The annoying thing about Scotland is that the last 2 campaigns we've been great for half of it. Latter part of the 08 qualifiers and first half of the last set we were easily good enough to qualify. We just can't keep it up for an entire campaign.

Don't understand what everyones problem is with the mako. Controls were fine, and it was kinda fun to drive about in on the missions it was used in. The planet exploration was a bit tedious, but that's not because of the mako.

Bit late now :p I'm loving it so far, but we'll see how it goes reliability wise.

I went to see Paranormal Activity tonight. It was freaking AWESOME. The film itself was pretty tense, and the reactions seemed very realistic most of the time, the characters interactions were good. There were a couple of quite funny moments too, but not in an out-of-place, tension breaking way. But the best part was the atmosphere in the theatre, a lot of whispering, gasps etc. The guy in front of us, when the footprints appeared, shouted "IT'S A DUCK!" I made my friend jump out of his seat just by grabbing his leg. My other friend jumped about a foot out of his chair at the end when the guy came towards the camera. It was just awesome, my favourite ever movie going experience.

Bad luck. Caught the end of them at Reading waiting for the next band. The leader singer is a banshee.

Links nao, I can't see it. On it's own it's showing up as £36, which I was gonna order. So if I can save £6 and get TDK on Blu-Ray for free, I'll be having some of that.

The risk is that over-exercising means you end up burning off the protein you need to grow the muscle. I'd say you should probably seperate the workouts - do Cardio 2 days a week and weights the other 3, alternating.

I found myself laughing a few times actually, I quite enjoyed it.

My day...hmm Fairly average day at school. The school chaplain tried to rope me into helping him with his bullshit but hopefully nothing will come of it. Sorted out my personal statement and my projects for Physics and Computing. (the computing project is a space invaders game, only instead of aliens and spaceships, it's Chico from the XFactor shooting farmyard animals with a laser that comes out of his fingertip. It's working title is "Chico Defends The Farm") Went to a Physics lecture after school with teachers and friend. Fairly sure it was aimed at post grad students. I got about half of it, but only due to personal research / reading. My friend didn't get it at all. New laptop arrived. It's awesome. Haven't had a chance to let it flex it's muscles yet but I'll get Dragon Age installed tomorrow and see what it's capable of. Loving it so far though. Question: Who here believes in superstition? I don't, but I did have a bet with the universe today and the universe let me win. I kinda want to read something into it, but the scientific part of my brain is stronger than the faith part and won't let me. It's kinda like when you're playing cards, you hold it in your hand and hope it's an Ace before you actually turn it over. It makes no difference, but you do it anyway. Hmm. I can't believe I'm even considering this out loud. I'm a Scientist, it's all bullshit. But at the same time, as a scientist I want there to be a way of determining something by asking a question of the world and getting an answer. So I want to believe it, but I know I can't. I don't believe in the whole "it's a sign, I should make this decision" bullshit. I'm rambling and that probably doesn't read the way I intended it, but nevermind. I'm tired and my brain was melted earlier at the lecture.

Depends what you're working. If you're bringing it infront of your face, you'll want them narrow, if you're bringing it behind, you'll want a wide grip.

Today I picked my nail too short and now its all bleedy and stuff. I do not approve. Is it sad that my day was less good today because I only saw the awesome girl once and didn't really spend any time with her? Should that really be a downer on my day? I'm lame.

Some games (AC2, UC2, Demon's Souls, GoW1&2) Some books (H2G2, Clarkson) Some clothes (my sister has better taste than me) Basically, the same as every other year for the last 5 years.

Think it depends on the kind of business. If a nuclear power plant was suddenly built in the middle of a village I'm pretty sure that would affect the local environment.

So I'm probably getting a job delvering Pizza's. Figured it would be a good job for me, keeps the weekends free since I'll be doing it in the evenings mostly, good excuse to drive the car, and less awkward work-small talk that I hated at my last job. Just be me in my car with some tunes going. Only problem is, I'll need to learn my way around Hopefully they give me a sat nav or something, else I'll have to nick my sisters.

The 1000 doesnt have such a good screen etc, but it can be custom firmware'd so it's probably worth it anyway. If you're not intending on firmwareing it you might find someone willing to swap for a 2000 or 3000. In fact I might consider it, I have a late model 2000 that is resistant to CFW.

Drama doesn't necessarily stop me from being lonely though :p But yes, I suppose having something to feel shit about and mull over is better than simply having nothing going on whatsoever. Though when I get one of those days where I just feel really crap about everything I would disagree. There is the occassional day of hope though too, so I guess it evens out. The short version of it currently is that me and my best friend both like the same girl. He asked her out, she turned him down, he thinks that was because she likes me, but I don't think she likes me, but she might, but nothing could happen there now anyway because then I would be breaking the bro code. I might use the Scrubs version of the bro code, that has a time limit for getting out of it. It's been far too long.

The difference is, Liverpool are playing in the EPL. Celtic are in the SPL. And we like to think of ourselves as one of the top teams in Europe?
