I actually wouldn't really like Defoe at Liverpool (if we''re talking about Tottenham players, I would actually prefer Robbie Keane!) I think we need someone up front, but I'm not sure who (don't honestly think Voronin will make a huge difference) I have been saying to myself for a while I don't think we need/want Owen back but lately I have just felt that if we had a fully fit Michael Owen back at Anfield, he's probably exacltly the type of player we need. And if Harry Kewell can get in a good pre-season, that's like having a new signing. It'll be great to have him back! (Though Rafa hasn't ruled him out of the Champions League Final!)

..perhaps a little unrelated here, but I don't get developers sometimes. Over the last couple of generations, Nintendo consoles have been seen to have a dearth of 'realistic' racers. Surely wouldn't one developer (for example, Codemasters) realise- lets make Colin McRae Rally for Nintendo, there's no stiff competition so it's bound to sell.

..I was at the dentist today (wearing my Liverpool wrist band) and it turns out my dentist is Chelsea fan.. ..he said he was gonna hurt me on purpose :shock: ..in fairness, he wins.. got 3 injections (2 down the left side and one down the right) so my whole bottom lip is numb and I can't talk properly. I also can't really eat.. I'm really trying to have a cup-a-soup but having to take it very slowly with a small teaspoon or else it will dribble all over me ..and less of the arguing.. there's no need for it. We're in the final against AC Milan, Man United have the league (almost), Chelsea have the Carling Cup and both of those will fight it out for the FA Cup. Hardly a bad season for any of them (except Arsenal )

I haven't played it before.. but maybe Prince of Persia: Rival Swords is good? The Sands of Time was brilliant, Warrior Within has been pretty decent (though I haven't finished it). Maybe Rival Swords (or The Two Thrones, whatever you want to call it) is cool with the Wii controls? Never read anything about but could be pretty good going from past games.

Yeh, I've wondered this! I imagine everyone (well.. basically everyone) see's the same colours. But wouldn't it be weird if what you knew as green would be red to me or something. Madness I'm also interested in that sometimes when you just.. eat something.. or smell something and it instantly triggers something in your head that you remember. Though that isn't weird. Then there's just times when random thoughts would come into your head. Like there's times when, say, I am walking past someone in the town (a complete stranger) and say, if I punched him in the face for no reason, how would he react.? I wouldn't do it, but it would be so out of the blue. I'd love to be able to rewind time (like in Prince of Persia ). What I'm saying is: WHY would I think of that? What made my mind think of that?

I'm starting to get really tempted by this. Shall have to see if my brother is willing to split it half way, or even just pay a tenner of it for me. I was facing either £9 cash or £13 voucher.. and I took the voucher. The problem is that there was nothing in CeX which caught my eye that I would particularly want to get. The voucher expires on 8th May so I need to find something in the next few days or I'll probably be stuck with Sonic Riders and Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex Advance Wars for GBA is £8 but wouldn't be my cup of tea. GT Pro Series is £22 but don't really want it. There are a couple of Wii games (Wario or SSX Blur in the store) which I would maybe get but I can't as my girlfriend has got me a couple of Wii games for my birthday (yes, she is a wee star ) ..and I don't know what they are.. well.. apart from the fact sonic is one

..although the football might not have been great to watch at times, the match was made by the fact that it was resting on a knife edge for over 120 minutes and then into penalties. I don't really see the need for bickering in this thread.. Liverpool are through to the Champions League Final and fully deserve it in my opinion. Jose Mourinho is coming across as a very sore loser and saying that only Chelsea went out to win and that they were the better team last night seemed ridiculous. Just over a week ago I actually said to someone- I like Mourinho, he's good to watch. Since saying those words, my view has almost went to the other end of the spectrum. Trying to sway referees in his pre-match conferences.. taking digs at Liverpool.. I felt he got what he deserved last night. Rafa has a lot more class about him. Can't wait til May 23rd now (just over a week after my birthday aswell ). Hopefully will be given a late birthday present. Also, good luck to Man United tonight, would like to see them in the final. yeh.. I hear ya.. but get this: Bought it for £7.49.. took it into CeX today and (even though it isn't official) I walked out with a voucher for.. ... ...£13. Today is a victory.

