I think I started Yakuza 4 of them on PS3 years ago (I might even have a physical copy somewhere) but never played more than 20 minutes. No idea why. Probably because it's not the beginning of the story. I guess Zero is basically the start of the entire saga?

Time well spent, I assume?

God of War sold 3.1m copies in three days Impressive. And well deserved.

I don't think you need to win a lot to enjoy it. For me most of the enjoyment comes from adapting to the situations you find yourself in which in turn makes you better. I have to improve my building skills. Most of the time when it's 1v1 at the end I lose because I can't build fast/precise enough. I've gotten better over the past few days, but still need a lot more practise.

As I did with Rocket League, I have now paid money for Fortnite Battle Royale. I got both games for free (well, Rocket League with PS+, which - technically - isn't "free") and got so much enjoyment out of them (and with Fortnite BR I will get more over the next few weeks) so I decided I'd give the devs something back. Bought the Battle Pass which opens up a variety of challenges you can complete and lots of cool cosmetic stuff if you level up enough. I figured that buying this for 10 bucks is much better than buying one or two items for the same amount. As I mentioned, this is the second time I used money for "microtransactions" or "cosmetic items" but in these cases the devs deserve it. The amount of effort that they put into those games is astounding.

It's a good game, but as it is with basically every Shmup: there's little skill involved. If you put in the time to memorize enemy and bullet patterns it's really easy, since they never change. A game to buy when it's on sale on the PSN store, maybe.

Could have, should have, would have. I was pissed for a couple of minutes. Now I'm calm again. Still...what a stupid performance in both legs
-
Well deserved. Just as last year we gifted it to Madrid.
-
Why, WHY did we have to concede another stupid goal... Edit: Fuck everything. Back to video gaming I go
-
Nope, once you set it to Give Me God of War it can't be changed. Only the lower three can be changed at any time.

Started the game again on Give Me a Story and after the first fight I increased it again to the second to highest (Give Me a Challenge). The lowest difficulty is really easy... I also decided to leave the HUD on. During my first playthrough I turned it off completely except for gameplay notifications. Yeah...someone should've told me that the off-screen enemy indicator is a life saver. Good lord, I made this game even more difficult than it was by turning that setting off Anyway, looking forward to playing this again going for 100% completion

Most important game of the season so far for us tonight. I'm not very optimistic. I think Real will be very clever today and beat us 3-0. A little hope is still there, though...

Well..I'm really interested in Norse mythology now. I find it much more interesting than Greek mythology (at least from what I've experienced with God of War).

Credits rolled. Nothing more to add. In my eyes, this game is a masterpiece. One of the greats in video game history. I'm still sitting here, my jaw on the floor...unbelievable. Will I go for the Platinum? Most definitely. Will I start again on a lower difficulty? Probably. While I really enjoyed playing on Give Me God of War, I think the post-game stuff is a little unbalanced (as far as I've experienced just now). Even certain parts in the "story path" were unbalanced with enemies one-hit-killing you; something I hate in video games. But here I never got frustrated because the fighting mechanics are just so much fun Pretty sure I'd get frustrated with the post-game fights, though. Anyway.

No idea if it was the following you were talking about, but that gif was me during... Unbelievable.

Well...the game is now trying to annoy me. Serves me right for choosing the highest difficulty. Edit: DID IT. I'm the best. I think this is supposed to be end-game, or maybe even post-game stuff.

Congrats Keep it going! Yesterday's workout: Squats 5x5 with 67.5kg Bench Press 4x5 and 1x4 with 50kg Pendlay Row 5x5 with 42.5kg Today: Deadlift 5x5 65kg Shoulder Press 3x5 and 2x4 with 35kg (I keep stalling at this weight...which is not surprising at my level, but it's still a little annoying) And did some curls I feel great. Managed to eat some more over the past few days and I think I can keep this up. Just ordered a pizza because I deserve (yes, yes I do ) and crave one I'm gaining weight. Probably a little more fat than muscle but who cares. As long as I get stronger it's all good. Burning fat can come later.

All of these have been put on hold since I got God of War. And I'm taking my sweet time with it. of my on volition...not because the game is hard as shit Bought Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc for my Vita. Was in the mood for a visual novel kinda game and this is currently on sale (7€). Played a little this morning and it got me intrigued immediately. Something to play when I'll visit my hometown next weekend

Very comforting to know that you love us even though you can't feel your fucking hands.

I don't see the issue with all the patches. They're small and provide fixes. Decided to finally do some sidequests. They are still not easy even though I'm quite well equipped. I think on a lower difficulty setting these quests would be easy as hell with my equipment But I'm enjoying the challenge, except:

Shadow of the Tomb Raider ( 14th Sept 2018 )

Thanks for the easy choice. The definite edition for cheap in 2-3 years -
Emmanuel Macron will be in town to receive The International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen in 1 1/2 weeks. Going to attend a discussion forum with him, Timothy Garton Ash and fellow students to talk about Macron's vision for a European University and the importance of education and science. I probably won't get involved directly (i.e. ask questions/talk) because I'm not really politically involved but I'm looking forward to the discussion.
