Today I discovered this band.

So the roads are way, way too icey for it to be safe to drive. Especially on the small roads, streets etc. Not good when you delivery pizzas in the evening. I think I might have "car trouble" around about 5 this evening...

(yes its still the same girl, yes Im pathetic, yes I would prefer it to be different, yes I realise Im probably annoying everyone now, no i dont care) So was at the "winter wonderland" thing in edinburgh today with ze girl. Unfortunately there was another 15 schoolmates there also, but meh, time spent is time spent at this stage. Was quite good fun. She said something which reminded me of my Gran, and when I told her this she seemed far too annoyed by it. She also made some remark about people talking about "us". (I realise im overanalysing again, meh) She also was going on about wanting to buy some thing off a stall but not having the money, I considered buying it for her but figured it was too cheesy, especially with other people being there. If it had been a "date" type scenario I would have done though. I think she was angling to get me to buy it for her but lately I've been getting a bad feeling shes kinda using the fact I like her to get stuff, a lift home from work etc. So I didnt bother. Think she might have been annoyed about this, soon after she decided she wanted to leave. My mate was going on the same train so I decided to go with also. Ended up walking her home because otherwise she was walking alone at night in the snow. Awkward hug at the door. Because she only did it cause she felt she had to? Some other reason? Who knows. March back home in exactly the direction I came from, feel silly. Usual deal. Oh, and a couple of days ago I had a really bad evening where I was just thinking about her all evening. I felt better the next morning but then seeing at her school put me in a bad mood again and I went quite quiet the rest of the day. She noticed and came up trying to talk to me, asking what was wrong etc. When I wouldnt tell her she asked if it was something she had done, to which I noncommitally shrugged. She ended up sitting beside me and just talking about nothing in particular for about an hour, which was nice. Shame that she needs to be guilted into doing it, though. Meh once again. Again, I just don't understand what the problem is. It makes perfect sense to me. We're both a bit damaged and probably couldnt handle a normal relationship. We seem to get along ok. Perhaps she just feels she needs to be friendly because she knows how much I like her. I kinda wish she'd decide one way or the other and leave it at that. If I didnt have to see her everyday at school I'd have done something to tip it conclusively one way or the other. Lols, my grammar goes weird when I talk about her. Argh.

Is it just me who feels the GT demo thing is rubbish? The steering is odd, the default controls are stupid and the visuals aren't as good as I'd expect, even from a demo.

Disappointed by that line up. Was hoping for Davidson to get a drive for them. Should be a very mediocre season for them.

Basically the small scale Jeff uckley thing last year is what has started this one. It didn't help that there were 3 different versions of the song for sale on iTunes, or that some people were buying the Leonard Cohen version, or the Rufus Wainwright version, or whatever. I can see this being a bit closer, though I'm sure Xfactor will still win. -

So what was the sales figures on Xfactor single last year? If Facebook has 700,000 members I'd say expect sales of about 500,000. Is that enough? -

Ah, I get you. How common is that? Never heard of it before. Never really thought about whether it was a mechanical or electrical connection, really.

I don't get it, whats "fly by wiring"? Its pretty easy to tell from the sound an engine is making whether or not its heading towards stalling. If so, up the revs a little.

Easier way to know how high the revs need to be is just to listen to the engine.

What do you guys reckon is the best of these Douglas Adams quotes to put on my yearbook profile: I like that as a description of my social abilities, but dunno I think the first half makes it sound too arrogant. Generally awesome. Fun but dunno if its really suitable for what I'm using it for.

Got my first payslip from the new job and they are ripping me off...I was told at the interview 5.35 an hour + 80p per delivery petrol allowance. I got 5.00 an hour and 40p per delivery. Words shall be had on Saturday.

Trying to do my profile for my yearbook. It's impossible to choose one song as "favourite". Same with lyric. For songs, I currently have it down to one of the following: Muse - Hysteria Rise Against - Injection Brand New - Sic Transit Gloria mewithoutYou - Wolf Am I (And Shadow) Radiohead - Karma Police Silverstein - Already Dead Taking only one song from an artist and being really harsh on which artists to consider. HOW TO DO CHOOSE FROM THAT LIST? And don't even get me started on lyric. Why do people insist on categorising things into "favourite"?

It was on normal at first, but then I put it down to easy. I then get past the first group (only about half the time though) then get owned by the second before I have a chance to regen.

First day of my pizza delivery gig tonight. Was pretty good - beats working at the shopping center in crappy-shop-I-would-never-normally-go-into-#3, anyway. It's cool because it's really relaxed, I get to go out on my own, drive around at my own pace, only have one task to do at a time. No rushing around dealing with 10 things at once. If I want to take a 30second breather before I head back for another order I can, because nobody is around to shout at me. Plus the pays not bad, and I get petrol money, and I get to keep my tips (tip your delivery boy people!). PLUS! Now I don't feel so pathetic on the Friday and Saturday nights I'm not going out anywhere, because I can work them, and whenever I DO have something on, I can just ask to change the hours. Only downside is finding places, like if I don't know the street I need to memorise the route from the map in the place, and sometimes finding the right house number can be hard (particularly in the council estates, since I need to get out and wander about. Fun times at the rough places when I'm working in the evening). TL;DR - New job is awesome.

I suck at this game. I've only just become a Grey Warden, and am going up some tower or other to light a beacon. I've gotten inside, but I get wasted by the first group of bad guys in there every time. I can't work out what I'm doing wrong.
