  1. Fantastic. Even as someone who's never played Minecraft, i think Steve and co are great inclusions given they're from one of the biggest games in the world. Looks a fun wacky fighter to use too. Oh and called it, kind of Tetris block next please Nintendo!
  2. It's great fun, a little easy at this early stage when you start at 1-1 but should get much tougher in later levels and when the hardcore stick with it. The fire flower seems a bit OP though but I don't think killing enemies with it it gives you as much extra time as jumping on them so it's risk/reward.
  3. PS3 and PS4 sold out at launch, most consoles do these days. Hell even the Wii U sold out, of course the PS5 was going to.
  4. Really looking forward to this, looked great
  5. Bit weird how this is out in two days but you wouldn't know it. There's been such little marketing since the initial push. Maybe they spent their whole budget on that Hunted short, I could believe it! Hopefully this isn't being sent out to die giving EA the excuse that "no one wants space combat games".
  6. I know every character will have fans somewhere, personally I'm hoping it's a bit wackier like Captain Toad, Crash, Rabbid Peach, the knight from Hollow Knight, Shovel Knight, Minecraft Steve, Juan from Guacamelee, something a bit different.
  7. Come on anime sword-wielding RPG/Fire Emblem character.
  8. I think it kind of is, in that the extra work put in these last two months = better game/higher sales, and that extra revenue goes towards the staff. Overtime happens in all industries obviously and I've worked in plenty of places where people actually ask for overtime, especially when they get double/triple pay. I could see a similar situation here where some of the staff, so the situation becomes even more complicated.
  9. An original film from ANYONE these day?? Though it's based on an existing property obviously (let's not go too crazy) I'm always a bit disappointed hearing things are going to be prequels, would have much preferred a sequel
  10. What are you talking about. I added "There's a greater cause here than sticking two fingers up to the government." maybe 45 seconds after my original post, certainly not after your reply and nothing to do with making myself look better, just an additional point I thought I'd add, shortly after my original post. As for the actual subject matter, seems we disagree, and that's fine. No need for the usual sniping.
  11. Yes, I get the point they're making. I get that people won't in a "if they won't I won't" sort of way. Me personally I'd rather just do my bit to help end this pandemic asap. There's a greater cause here than sticking two fingers up to the government.
  12. I find this attitude a bit childish. You can dislike the government and still follow the rules for the benefit of the country/world.
  13. Not watched this yet, but looking forward to it. Always fun seeing behind the scenes at ILM.
  14. Another dig at Sony. Feels like the reverse of last gen's launch!
  15. They'll probably just leave it to Geoff Keighley to explain things again
  16. If I get a Series S, will it let me download/play my Xbox One games I own on disk? I only ask because, you know, there's no disk drive!
  17. Open letter to Toby Haynes: lots of X-Wings please.
  18. I would if it was the 35th anniversary Mario pins but seems that's US only. As with a lot of the official Nintendo merch I think, that's a pretty good deal/price, then the £9 delivery pops up and I'm like
  19. Nice to hear positive comments about MK Tour. I'll admit I played for ten minutes then never again
  20. I could see Microsoft allowing Bethesda to publish a few future games on Playstation, but why spend £60/70 when you can play it for 'free' on Game Pass? Their already amazing service just got a whole lot better.
  21. I wish I had your ear for soundtracks, I'll happily admit that a lot of the intricacies of film score goes over my head (had to look up what leitmotifs are ). Having said that I pretty much agree with most of the above. A melting pot of what influenced Star Wars, instead of being influenced by Star Wars is perfectly put, and that extends to the whole show. *Spoilers* When Baby Yoda lifted the mudhorn in episode 2, it would have been so easy to use the Force theme but no, they gave us something more in-keeping with the show (and it was fantastic). Really excited to see what he does next year, not long to wait now. Using the asteroid field theme for the Kessel Run or Into the Death Star for Crait wasn't an issue for me at all, I agree they're safe choices that play on nostalgia, but it's easy to just consider them part of the Falcon's theme ! I do agree the prequels were more ambitious soundtrack wise (and I suppose, in general) than the sequels though. That said Rey's theme is beautiful, and I can't go one week without putting March of the Resistance on.
