Anyone else get mario? Now is it just my dodgy memory or is this like a super sped up version of the original? I'm sure mario didn't use to be this speedy! Maybe it's the later remakes clouding my memory though...

I too am one of the culprits. At home for christmas so I'm away from my normal computer so it's awkward having the friends codes easily noticeable near my wii... Also 61 odd people in the thread - little bit daunting right now to be honest! Come just after new year I'll be back at my uni home and I'll add everyone around then.

i think this current trial has some kind of multi windows support, it just isn't visible. I'm often finding myself randomly on a page i visited a while ago without messing with the back/forward arrows or anything.

has anyone else found that youtube has suddenly stopped working on the wii browser? have they (youtube) just upgraded to flash 8 or something?

yeah that annoyed me too. Try pressing the two button if you're going to read an entire thread? makes the text super big and fit on a single page but it's too slow to scroll through for scanning a page quick yeah, this really is the best use i've found for this thing so far! oh, its really tricky making long posts i've just found out. You can't highlight and delete text and you can only see two lines you're typing at a time. Eek. Also for single letter words like 'i' and 'a' why does predictive first type a > instead? overall it is much faster and capable than i ever expected.

eep posting from my wii now. Bit awkward to browse with really but better than nothing i guess. Wish there was some way to increase font size rather than this zooming.

Jeesus I hope this is not true. If it is then it'll put me off playing Wii online at all. The way the DS friend codes thing works has pretty much entirely made me lose interest in playing online with that.

Normal fishing IS shite but the lure fishing section is much more like it. RE the reekfish, I had trouble wondering what to do on this bit too. Just show all the zora the thing (picture?) you have and note what they say and you might work out where you have to go before you can catch reekfish...

I don't get how to do the baseball one where you have to hit it out of the stadium or at least into the crowd. That one always puts my fitness age up dramatically because I have no idea how I'm meant to hit it.

I always recorded that infoblast cheat thing or whatever it was at the end of show. Not because I gave a shit about the cheats but because I thought it was 'pretty cool'

This game is so deceptively awesome. At first I was properly addicted to tennis and found everything else a bit shit. Then I learned how amazing bowling was on this thing. Now I'm discovering the joys of Wii Sports golf - been playing that so much today, so relaxing yet enjoyable. Not yet found the appeal of boxing of baseball yet but judging from comments on here, I think it's only time... In baseball though I can't seem to aim where i've hit the ball or get anywhere near an out of the stadium hit

No offense but you're just not great bowlers. To bowl a ball perfectly straight is a hard thing to do and it is difficult to lose the natural twist you put on a ball but it can definitely be done. I used to be in a professional junior bowling league and I can get a straight line on Wii sports almost every time if I try. (Although I prefer spinning it anyway, helps to prevent evil splits)

Spin does exist, you just have to spin it like you would a real tennis ball - not as easy as you'd think. Just to let you know that this is not a glitch or anything like that. I was in a professional junior bowling team so know what I'm talking about. When you bowl most people don't realise that they're putting left spin on the ball but most people do right at the end of their throw. You can control this by trying to keep your wrist absolutely still as you let go of the ball but it can be a difficult thing to do. Left handed noob bowlers will have the ball spinning off to the right quite a bit without them realising that it's them that's making the ball do that. If you're still having trouble then keep the dpad aim straight but put it over to the right a bit to compensate for the left spin. Coming in to the pins at an angle like that (but still hitting the front) actually increases the chances of more going down.

Yep, we at manchester met will get the Wii on the 6th whilest those COMMONERS at man main will get no Wii! This is one of many reasons why man met is better than man main :p
