I wasn't aware the Harvester was a chain. I always assumed it was just the name of the shitty pub which all the 18th birthday parties are held at because it's the only place crappy enough to willingly host them. I also am inclined to agree with this, which is why it really annoyed me when her ex-boyfriend showed up and proceeded to say something to her which got her upset the rest of the night.

Today I found out the deadline for my Computing project is Friday, and I have spent so much time tinkering with the programming that I haven't even started the 40page documentation. Yay. London Knee'rs: How much would a return ticket from Stansted Airport > Finsbury Park cost (Stansted > Tottenham Hale on the rail, Tottenham > Finsbury on the tube)? Or would I be better spending £10 more to get a flight to Gatwick instead and getting the tube from Gatwick > Finsbury?

The Reading lineup looks hella shit, so I doubt I'll be going this year.

Well I've been to about 10 gigs there, ABC1/2, The Garage/G2, and theres another I'm forgetting. Kelvinhaugh is a really nice building, the rooms are very modern and clean looking, theres loads of parking right out front for if I take my car through, and it's right in the middle of the train station and the Uni for if I don't.

Actually I've been told by a couple of friends who go there to avoid the Murano street halls. When I went to the open day I had a look around Kelvinhaugh, which seemed really nice, so I'll probably put that as my first choice. Plus, Kelvinhaugh is nearer to Sauchiehall Street, which I can see myself being at quite regularly for gigs and whatnot. I've not really spent all that much time in Glasgow, like I say Sauchiehall Street for gigs is about all I know. Oh, and Byers Road on the other side of the uni is where all the good pubs are at I've been told. But I'm looking forward to living there, my cousin is there, I'll be near enough to Parkhead to get in for the occassional game, and theres always something going on

Wtf. Apparently because I'm from Scotland I'm not I'm not allowed to watched the England game, but instead ITV give me Miss Congeniality. I mean ideally I'd be watching the Scotland match, but given thats not on terrestial I'd quite like to be given the opportunity to watch the game that is on a channel I get.

I have officially accepted my offer - As of September 2010 I will be a student of Theoretical Physics at Glasgow University. I is well excited innit. Just accepted it now even though the deadline for receiving offers isn't even past yet because I got all 5 back as unconditionals and I knew I wanted to go to Glasgow anyway. This way I can get accommodation application stuff in early and hopefully get my first choice hall.

Hmm. I just noticed it's July, not June... I don't think I'll be able to go then. Think I'm going away with a bunch of people that week. Wait and see, but for now I'm doubtful.

Is this by chance the same weekend as the Rage gig, cause if so I can come. If not, probably not, but stick me down as a maybe anyway.

You forgot to mention, this only applies when it is said to or by one of the pretty girls, or Rez.

Every now and then I come into this thread and just find myself utterly bewildered by the thing being discussed.

I'm betting there will be a good ending and a bad ending tbh, depending on how you do in the game. Similar to the way the end of 2 worked.

...I haven't ventured into this part of the forum for months, but I just saw the new trailer for this. It's the one and only reason I still have my Wii. I have to play this game.

Finished this today. The last two levels were fuck awesome. Good to see that the choice you make with the Little Sisters has a much bigger effect on the ending this time, though I was expecting some kind of repercussion for my decision on whether or not to kill a few people. Nice setup for a sequel also.

Maybe the other players know each other and were kicking you to make room for a friend?

Preacher curl I think its called. I love doing that one, right now I'm managing 3*10 with 30-35kg. It's one of those ones were you can progress really quickly, it's great.

Unless you get so far away that the individual photons of light have all come from distinct spots on the sphere - ie, so far away that the light will be barely detectable (so further away than any star that we know of) - then no.

Apparently there was 500,000+ registrations and only 70,000 tickets. We got ours on like, the 3rd refresh or something too. Luck was on our side! Edit: Just read that apparently it was only 40,000 tickets. So thats less than 1 in 12 chance of getting them..woot!