..see.. I thought it would make text clearer but I tried it out in Tiger Woods where I was having trouble seeing some of the smaller text, but there wasn't any difference to any aspect of it, and if there was it certainly wasn't noticeable or worth the £7 I spent on it. I am going to take it into CeX today to see how much they would give me for trading it in (if it's possible) so hopefully I could get about the same amount back as I paid for it. The Official RGB Cable is worth £9 in cash to them or £12 for exchange. I assume I could get an exchange price of about £5-7 at least for this one (if not more, hopefully) There doesn't appear to be any mention of 3rd Party Cables on there though so perhaps they won;t take it.. but can't harm to ask! I'll be ok with the cable that came with my Wii, it's not too much of a problem anyway.

My RGB cable arrived this morning and I tried it out as soon as I got my hands on it. Worryingly, it didn't make a single bit of difference to the picture. Could this be to do with the TV or is it possible that if I open up the RGB cable I'll find that it is just the composite leads packed into a single (thickish) lead?

davidredge- very strange that cock was the exact word that first came to my mind.. hmm.. ..I think he looks to be exaggerating a wee bit.. I got a Classic Controller a couple of weeks ago and really like it for my SNES and Mega Drive games.. it really is very good for those (SNES in particular, unsurprisingly) I haven't got any games yetwhich require me to use both analogue sticks but I have sat and fiddles with them (as you do...) and I can't see myself having a problem. But then I have (probably) smaller than average male hands..

..oh how wrong you are I have only ever played the game in 4-player multiplayer (which was a hoot : peace: ) ..I enjoyed it a lot but I wasn't sure what the single player experience would be like as, I have to say, most of the time I have noone to play with This is why I'm tempted as the game is online and will mean I wouldn't have to play on my own nearly all the time.. but then I'm hungry for a 'proper' football game, and FIFA hasn't been good (for me) since FIFA 99/FIFA 2000.. ISS stopped being REALLY good with 98/2000 and, perhaps, ISS Pro Evolution 2 on the PlayStation. I have always had fun with Pro Evo/ Winning Eleven and I'm mainly just waiting for an announcement on that front. If I knew it wasn't coming out for Wii, I'd probably have no hesitation in snapping up Mario Strikers Charged.. I believe I will end up with it though if I can snap up a cheap copy from ebay or something

..I have never been into Spiderman but my girl wants to go see Spiderman 3 some time so I bought Spiderman (£3.97) and Spiderman 2 (£4) on DVD to watch at the weekend as well as Spiderman 1 & 2 for the Gamecube which should arrive in the next couple of days (together for £11.28 delivered)

I keep fluctuating between wanting this game and not caring! When it was announced to have online it made me sit up and take notice and then when the rumours of Pro Evolution Soccer came along I figured I would probably wait and see where everything stands with that.. but after watching that video I'm almost back to wanting Mario Strikers Charged again.. ..probably just end up waiting to see what happens with regards to announcements of other football games, I don't think I would rather wait til this game goes down in price.. but then again, it could be really brilliant.. arrgghhh : peace:

I am happy to say I already own almost all those games (apart from Pokemon and Yoshi's Story) and I love them all : peace: I may end up with Yoshi on the VC if it ever comes out, or I may buy the original N64 version in future.. The VC is generally a Mega Drive to me, though I have downloaded a couple of SNES games..

Aye.. I know darksnowman because we found out we went to the same uni and decided to have a bit of a duel on the DS. He's almost a worthy foe.. What was kinda strange though is that he is friendly with someone I knew from a few years ago and my cousin! Since then we've played some football.. some GC.. some DS.. there's just no beating him at Mario Football.. ..and then of course there's my darling magicbuttons (none of this My Button's are Magic nonsense ) She only came on here to check up on me (apparently ).. but hasn't found any dirt Then there's a few guys I talk to on the internet.. flameboy mainly.. had a few games of Winning Eleven DS with him in the League (which we have to resume!) and I've had a couple of games with RedShell and khilafah

These are the two I am most awating out of that list ..but for good reason: I have F-Zero X on the N64 (which rocks.. if you don't have it then it is well worth the purchase. Some cool music too ) Having said that, the other day I was just thinking about the track editor and all from the DD and actually wondered if there was a small chance this would be included. But then I thought more and it was.. yeh.. it's Nintendo.. not gonna happen
