  1. The PS4 is still not done, my friends Edit: And I started a new page, leaving @Julius' post behind
  2. Only announcement I need. (I'd take a gazillion rogue-lite announcements, too, though )
  3. Just checked out some trailers. Is the first game worthwhile?
  4. And I deserved each and every one of those wins. I carried a few team games, I played perfectly in most other rounds and I didn't make a single mistake in either of the 5 finals Phew. Now I can finally play the game.
  5. Ordered a pair of these. Really hope they fit so I don't have to send them back and order a new pair. I'm lazy
  6. Apparently milking and rehashing everything they've done before. Thank God for the thriving indie scene on Switch, otherwise I'd have huge buyers remorse with this console.
  7. Yeah, @Ashley, did you? LEAK SOMETHING!
  8. Oh look, another port.
  9. Ended my Fallguys session yesterday with 20 crowns Still haven't gotten the 5 wins in a row, though. Anyways, won 5 more crowns just now. Had a great Hex-a-Gone final in which I pretty much knocked out the remaining 4 people by planning ahead and executing that plan perfectly. 3 of those people were friends...were, given how much they screamed at me
  10. What a match. Lyon won that one with heart and quite a bit of luck. City couldn't bring their potential to the pitch. Gonna be very interesting semi-finals.
  11. Have played this for a few hours today with two mates. I won 12 crowns Yes, I'm bragging
  12. YES Aside from 10-15 minutes spread out over the match, this was a great performance. Gotta keep this up for (hopefully) the remaining two matches.
  13. His first season as a starter for us. He's been one of the very best in the league, probably one of the top 3 defenders in Europe right now. And he's 19 (maybe 20 now, not sure). I love him
  14. I love Davies. Still nervous, though.
  15. Phew. Time to take a breather. No concentration in the first 10 minutes. Thankfully the equalizer and the following chance by Messi woke us up. After that...domination. Great tactical display and very disciplined performance by each and everyone of our players. "Just" gotta keep this up. Oh and...the main ref is horrible. Then again, I was spoiled by a great referee performance yesterday.
  16. Aaaand just got an email that the lady in charge already planned with me Gotta meet with her soon to talk out the details (topic, when I'll start, and all that jazz). Today is a good day.
  17. Looks like I'll be able to start working on a Bachelor thesis next semester. I've now reached the required credit points to start. Managed to leave quite a positive impression with an institute at our university (it's the institute for Molecular Biotechnology) during a seminar. I asked beforehand if they got a topic to work with and the person responsible told me that she could find one for me. There's still the possibility that Covid-19 fucks it all up, though. Fingers crossed that it won't. Anyways, I still have quite a few exams to pass so even if I can start working on my thesis I won't be done for a while. Gonna take me one more year to get a degree (don't ask me how long I've been a Bachelor student ).
  18. Depends on where exactly I was going. In busy streets I wore a mask, but usually I found alleys where I could keep quite a distance to others
  19. Good lord, it gets worse. Quests (side or main) are pretty much: "Here's the story, here's where you have to go. Go there, do this, go here, do that. Quest done, next quest..." Maybe it's more for kids. Which isn't a bad thing inherently. It seems to be a nice game to get kids into RPGs. It's just too easy and too hand-holdy for me. Recently I also bought Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Deluxier Edition on Switch. Never had any experience with DnD or Pen and Paper RPGs, so it was a little weird at first. The game kind of simulates a DnD session (I assume) but as a solo experience. So far, it's quite interesting. Will see how it'll hold up after a few hours. Aaaaaand my mate and I started Ghost Recon Breakpoint yesterday. Did the first few missions and it's good old co-op fun Plays similar to Ghost Recon Wildlands which is not a bad thing. We loved that game. Breakpoint has a few bugs, but nothing game breaking (so far). Other than that: It's fun. We'll spend lots of time with this. Wildlands took us about a year to finish (and get the Platinum) so we all know where this is headed
  20. Oh boy, I'm so nervous We're in top form but as you said: Barca can take on anyone on a good day.
  21. Not out on PS4, it seems.
  22. Well deserved I play a few rounds everyday and it's still always a joy Managed to win Hex-a-Gone last night against two friends. We were the last three. Grabbed one of them, he fell down and screamed at me. And with some incredible movement on my part I managed to cut of my other mate's path and he had nowhere to go. He also screamed at me First patch should be out today. It'll add a new final game and fix some issues (but not broken friendships ).
  23. @Julius All fair points regarding the controller. Finances, mostly. I'm not in a position to save money, so it all comes down to how much the PS5 will cost and if I can trade in my PS4 Pro to reduce the price. Sony themselves (or rather their first party studios) don't need to do more. The big PS5 event a few weeks ago showed everything I wanted. I came in with the knowledge (given PlayStation launches in the past) that first party launch games won't be a big part of their plan so I'm fine with that. And with Sony's incredible track record in the last decade (turning around their PS3 fiasco and just rocking the show with the PS4 - which, by the way, is still selling like hot cakes...absolutely insane) I know what I can expect. The first two years are already stacked (assuming there won't be lots of delays) and it can only get more crowded. There's only a few things I'd like to see: PS5's OS more information regarding third party accessories (would love to know whether I'll be able to use my headset and controller) - that's something for the respective companies, though, not Sony a few more indie devs focusing on developing a game for the new console
  24. Source Fuck you, then
  25. To be fair, if you forget to charge the controller...that's on you I can understand the convenience argument, but still: If you play 10 hours during the day/evening without needing a charge (as is possible with the DS4) and charge it over night, you're golden. I think it's a little different for smartphones, though. You use those for way longer periods of time than gaming controllers. If my smartphone only lasted 10 hours I'd be pissed (then again, I wouldn't have bought it). Anyways, I get it's more convenient but I still don't see it as a problem. My point is: Don't be lazy twats and charge your damn controllers Yeah, aside from the price POINT, this is the only thing I need to see. There's so much room for improvement on those fronts...but I'm convinced they've put enough resources into it. At least into their OS.
