I know it sucks for a 1v1 round but I might not make it on Saturday. I'll be in my hometown visiting my family. Depending on our plans I won't be able to take part. Sorry

Just watched Simulation Theory by Muse. Love it It's a Muse concert with even more special effects. The audio mix is astounding. But that's expected when it comes to Muse.

Anyways, buy the Skull & Co Grip and you'll never get cramps again.

Been playing Valkyria Chronicles Remastered on PS4 for a few hours. I enjoy it. The actual gameplay is great. Strategy is definitely key, RNG can fuck you up really bad, though. The rest of the game is kinda weird, though. You spend 80% of your time in menus but most of it is just choosing the next cut scene. Speaking of which: Chapters are split into episodes and you have to actually select every single one in order to view their respective cut scene. Why not have all cut scenes show in one go? Would've been a much smoother experience. Then there's the RPG elements. They seem very bare bones and I struggle to see why they're even there. Maybe (hopefully) it'll become more complex, but I don't think it will. Anyways, currently at chapter 7 and the story just kicked into next gear so I think I'm almost at the half way point. Edit: And the Chapter 7 mission ruins my enjoyment. Just with the Fire Emblem games...reinforcements arrive and you couldn't predict where on the battlefield they appear. It gets worse: That reinforcement (or rather one single unit) was able to kill 6 (!) of my units in one turn. And no, it wasn't because my units were positioned badly. It was because that single enemy unit was able to run around the entire map and deal a shit ton of damage. Took me about 20 minutes to reach that point and now the mission is unwinnable. The thing is...now that I know what to do, it'll most likely be very easy. But throwing a curve ball in the middle of a mission is always something that'll annoy me to no end in games. It's like giving me a puzzle and some time to solve it, but half way through you take what I've done, throw it against the wall, cut off one of my arms, add another puzzle piece and spit in my face. Edit²: And I'm out. The game just stops being fun after a while. Too much RNG (it rivals the XCOM games...).

My doctor's recommended running pause is over and I needed new running shoes so I ordered these: Hope they'll fit. If not, I'll send them back

Now that I've woken up every sleeping neighbour with my screams and cheers and calmed down a bit... Very interesting final. Entertaining 'til the very last minute. Both teams had chances, Coman used his and considering everything...we deserved that win. Neuer has been a class above the rest this season. Unbelievable performance today. Very happy for Lewy. He may not have scored today but he has been absolutely incredible the entire season. And Flick...what a guy He turned this team around. Not sure if I can go to sleep now.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

Can't keep my heart rate down I'm excited but sooooooo nervous. Really hope we don't change our philosophy, but we should definitely not defend as high as in the last two games. Keeping the pressure up will be crucial, though.

Nah, this way I managed to get a few points.

I'm sorry, but Limit Texas Hold'em is the worst card game in existence. Hoping for games that aren't entirely luck based next week

Another disconnection

@Glen-i no, I will not

So it'll start in 90 minutes? Just to be clear 'cause I always confuse time zones...

To be fair...BotW doesn't have a story

I've been a Bachelor student in Molecular Biotechnology for way too long (7 years...) now. I plan to get my Bachelor's degree next summer and start my Master's after that. We'll see how that'll work out. For now I'm happy to be able to work on my thesis soon
-
Got the topic for my Bachelor's thesis. Well, a general idea behind the topic, the exact wording needs to be figured out. Going to work with plant viruses and try to assess whether it's possible to "clean them up" in a cheaper manner than ultracentrifugation (which is very expensive). I'll be able to start working on that in October

One of my friend's cats had to be put to sleep I've taken care of their cats a few times in the last few years so they have a place in my heart. Gonna miss that cute little furball.

Once you get the wistle, Yoku's Island Express goes from a 10/10 to a 15/10.
-
That was a lot of work...but in the end a deserved win. Gotta step it up again for Sunday night. But I'm sure the team will learn from today and get the confidence back up again. And now I'm going to be nervous until the final
-
Alrighty, getting nervous again It's going to be quite the semi final tonight. Hopefully we won't defend as high up as we did against Barca. Lyon has a very strong defense and their counterattacks are dangerous.

Sorry Cat Quest but The hand-holding is insane. I'd recommend this game for kids to have a nice intro to (action)RPGs but for everyone else it's not worth the money. Thankfully I've only spent 1,60€ on it.

Sign me up for Hades, Torchlight III, Manifold Garden and Grindstone. I'll probably get some of them on PS4 (assuming they also release on that console). The rest...meh -
The thing is, they know they don't need to do more. There's so little coming out that even mediocre games sell a shit ton because people are starving for games. For me, however, this sucks because I'm not interested in these games and the big hitters are years away. I agree with you that Nintendo should at least show something, even if the games won't be with us for a year or two.

Pretty cool
