  1. Not counting Pokemon, probably something like 2004 or 2005, I can't remember exactly.
  2. Now I see why you had to put safe search on.
  3. Hah, I read that as "Naruto and FLCL are both really short", and thought you had gone insane.
  4. It's about a guy who is a "hikkikomori", which means somebody who is scared to leave the house or see people, and he meets a girl who tries to readjust him to the normal world. It's a bit more complicated than that, but it's great. There are several fans of it on this forum.
  5. The first series is 24 episodes and 2 specials, and the second series is 12 episodes. It's a bit of an accquired taste, however, and bears more resemblances to TV drama than to most anime shows. Have you seen Welcome to the NHK? You might enjoy that more. (it's 24 episodes)
  6. Well, I finished the second (and final) series of Honey and Clover, and the name finally makes sense. I recommend it to anyone who likes very realistic anime.
  7. I love of some the seiyuus, even when I can understand what they're saying. Aya Hirano and Mai Nakahara spring to mind.
  8. Eww... Why do they torture us so? On a side note, the second series of Honey and Clover is awesome. Renai are so cool.
  9. Happy birthday! [further congratulatory comment]
  10. Anyone who liked Honey and Clover series one but hasn't got round to watching series 2, watch it now. Episode 4 is amazing... Mayama is so cool.
  11. Well, I listened to his reviews of Twilight Princess, Link to the Past, and FFVII. He said a few things that were true about TP, a lot of things that were true about ALTTP, and a load of crap about FFVII. (I like all these games) Still, it was pretty funny.
  12. Oh, I used the define: function in my head...
  13. Neutralisation = acid reacts with base to produce a salt and a water. Polymerisation = many small monomers react to form a macromolecular polymer. Addition = A functional group is added to a molecule, often across a double bond. Displacement (redox) = One element is reduced while another is oxidised, so a species is "displaced". Precipitation = Two aqueous ions react to form a solid which precipitates out of the solution. Fermentation = Glucose is anaerobically respired, forming ethanol as a product. More detail? Less detail? Edit: Heh... Cube's answers are probably better, I was still writing when he posted.
  14. Wow, I hadn't realised Flinky had left until now, that makes me sad... But anyway, congrats to all those with awards.
  15. Thanks again everyone. My dad somehow found that out and wrote it in my card. I had all frees this afternoon, and I think my chemistry teacher took pity on me and let me do the mock then, so I'm home at the normal time. I got various things, notably Black Books, Elfen Lied, and of course my new go board...
  16. Heh, thank you. We celebrated my birthday yesterday as it was a bank holiday, and I have to stay late for a chemistry mock tomorrow...
  17. The only anime DVDs I have that have impressed me are the ADV ones, especially for Azumanga Daioh.
  18. I have a lovely new go set: I also bought all the Elfen Lied DVDs.
  19. Darkcloud, please tell me you didn't sit through the Higurashi ED 26 times...
  20. Yes, the OP is fairly mental, especially if you don't like Yuki. I find I get used to a song if I'm forced to listen to it enough times.
