  1. 1. Resident Evil 4 - Wow. Just wow. Favorite game on the Cube', I just absolutely loved this game, as many others did. Phenomenal graphics, fantastic gameplay and the sound is unforgettable, anyone else remember the heavy breathing of the Regenerators? I certainly do 2. Super Smash Bros. Melee - Do I really need to say anything? 3. Metroid Prime - This game had so many critics, so many unbelievers before the release of this game. Boy, were they proved wrong. A fantastic re-imagining of a classic series many thought impossible, Retro Studios just seemed to get everything right with this game. Best looking game on the Cube, not just technically but artistically too! Perfection defined. 4. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Really goes to show that even now, this game still looks stunning. Classic Zelda, thrown into a big pot of gorgeous and mixed with a hint of water. 5. Metal Arms: Glitch in the System - One the most under-rated and over-looked game on the Cube', if you don't have this game in your collection you should be ashamed. Sublime 3rd person shooter, this melds together exquisite gameplay ,an enjoyable(and very funny!) story and great graphics. Rock hard old-school type of game, this game really is worth hunting down. 6. Tales of Symphonia. 7. Beyond Good and Evil. 8. Timesplitters 2. 9. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. 10. Mario Kart: Double Dash.

    GTA IV

Wow. Just seen this section of the above interview posted on GAF, if it doesn't get you excited for this game, I really don't know what will.
  3. Can't wait for this, should be fantastic! I just wish other developers would try and innovate with their games as much as this game has, really looks like Konami put some serious effort and thought into this.
  4. Still in, can play anytime during the week I think.

    Wii FPS

Can't believe theres a lack of FPS games on the Wii, the systems perfect for them! Though Red Steel 2 could be pretty good, they already have the basic foundations laid down from the first game, all they have to do is work out few issues and throw in a online mode! Though I would like an original IP from Retro, having a FPS spin-off from Metroid about the Federation Soldiers could be good, they could just use Metroid Prime 3's engine.
  6. Would love to see something like a Golden Sun for the Wii, spin-off from the Handheld games maybe, and some new Day of Disaster information would be pretty cool, haven't seen anything about that game for ages! Not going to hype myself up though, every time I do I usually end up disappointed.
  7. Count me in.
  8. (Except on Blue-ray) Been a really expensive week, spent around 1000 Euro altogether!
  9. Pretty interesting, hopefully will be a new IP! Wouldn't mind a new F-Zero though, the Gamecube game was godly.
  10. Sounds really good, wasn't expecting much of this to be honest, but getting really hyped up for it now! Comes out next month right?
  11. Maybe its just me, but I think this game looks like it could be really good and maybe a sleeper hit. They have some good ideas, graphics look quite nice and it seems like they're really trying to implement a decent online mode, which is great news for me!
  12. Happy St. Paddys day, time to get drunk!
  13. I never really got into the MGS series unfortunately, only ever played MGS3 and I never even finished it. Will I be fine playing this without having played the first two, or should I try and track them down online?
  14. Not really happy at the draw, Arsenal are the one team I wanted to miss playing! Have to play them 3 times in one week now, and with the Everton derby on the week beforehand it really should be an interesting to see how we cope. Anyway, I predict Arsenal will play better but we'll get through nonetheless, perhaps courtesy of Torres
  15. So before I pick the game up tomorrow in town, just wondering does the lack of blood really take much away from the game? Might just get the American version with the Freeloader and Brawl next week if I can find a good price.
  16. So I was thinking of getting this along with Fire Emblem at the weekend, is it a worth picking up? Not sure I'll like it, is it just set in the school or is there an area to roam around ala GTA? Might give it a rent to see if I like it.
  17. Good luck everyone! Vote: No Lynch
  18. Would get Edge the odd time if I seen it in the stores, but aside from that the only magazine I buy religiously is FourFourTwo, great magazine for Football.
  19. Bioshock - Fantastic game, my favorite of this generation so far. Halo 3 - Play it all the time, just so much fun online. Oblivion - Love this game, just so much to do!
  20. This got a score of 91% in GamesMaster if anyones interested, don't really know if the magazine is any good but just flicked through it in Easons and seen the score. They liked the bikes and Wii Wheel(what?:P), and the speed felt really good, can't remember the negatives.
  21. New gameplay trailer for the game looks sweet, thank god they cranked the speed up! Haven't been following this game too closely, does anyone know if there'll be online racing or anything?
  22. Smash Bros could easily work on the DS, hell, no-one heard of Jump Superstars? Though I admit I haven't played it, from what I've heard its a game ala Smash Bros in that loads of popular characters from Animes like Dragonball and One piece come together and have a massive Brawl! (pun intended :P) Suppose to be loads of fun, only downside is it wasn't localized for America or Europe.
  23. Had a great day today, got 4 free tickets to watch Ireland vs. Portugal in soccer next Tuesday! Helps if your friends with the Captain but meh. Also FINALLY ordered the last parts for my computer, perfect timing as I can put it together over the Easter holidays
  24. Really great review this week, probably my favorite along with the Orange Box one!
  25. Count me in please!
