Finally got round to playing Mini Metro which I've had in my Steam account for a while and holy shit, that game is delicious. Music, design, game play, simple yet astonishingly addictive. The perfect puzzle game. Apparently it's not on phone/tablets yet but they're still working on it and that version can't come soon enough.

Traded in The Division, Wolfenstein & MGSV + £1 for Doom, feeling pretty good about it. Also a cheap but decent brand router because the Virgin "Superhub" is garbage made by garbage people. Oh, Fire Emblem Conquest as well, should keep me busy for my 2 weeks off starting next week.

Just saw a woman on BBC News describing how she likes Farage because he's "powerful" and "people can look at him and think "My god he was good!"" and I'm just sat in here in bewilderment trying to pinpoint what precisely has to go wrong in somebody's life for them to look at Farage and see strength. On a similar note to the Samantha B video Stephen Colbert encasulates what I fear we look like to the rest of the world now. We don't look like a nation taking control of it's destiny, we look like cartoonish dishonorable idiots.

Finished up Zelda: Link Between Worlds during the match. What an absolute stunner, a mesmerizing game, great play up and down the field, a terrific example of team passion & management achieving the incredible. The football match on the other hand was a bloody trainwreck. Yeeesh. Which reminds me, dare I ask how the Wales v Belgium game will be supported in your household? :p

Watched Farage's speech live, pretty much confirmed everything I suspected - No mention of what might be best for Britain or readying for the upcoming negotiations, almost entirely dedicated to insults and stroking his own ego. The speech by the Scottish MEP was like a soothing balm afterward, even while watching as an Englishman in England.

Well, this was fun. Do we want another Scottish Independence referendum or do the Irish Reunification thing next? Even if Farage was given immediate absolute power immigration wouldn't fall anywhere near what Leave voters might hope for: businesses of every size would be screaming at his door not to.

I hope it turns out it's a Mario Party-esque mini game collection.

IIRC this game is very much post-trilogy with galactic society recovered & taking the next step into the final frontier. Honestly I loved Mass Effect and thought I was done but every time I see it I feel the love pulling me back.
-
One further point I'd like to add: If Leave wins count on Scotland having a 2nd Independence referendum and count on it being more likely for the Independence side to win.

Christ I didn't even think of that. I've been too hung up on the Boris/Quimby comparison.

In! Leaving won't solve any of the problems we have and the economic & social futures of myself and many people I know & love are dependent on free movement and easy access to the European business & jobs market. Potentially "leaving" could mean withdrawing our EU representation but still being subject to the ECC, which doesn't make sense for anyone. Boris & Farage have both been so hideously two-faced I'm amazed they haven't been laughed off stage at every turn. Frankly the whole Leave campaign reminds me of The Simpsons episode where they blame immigrants for the "Bear Patrol" tax.

This adds weight to my theory that you're an anime come to life.

I'm real mad there's now showing of When Marnie Was There near me. Might check out the book though.

I drew the Czech Rep. at the work sweepstakes and I'm ok with that.

Did I hear correctly that the campaign will feature the famous Harlem Hellfighters? Because exploring that by itself would be super interesting.

We obviously don't know what the exact relationship between Neo & the base PS4 will be but scuttlebutt is Sony will be mandating new games to be utilizing Neo's extra jazz by the end of this year. Zero Dawn seems ambitious enough in scope to become a Neo poster-child and it makes me pause and wonder how each version will compare in visuals and/or performance, with each other and the trailers. Hopefully there's not much difference but it does give me a pause.
-
One concern I have: How does the base game version compare to the inevitable "Neo" version of this?

Just pre-bought it based on the Guardian review (3/5) - looks likely it'll be another flawed gem but the gem I want.

Definitely might consider it, loved the previous one with an Xbox controller and my faithful ol' laptop certainly can't handle it.
