Guess who got tickets to the Rage Factor gig this morning! So excited. Flights to london and back will cost more than a ticket would normally be, but meh. It's gonna be one hell of a gig. Plus, I'm seeing Pendulum about a week beforehand, so thats two of the best live bands around back to back.

I take this back. The exhaust fell off today Double post: Repair bill for the broken exhaust was a measly £30 and an hour of my life attaching the new one. Awesome! Plus, it is also now clean. There was a car underneath all that dirt afterall!

Tiberian Sun is one of my favourite games ever. Couldn't get it to run smoothly on my Win7 laptop though, might give the free download version a try just incase it might work.

My 206 is pretty awesome, other than the occassional collision with a tree it's been completely reliable.

The planet scanning was really annoying, felt like I was just grinding to get enough resources to afford an upgrade. Didn't see much point in it as a gameplay aspect. Also, there should have been more variations for each gun, and ones which meant a playstyle choice would actually matter (eg fire rate vs damage, clip size vs accuracy). Rather than just "hey heres the second pistol, its better than the first one" And it didn't really feel like the loyalty missions were side quests to me. I mean, they were on the main quest side of the journal for one thing. Other than that I agree with you.

I'm getting serious dejavu from the first hour of so of this game. That first zap of conveniently placed splicers, that first whack of something blocking the door, the small room I'm trapped in while splicers furiously fire at the glass... Not that I'm complaining. I'm quite happy to play Bioshock 1 again. Plus this time I don't know what to expect in the next room again.

Apparently my second run through disagrees with me and the Illusive Man refuses to give me the derelict ship mission even though I've recruited everyone. Well, Bioshock will be here tomorrow, so nevermind.

For the Warp/Incinerate ones, the skill has to be the thing that actually destroys the armor/barrier/whatever, so if you use it on one and it doesn't do enough damage to destroy it it won't add one to the tally for the achievement.

The Scottish engineer's voice annoys me so much. Its such an over exaggerated Scottish accent.
