I find it amusing, mostly because of references and the atmosphere - it isn't really laugh out loud humour. (watch Yakitate!! Japan for that) But yeah, it isn't superb or anything.

Unless the remaining one was about anime, I think you've got the wrong thread. By the way, Yakitate!! Japan is the funniest anime I have seen. The United Kingdom rap in episode 36 is so hilarious: "We are from the UK, we really like tea, we also occasionally hang out in pubs. Fish and Chips! Fish and Chips! Oh, no, everyone's happy in London tower!" I think that sums up everything the standard Japanese person knows about the UK.

Well, I finished reading it, 'twas okay. Some nice stuff, some poorly written stuff. I wish we had been told more about the surviving characters.

Not really... I mean Discworld is infinitely better than Harry Potter, but I don't see why you'd think it was copied. Pratchett's Unseen University is a load of stuffy old men with beards, nothing like Hogwarts at all.

Is this the anal sex thing? I know another gay guy who complains about that, but frankly, it's just sensible, and is in no way homophobic- people who have had anal sex recently are not allowed to donate blood, whatever their sex and sexuality. -

Anyone who has said on their driving licence that they are willing to donate all their organs will have the code "115" on the back of the card. This includes me, though the decision was pretty hard to make, so I definitely don't think there should be an opt-out system. -

I'm watching Yakitate Japan at the moment, and after the first 2 episodes I think it's great. I knew a 69 episode anime about baking bread would be good.

From the thread title I though that a member called "3 today" had a birthday, possibly his 3rd. I see this is not the case. Happy birthday!
