@ReZourceman - you can have the key to my heart. That Donkey Kong game you described is all I've ever wanted sinc DK64! I can't bare to look at new trailers for tropical freeze now, it's such a step back. For me, I'd love to see the original DKC trilogy in HD. Using the original uncompressed assets (if that's possible, but this is a fantasy anyway so let's just go for it) or using beautiful stylised framework like Rayman Legends with orchestrated renditions of all the classic songs. Unlockables in the form of concept art from the original games, and extras such as a remake of the AMAZING fishing minigame from DKC 1 on the Gameboy Color.

Being a huge fan of the Viewtiful Joe series I was pretty interested in this before release, but after giving the demo a go I wasn't too sure on what to think so I didn't get it straight away. I got it today 'cause I saw a mint condition copy (which came with VIP points!) in CEX for just £22 and my GOD. I feel so silly for waiting this long now. This is by far one of the most exciting, interesting and fun titles I've played all year! I feel utterly stupid waiting this long to get it and almost guilty that I didn't buy it first hand! But yeah, I haven't been this pumped for a game since Viewtiful Joe 2! If it wasn't for the fact I have work tomorrow I'd still be playing now :p But seriously, if you have a Wii U, do yourself a favour and GET THIS GAME.

I've finally done most of my Christmas shopping! Those two are my favourite purchases. My mom was awkward as always and asked for some weird Mexican Christmas CD that she used to listen to when she was little :p All I could find was a vinyl or MP3 versions so I've burnt it onto a blank CD and made a Christmas themed case for it! I hope she likes the effort I went to for this utterly terrible album ahaha

I'm loving it, though the Marble Zone is as gnarly as I remember it :p I'm really gagging for some more 3D SEGA action, I remember quite liking Altered Beast but thinking it was a bit short, I've never played Space Harrier but it looks interesting! What would you guys suggest out of the two? Though I really am leaning towards Altered Beast :p The dream of being a man bear is all too tempting.

PS Plus is totally worth it, I only have a Vita so see half of whats on offer, and even that has paid for itself. I don't have the time for all these games so yeah, I probably don't have to buy another Vita game again :p It also helps introduce you to games you may not have risked buying otherwise! I'd love for Nintendo to do this too. It would be good with Virtual Console titles alone!

It's good to have a positive young role-model for gay/bi people when the typical bad stereotypes are always thrown down everyone's throats or used for comedy purposes. This will no doubt help a lot of younger people out who feel ashamed/scared to come out, especially given that, in his words, many fans have been very supportive. There obviously would have been people that I just didn't know of, but when I was in my teens I didn't know of a single gay person in the public eye with a positive image who wasn't a crazy party animal/drunk or... Alan Carr. It can make you feel a bit isolated.

That happens to me weirdly, but only when playing Just Dance (so thankfully it's not really a problem!) Maybe it's just certain software? And I don't know about you guys but the awful bug that makes the whole system freeze and do that awful noise hasn't happened in ages now! Maybe it's finally gone!

I can't see it happening. I'm quite worried about the sales of 2, I can't imagine a port of the original would fare too well given the current climate.

It's a bad day to be a Nintendo gamer indeed, and whilst I can't really feel for Nintendo with the Wii U (because their marketing has been a complete and utter disgrace) I do think Mario deserved to chart a lot higher, from what I've played, it's fantastic. But again, what were Nintendo thinking? Oh yeah, let's just release it on the same day as the biggest console release in years. Jesus christ. I really don't know what happened to them since the Wii era. It's like when 2010 was over they forgot how to do consoles. I mean really, I knew the Wii U was doing bad, but ONE DAY. At least they made the UK online store, eh? I doubt many other places will want to stock their stuff :p

The Wii U was kind of confusing from the start. I mean, they concentrate on multiplayer gaming, but you can only have one GamePad per console. So you either have to get a Pro Controller, or a Wii Remote, (though remember it has to be a Wii Remote Plus or have a Wii Motion Plus attachment!), maybe a nunchuk as well, don't forget the Wii Fit board, oh man, you can use the Wii Classic Controller/Pro if you can't get hold of a Pro Controller. The Wii U is a new console though! Just remember to buy all these Wii branded controllers with it! Get a basic pack? Shit man, all them controllers you got? Better go get yourself a sensor bar! But where from!? Just look online, type in WII SENSOR BAR FOR WII and use it on your Wii U! What new titles are for this Wii add on then? NO, its a new console! On this new console you can enjoy... WII SPORTS HD. NEW SUPER MARIO BROS U. WII FIT U. WII PARTY U. WII. WII. WII. Did you know it's in HD though? HD! HD. I bet you haven't experienced stuff in HD before! I do love my Wii U but I can see why people don't bother.

That's always what put me off Persona 4, too! If there's a demo I might try it but I don't think there is. EDIT: Also, I downloaded Sonic Racing Now I have it on 360, Wii U and Vita :p

I was so happy they included the 3DS in this for a good 5 seconds as it gave me an excuse to post about Bieber and Mariah Carey on the front page last Christmas :p

Is that all versions of Just Dance? Might have a gander if it is, my friend is thinking of getting it so it might make for a good Christmas present! (I'll just have to put her off buying it herself :P)

Sadly you'll need multiple Wii Remotes for pretty much every game as they all require simultaneous play! I think you can play with one Wiimote and the GamePad on a few but I can't be sure, and I think you'd need two connected anyway to activate 2 player mode :/ Do you have a Wiimote already though? Because the game comes with one!

I can imagine the reviews now... "Poor title, this is not what the Wii U needs right now" *sick starts spewing out of every hole on body*

Sorry pud, as I said, the last time I was on I SWEAR I couldn't find it :p I'm not just using that as an excuse to not get my ass whooped again :p But I'll be on tomorrow anyway as I heard some Miiverse rumblings of Miley Cyrus DLC? There's one shelf in my Tesco, with a random mish-mash of 3DS, DS, Wii and Wii U games. Saying that though, the Wii U games that ARE there are pretty decent. Got Sonic Lost World for £32 a from there a few weeks ago (which is the cheapest I could find on the highstreet, mainly because the only other place selling Wii U games by me is GAME and Smiths)
