  1. Watched the Middleditch & Schwartz special on Netflix. Haven't laughed this hard in ages Their improv skills are off the chains.
  2. Well, that was unnecessary. Chuffed about the Cadence DLC, though. Will get the complete package next year on a sale then.
  3. Do I need to play the previous games to enjoy/understand the story or are they independent from each other?
  4. Maybe. I wouldn't know. Usually I send my carrier pigeon to the admins. They then just post the note attached to the bird on here. Every hour I get a letter back and then I get to decide whom (who? I hate this) I'll answer.
  5. Day 18 - Minigame Tetra Master from Final Fantasy IX. I spent an unholy amount of time with this card game back in the day. Day 19 - Melee Combat Soul Calibur 2. Maybe the best fighting game in existence. Day 20 - Saddest Moment The Last of Us. Those who played it will know what I mean.
  6. I'm going to play this in "fuck off with MTX mode"
  7. Well... I drank way too much
  8. Decided to go out tonight. First time since March. Will go to a cocktail bar with a few friends and just enjoy the ride Interesting times indeed.
  9. I'm with @Mandalore on this: Best Racing Game F-Zero GX
  10. I won't take part this month, so not sure if I should vote. If you need a vote, I'd choose The Messenger without hesitation.
  11. Pff, why does it always have to be the Bavarian/Oktoberfest style when there are German bars in other countries North Rhine-Westphalian cuisine is much better For example: Potato fritter/pancake Or Sauerbraten We also have much tastier beer Anyways, there is an amazing burger place in my hometown (Mönchengladbach). I'm actually going there on Saturday. It's called Rabbit Hole. A little on the expensive side but my goodness, the burgers are delicious. They also have custom made spicy mayonnaise which is sooooo good. I'll probably get the Yam Burger on Saturday:
  12. Oh I see, I misunderstood the issue, then. Thanks for clearing it up
  13. Not something any of you will ever get to visit (I live in Germany, as most of you know ) but there's an awesome "kind of fast-food" restaurant in Aachen called AKL. I say "kind of" because it's all fresh ingredients, but made quickly Take-away or sit down inside the restaurant itself (it's quite small) or you can take a seat in the bar next door. It's a great concept: Order food, go to the bar and order drinks. Enjoy both. They make Lebanese food: That sauce you see on the bottom right plate? It's the best sauce I've ever had. I can't describe the taste, as it's quite unique and I haven't tasted anything like that. Anyways...I'll probably just go there today because I haven't been there in ages
  14. My favourite track: It's brutal and fits perfectly to the hell you're unleashing on...well...hell. Shame that apparently Bethesda didn't allow Mick Gordon to mix and record all tracks for the sequel. I've not played it, but listened to the OST and the songs are great, but man...they could've been so much more if Mick Gordon actually recorded instead of "just" composing (composed? English grammar, man...) them. Edit: I was wrong
  15. It's VLR, then. Most Interesting Collectibles Easy: Horizon Zero Dawn.
  16. Oh shit, how could I not think of this one... I'm gonna have to change my vote...It's the Nonary Games trilogy all the way
  17. Well...watched the final three episodes... My feelings were confirmed: I didn't like it very much. The series is very well made. Great acting, wonderful cinematography, the choice of music is amazing, intriguing characters, an idea that is soooooo my thing. The plot development was not for me, though. At least from S2 onward. That one twist... Edit: In case the question "what ending/resolution would you have liked" arises:
  18. Best Story Bioshock Infinite - it's just amazing (the gameplay not so much, but the plot...I enjoyed it immensely when I played it) Nope. It's the Nonary Games Trilogy
  19. Finished the first dungeon. Took me about 70-80 minutes. The puzzles are no joke. If they get more difficult in the future I should expect some nice brain teasers. The boss kicked my ass three times, but then I've gotten used to the fact that dashing wasn't as useful as simply running away from its attacks. Overall: An amazing dungeon with cool puzzles (I guess later on there will be just variations/more complex puzzles incorporating the mechanics that are available to me; which is fine by me) and a challenging boss. Unlocked the first element, and yes, combat got more varied Spent a few more minutes finding/opening all the chests I've missed. Now it's time to move on.
  20. Insta-fail stealth sections? Absolute no-go.
  21. Phew, the Switch version suffers from some serious FPS drops once you get a few upgrades (more bullets, etc.). Turns the game into a slideshow from time to time. And there's a pet that flies around you which can block your own bullets. If you have exploding bullets you hurt yourself so freaking much Gotta pay attention, once it hatches out of an egg. I'm loving the game, though. Beat one "major boss" which opened up new levels. Also unlocked a few items/mechanics. The rogue-lite mechanics in this game are great
  22. And you haven't played it, yet? You are a madman
  23. Phew, gonna be tough to remember all the bands I've seen at the three festivals I've been to...The bold bands/musicians I've also seen live on one (or more) of their tours A = Alt-J, Alligatoah (a German rapper) B = Billy Talent C = D = Disturbed E = Enter Shikari, Ellie Goulding, Editors F = Florence and the Machine G = Gossip H = I = IAMX J = Jay-Z K = Kate Nash L = Limp Bizkit M = Muse, Maroon 5 N = Nothing But Thieves O = One Republic P = Placebo, Peter Fox (German singer), Papa Roach, Parov Stelar Band Q = R = Rage Against the Machine, Rise Against, Rammstein S = Shinedown, Slipknot, Serj Tankian, Scars on Broadway T = The Toxic Avenger, Thirty Seconds to Mars U = V = Viza W = X = Y = Z = I've seen Muse live 5 times now, Rise Against four times (back when I was a young lad), Disturbed and Billy Talent 3 times. This year I'll hopefully see IAMX for the fourth time. If Nothing But Thieves do a tour for their upcoming album, I'll definitely try to see 'em again, too. They are amazing.
  24. Well, it's the biggest reason, but not the only one. Why not go with "fought a shark...you should see its scar"?
