Well, I saw the first OVA, and think it was pretty good on the whole, plus there was some nice rain animation. I don't know how they're going to fit the story into 4 episodes however...

This game is awesome. It took me so long to complete Team Rocket mode, but I emerged triumphant in the end!

You do often tend to get silly rows going on, but I think most of the time they fizzle out when people ignore them. Plus, as Shorty says, most of the real trouble makers end up being banned. In fact I like arguing, but by that I mean logical debating, not bitch fights. I think we should have more debates on this forum.

If I look up I see the ceiling and the bottom of a picture frame. If I look down I see my keyboard and my computer screen. If I look behind me I see a lemon coloured wall. If I look straight ahead I see my laptop screen and a window onto some plants. If I look right I see a bit of sofa, a lamp and a big plant. If I look left I see a metronome and some french windows onto a patio.

I write right handed, albeit terribly and I had writing lessons that didn't really do any good when I was younger. Nevertheless, I'm a bit ambidextrous with some things- and for other activities I use my left hand instinctively. I'm still a righty for the most part though. -

I think rewards based on post counts could encourage spamming a bit too much... also, I think 5000 posts is more reasonable, as nobody (other than Flinky) is going to get 10,000 posts any time soon.

If I reach 10,000 posts and I'm not allowed a bigger avatar, I'm coming to find you. :wink: On a serious note, I reckon you can do what you want being an admin. It's just one of the special things that admins get... I mean having a private board is kind of a bigger deal than a few more pixels in avatar height, and everyone's fine with that.

It's worth noting that Ghibli dubs have a much higher budget than normal anime dubs. (This is coming from someone who thinks the idea of dubbing anything is fundamentally flawed) Also, only having freeview, I won't get this channel, but I am... interested in what the general response to Elfen Lied will be.

The irony is that if you can write a program to solve quadratics, you can solve them yourself anyway. (this being further maths A2, the formula was fairly burnt into my skull, along with how to derive it)

It's not so much the signature size that I care about, it's more the avatar size. I think 18.3kb is just too small. Hell, even on go discussions where nobody cares about avatars they have a 19.5kb size limit.

For what you claim to be a modern forum, I think the maximum sig/avatar sizes are terribly small. For instance, on animesuki, where the max avatar size is only 100x100, you still get 50kb to play with, and a further 48.8kb for the signature. The small sizes here mean I have to spend ages optimising my pictures on photoshop so that they are the right size but don't look compressed and horrible. I'm not terribly bothered if the mods/admins get more space, as long as bog standard members get something reasonable. (Also, what are the more relaxed regulations for veteran members? ) Nevertheless, I think the 125x125 size avatars are lovely.
