I'm clearly not as strong as you, just pre-ordered I put it down to needing to know what those 35 little surprises are.
-
Up for pre-order
-
How do you know it's 30 FPS out of curiosity? The footage they showed seemed to be from the Gamecube version as it still had that controller's button design on the UI
-
From a marketing point of view putting the three games makes a stronger image, the three big tentpoles, one from each console. I wouldn't be surprised to see Galaxy 2 release as paid/free DLC down the line though.
-
If anyone wants this it's back in stock, but be quick, it'll likely be sold out in minutes https://gumroad.com/l/QYvKca

Are people really praising Nintendo for this though? People are excited sure, but no one's saying "Well done Nintendo" or applauding them. Just a weird complaint to make imo, really scraping the bottom of the barrel.
-
Well said. Put much better than me. I still don't see any hypocrisy. No one was criticising the Crash or Spyro collections, quite the opposite in fact. But then again this is Nintendo, and certain people just love to criticise anything and everything.
-
Who was criticising the Crash trilogy, that would allow for hypocrisy? Putting aside the gulf in quality, Nintendo games are valued higher, it should be pretty obvious by now.

It's Zelda's 35th anniversary next year, Zelda 35 launching April 2021 to replace this!

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury (12 Feb 2021)
Ronnie replied to Ronnie's topic in Nintendo Gaming
You're in for a treat, amazing game if you're into 3D platforming. The way they're advertising Bowser's Fury makes it seem like it's own standalone thing, obviously likely a smaller scale one. We'll see I guess, shame no more info now. -
Love the original game, and very intrigued by what Bowser's Fury is. Also new amiibo confirmed from the press release.
-
One of those, I don't need it, but I NEED it type things
-
Love it. Typical Nintendo idea, something completely fresh and different. They're kings of doing the unexpected.
-
Yeah proper remasters with updated visuals etc they tend to release standalone, but collections like this have been a thing from Nintendo for a while. Disappointed they didn't update the visuals but watching the gameplay in the Direct the games still look great, Galaxy and Sunshine especially. And coming out in two weeks! I love it when they do that.
-
Fantastic, another innovative and clever spin on Battle Royale. It's free to NSO subscribers right as a perk?
-
Wow what a first page of this thread, given the announcements. Anywaaay, amazing Direct. I was expecting 3D All Stars to be a random Twitter announcement so to get 15 minutes with so much brand new content is fantastic!! Nintendo

Wonder if the title card will be blue in the episodes too. And if the first ep of season 2 will be "Chapter 9..."? Sorry I get really geeky over little things like that Skim-read that article earlier, saw nothing outrageous, but when has that ever stopped people. Will have a proper read now. I feel like Ridley, Isaac and Boyega seemed to 50% love their time on Star Wars, but at the same time found the "fan" toxicity (be it racial in Boyega or Kelly Marie-Tran's case, or in terms of people not being happy with the way the story went, I think Daisy was particular annoyed at the OTT outrage after TLJ) to basically have put them off the franchise for life. It's really sad, one of the many downsides of social media. As for Mando, I'm sure a trailer will be around any day now, I guess this way they get two big PR beats. I'll either skip it or just skim it briefly. A part of me kind of wishes they just don't release one and everyone goes in blind when it releases. It'll never happen of course, but would be a pretty interesting way of going about it.

Offers now tell you how long they run for
-
Hooray!! Interesting how they don't call it season 2, maybe I'm reading too much into it. Nice new logo, looks like they're doing the sequel trilogy colour coding
-
For me it's mostly used for smaller titles. The Switch used to be the indie machine of choice for obvious reasons but since Game Pass I've been holding out and just playing them there.
-
Just three games bundled together apparently, missing Galaxy 2 and being revealed tomorrow. We'll see...

Ubisoft Forward (10th September 2020 @ 20:00 BST)
Ronnie replied to Julius's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Glad to see another one of these, the last one was surprisingly bare (even with the AAA big hitters). Be nice to finally see something of Gods and Monsters. I've no idea how that was supposed to come out in February this year, given they've shown nothing of it to the public. Always sounded like a bullshit release date. Also, Mario + Rabbids 2... please?! -
I think that's less of an opinion and more STATING THE BLEEDING OBVIOUS.
-
I think the conversation has run its course anyway, from me anyway.
-
I didn't ask you for proof that stock would be low, I asked you as a rebuttal to you asking me for proof, whether you knew for a fact that Sony were doing this to combat scalpers and not just another PR milestone on their hype train. Obviously stock will be low, we've known that for ages. Sure, but the trouble is by that point they'll have been selected as a lucky winner to pre-order the console. Don't underestimate the lure of being drawn in with this supposedly rare chance to get a PS5 at launch before anyone else. This has nothing to do with what we're talking about. Any excuse to have a dig at Xbox though, eh? Ok? Or, the opposite is true. It'll sell out regardless. They're not doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, "Be the first to pre-order, just sign up your details here and we'll see if you play enough Playstation games to be in with a chance", it's just marketing spin. But hey, two viewpoints. We've no ida which is correct.
