I'm kinda liking game delays right now, there seems to be a constant stream of stuff I want but can't keep up with.

Written & directed by Spike Lee. I hear it's hysterically bad.

Just because I need to express this somewhere: I've been in what feels like fairly serious emotional pain over the past few days BUT this is a good thing. I've been in therapy for a few months now trying to unlock myself and I believe this is progress. I've been effectively dead inside FOR YEARS, so although this hurts it feels like something PRODUCTIVE for once.

I just noticed this thread, all my thoughts to his friends & loved ones obviously. I'm glad we were able to say goodbye to him, he will be missed.

This is definitely Team Fortress 3 in all the best ways possible. Rather than "maining" anyone it's actually been fun experimenting with all the characters - even ones that seem underpowered at first can be regular game-changers once you understand them. There's a lot I love about it, seriously thinking getting the pricier digital version at launch just so it's always there, ready to go.

Man I'm eager to get a taste of this. Wish I wasn't working so much during the open Beta period.

It is the 41st Millennium. The Imperium of Man, ruled by the God Emperor who's psychic energy guides ships through the daemon infested Warp, is in a constant state of war across the galaxy. At the forefront are the Space Marines, genetically modified warriors of unshakable loyalty and super human strength. Alongside them the Imperial Guard, ordinary men and woman drafted to the deadly front lines. Against them stand many foes: The Eldar, dark and mysterious aliens in the twilight of their empires. The Orks, vicious blood-thirsty creatures who thrive on violence. Above all else stands the forces of Chaos, the alliance of demonic gods and traitorous Space Marines who seek to escape the Warp and taint the very fabric of reality. It is the 41st Millennium and there is only war.

I'll be interested to hear what you guys think, even the good reviews don't make it sound like something I want/need to jump at. Seems likes I could just replay Lylat Wars again?

New trailer posted quietly during GDC with a slightly unnecessary sub title, cut from a scene from the game. They've been promising some killer emo-capture tech and it certainly looks promising on that basis.

Finally decided to go in on this after sifting through reviews. I hear the complaints about it's repetitive nature & story but looking forward to the loot game & atmosphere. Interested to see how/what Ubisoft has put together as much as anything.

I was genuinely surprised as to why I like this so much - then I realized that someone finally made a decent Freedom Fighters sequel as an MMO. Will definitely wait for reviews & expansion/cost plans but I'm strangely up on it? As far as dour-apocalypse games go this is probably going to be one of the better ones.

Don't even know how to respond to that. You've been a top man on here all through the years. We're all going to be poorer without you.

Sad to hear, didn't realize their fortunes had fell so hard. Games journalism is unrecognizable from 10 or even 5 years ago.

I wasn't looking forward to this but this looks exactly like the sort of dumb spectacle I actually want to see in a cinema. (Official Youtube, for convenience) Looks like Xcom: The Movie.

That's such goddamn bullshit I swear to christ. You'll pry my 12" Hawaiian from my cold dead feelers.

Papers Please is an more psychologically bruising experience then I was prepared for.

Oh boy. Somebody found a gas leak yesterday morning and the whole building hasn't had heating or hot water since. The utility guys had 3 vans on the case immediately but they've basically got to put fresh pipes in because the existing ones are rotten. They've been at it all day yesterday and today but we'll be lucky to have hot water back before end of tomorrow. I want a shower. >.<

Sometimes I think about playing a Final Fantasy game but then I remember I could spend the same time playing a good JRPG like this.

Think I'm going to invest in the WiiU side of things post new year, definitely this & MArio Maker. Start 2016 off right.

I am MUCH EXCITE!

My brother's dog, a big, lovely, rather shy German Shepard-mutt no more than a year old, whose company I enjoyed very much for a week this summer, has apparently been shot dead by some arsehole while they were out walking him. I was looking forward to spending Christmas with him while my brother was out of town, but I guess that's that. It's rather ruined my evening.

I've been meaning to rewatch the ol' LoK. The first two Books are cool but it gets so fucking good in Books 3 & 4 I swear to fucking god. Saints Row 4 & Assassins Creed: Love In The Time of Scurvy for £22 total from PSN. Not too shabby.

I still love Life is Strange overall but I'm not a fan of the final episode. The series was always at it's best when it was about meeting people and women helping other women, so when they ramp up the Twin Peaks/Chaos Theory stuff it lost me. I really hope Dontnod take another whack at a story series though, it was a refreshing alternative to the (none the less well produced) Telltale games. Really nothing else like it right now.

Man, it's not been quite a classic season but we've had a couple of good rounds and this was a classic. Great test for Lewis before taking the championship, nothing was plain sailing but he got it done. He's just been A+ class all season. Hope the other teams & engine suppliers really come back next year though, we're overdue for a Lewis V Seb showdown (maybe throw some Danny R & Alonso while they're at it).
