when there's no incentive to level up and take your character online. Nobody goes online anymore, at least on the cube.

Yeah, I'm also waiting for Mario Kart. I can't really afford another game just now but I'd consider Kirby over Sonic at the moment. Sonic games were great, I just find them a bit dated and slightly boring now-a-days. They all seem very similar - press right, jump occassionly, fall down a bottomless pit, retry, press right, jump occassionally, skip the bit you fecked up on earlier, crash into a baddie that you couldn't possibly have avoided - repeat. That said, i'll prolly pick it up eventually.

Ahh jeez that was pretty disappointing. I was hoping the consolevania guys would turn out something special with VideoGaiden but it's really lost all the magic that made CV so great. Ah well, at least for me, it might mean that the videogames show i'm making for BBCi Hull might get more attention now.

I definitely read a quote from someone high up at Nintendo that I saw on some respectable website that basically said no, four controllers at one time would be the max on the rev. No four players controlling two remote-things each, I'm afraid. Two players controlling two each is perfectly doable though. I'd dig up the quote but frankly, I can't be arsed.

Majora's Mask easily. As I've said before, I even rate MM above Ocarina of Time for many reasons. I think that people really didn't give MM a chance when it first came out because of the whole three day thing and the save system and such which is, admittedly, frustrating before you get used to it and really understand it. MM really is a great game and if you didn't give it a chance on the N64 then go out and find a copy of the zelda collectors set on ebay or something. It's an amazing game.

It'd be cool because I guess you'd kind of be able to use it as a dual monitor system without having to go to the expense of getting another monitor. Just plonk a mirror next to it. Though I bet such a monitor would cost an absolute bomb anyway.

Thanks for pointing this out, it was very very interesting. I'm glad not to have to buy the ps2 version after capcom have yet again screwed a console over with a Resi game. They did a similar thing, though not to the same extent with Code Veronica on Dreamcast (Rest it's soul). OMG IT'S A DC EXCLUSIVE!!111 OMG!!! errr actually it's just an exclusive for a while until the ps2 version comes out... OMG!!!!! oh and the ps2 version will have new cutscenes and stuff and extra features!!!111 It's the same thing as when a band release an album, then barely a month later release a version with a couple of extra tracks on. It annoys me so much when companies do this because it really screws over the real fans who'll get the game/album/whatever as soon as it comes out. </rant>

I know Games Press have it listed as the 25th and they should be on the money and up to date. Although it would make total sense them releasing it a week earlier. I mean, if you had to choose between Mario Kart and Sonic Rush on the 25th then it's really a no brainer isn't it?

I did it but only for the exams I didn't care too much about. I wouldn't really put that in your essay though. "Examiners" are pretty much always underpaid (and often underqualified) teachers who'll mark yours (and thousands of others) paper in their spare time. You'd think that putting in something funny like that will make them smile. It won't, trust me. They'll be loads of people putting in stuff like that and it's more likely to just make them annoyed with you and your paper. If you want to please an examiner just make sure your handwriting is easily readable, that the work is well set out and that it's clear what you're trying to say in a sentence.

I can't believe ps3 tops the lot. Out of all the next gen consoles ps3 is the one i'm looking forward to least by far.

Why is using cats and dogs as live bait for fishing so much more shocking and digusting than using other, established forms of live bait in fishing? Just think about it before stating the obvious. Mine was alright but overall a bit shit really. Made two awesome amazing friends though but otherwise it wasn't anywhere near as 'crazy' or party orientated as I expected. But then again, I'm in a small campus in a different town to my main uni (uni = lincoln, me = hull campus) So it isn't really a proper sized uni at all.

You don't have that good an understanding of maths so stop saying people are wrong with your flawed mathematics. 0.333... will NEVER "progress" to or equal "0.3333......4" BUT. If it were 0.333999... then THAT would equal 0.334 It's the nines at the end that are key. EDIT: Stop thinking that the 0.999... reaches or 'progresses' to 1 or whatever the number is that has the 0.999... at the end. It doesn't. It just EQUALS that number. the 0.999... goes on INFINITELY. It's an actual infinite rather than a potential one.

As far as I can understand it it goes like this. 0.999... Is a number which never ends. People who say "0.999... is always a little bit less than one" are wrong because the number in fact never actually ends and they are just assuming it to finish somewhere down the line. The number is the same as the number 1 because the nines go off in to infinity. That's the explanation as I understand it that the mathematicians give. I guess it makes sense if you think about it. EDIT: It'd be the same for any number really that had recurring nines at the end. Eg: 7.99... = 8

Yes but if he's going around calling it a "business" then he needs to do things right or he's gonna end up getting in trouble pretty quickly. No, you don't need an A-level, that's fine and dandy, the point I was trying to make is if he's serious about starting a business then he needs to get the education. Sarka, about your idea though. Go ahead with it, but I wouldn't go around calling it a "business" just yet. Start selling your stuff to friends and family and such at first, until you get further on in your course and learn the right way to go about setting up a real business. I'd just really advise against calling it a "business" and selling to people you don't know just yet or you'll end up in trouble somewhere pretty quickly.

Seriously. Wait. Go take business A level or something and then decide if you want to run a business but whatever you do, do not 'start your business' now. If you don't even know little basics like the questions you're asking then you obviously have not done anywhere near the right amount of research you need to do. Asking in some forum is not what you should be doing to find out how to run a business, you wanna go to your local library and research heavily. Maybe get some a level/gcse revision books or something. But seriously. Get your head out of the clouds for the moment, and do your own research before you 'start a business'.
