  1. This was the first showcase. Will be difficult to top that, to be honest.
  2. My only real expectation is price and release date (+ pre-order dates). Other than that...nothing, really. The last showcase was so amazing, it's going to be difficult to even come close to that. Anything we haven't seen before will be great Still wondering, whether I can even afford a PS5 at launch, though. Probably only if I sell my PS4 Pro.
  3. Yeah, the story is...not good, to say the least Gameplay is fine, I really liked it but everything else about the game is...urgh. And you gave the reason for that: Versus XIII was announced back in 2006 (!), so if we take that it'll be 14 years. 14 years! The name change to FFXV happened in 2013, if I recall correctly.
  4. Medieval setting, turn based combat, better characters and story than FFXV (which should be freaking easy as hell) That's all. What about you?
  5. That's fair. But still...PLAY IT NOW!
  6. Drop whatever you're doing. NOW. And then start up FFX. Gogogogogogo.
  7. You've never played FFX? Also: You should go for the optional super boss in FFIX
  8. Amazon.de dispatched my copy...without tracking... Ladies and gents, last time you did this, my copy never arrived. Granted, that was 4 years ago, but still...you're better than this. Finger's crossed that it'll arrive this time. I doubt I could get a replacement copy thanks to Nintendo's bs.
  9. Some more (new) games would be nice, though.
  10. HEY! I was first Both have Dixie as a playable character, right?
  11. Rumour has it that one game is set to make an appearance tonight:
  12. Rumours are that a new Monster Hunter game will be announced... WHY? After Monster Hunter World the series should stay away from handhelds forever
  13. If you're not getting tired of me, I'm in Is DKC2 the one that got a Game Boy version? Edit: Nevermind, I think I'm confusing it with Donkey Kong Land 2. By the way, I've never played a Donkey Kong game on SNES. Well...I started them all but never finished them.
  14. Yeah, I've been expecting quite a lot of leaks, given what we've seen in recent weeks. Guess Sony has nothing worthwhile to show. They're doomed. Pack up, boys. Watch how this will come to haunt me tomorrow
  15. I'm by no means a Spelunky expert. I never finished the first one (only played it for a few hours). But I can say: Spelunky 2 KICKS. MY. ASS. And I love it. It's beautifully difficult. So much fun to figure out how to approach...well...everything. Managed to reach 2-2 (yay!) and died because I found a challenge and tried to be sneaky by circumventing a certain limit with a bomb. Welp...turns out you shouldn't do that And finally we get a game that is actually a roguelike and not a roguelite
  16. Source Just FYI.
  17. Haven't played this as much as I wanted to, but will definitely put in more time tonight. Did 6 runs and only once did I reach 2-1 Spelunky 2 is relentless. And adding to that, I've played too recklessly. Need to be much more careful.
  18. If they really sell all of those by March...colour me impressed All these rumours, predictions and leaks are nothing to me right now. I just want to see the 40 minute video tomorrow...
  19. Out now on PS4, coming to PC on September 29th. As one of the two huge roguelike/roguelite games to spark an entire armada of releases, the original Spelunky has been regarded as a pretty much perfect game for a decade. Secrets have been discovered, speedruns have been crushed, players have been destroyed. As of today, we get to experience the highly anticipated sequel and if we are to believe reviewers, then this installment is nothing short of a masterpiece. I bought the game this morning and just had my first run. It was yet another display of my amazing skills.
  20. No idea which came first, but yeah it's a remaster.
  21. @Julius That OST truly is incredible. You have still two more tracks left. My favourite ones of FFIX By the way, which version are you playing? The original or the "remaster"?
  22. Well...there really was no way around it. I think this is a nice game to play in between sessions of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and whatever comes after that. Gonna start my first run soon
  23. There it is: It popped exactly at midnight And I didn't even know that this would be my... ...77th Platinum. As I mentioned before: Some trophies were straight up annoying to get. But it was worth it. This game deserved my time and I just had to get all the meaningless, digital cups. Hard Mode was intense at times. I died three times overall. Not once during what's supposed to be the most difficult battle. But I did die during the final fight. Oh boy... Final Fantasy VII Remake I'll say it again: A spectacular re-imagining of a classic that revolutionized JRPGs. Quite literally every single aspect of this remake captures the original and builds upon it to create something that is both new and old. A perfect mix of nostalgia and fresh experiences. For me, two moments - or rather fights stood out. (obviously spoilers ahead).
  24. Can I just say: The biggest bs in SMB3 are the doors which, when you exit them, put you on a conveyor belt with lava beneath you. Usually I don't panic in video games, but this shit, man...
