It's 15 °C, gloomy, rainy and windy here. Feels like autumn already and I love it Really hope summer doesn't have a huge comeback later in September. I want temperatures to drop.

Caught up on the event and my goodness what a waste of time watching it must've been.

It's probably for the best if you host. My internet is a bit shoddy when it comes to uploading and hosting stuff. I should probably learn the rules for Dots and Boxes and Renegade

I actually pushed through for a while and it gets better. As expected: That one mission was piss easy knowing that reinforcements arrive Anyways, I still put Valkyria Chronicles Remastered on hold. In other news: I borrowed Final Fantasy VII Remake from my sister's boyfriend. Played it for 4 hours and it's so fucking good. First of all: It's drop-dead gorgeous. And the music...OHHHHH THE MUSIC. Wonderful. Then there's the battle system: It's very action-y but still kind of plays like a traditional JRPG, i.e. you can't dodge everything so you still take damage and have to pay attention to HP and heal accordingly. It's brilliant. Also bought Cadence of Hyrule (and the season pass) so I can finally play one of my most wanted games Only played it for an hour but I've reached the first temple. So far so good.

That was me And I agree, it's such an unfair (and also unnecessary) way to increase the difficulty Like in Pokémon games...every time you fight in an arena and you get a Pokémon down to low HP: BOOM, here's the ultra-mega-potion to fully heal.

@S.C.G (and the others), sorry for getting touch this late, the weekend was quite busy. I'd be up for our games tonight, if that's ok with you. 8pm would be perfect for me (I think that's 7pm for you?).

I was interested in the opening show but now we already know about a gazillion games that will be shown...why not keep it under wraps? Anyways, will catch up on the news later tonight as I'm busy.

They arrived, seem to fit. I haven't been able to run with them, yet, 'cause I got some horrible blisters from other shoes The running shoes came with a slight blemish, though. Managed to get 60% of the buying price back (I now technically paid 17€). Also got the option to send them back to get the remaining money refunded, but I think I'll take the risk and use 'em until they break down completely (that blemish is at the left shoe's tongue; there's a slight tear in the seam - it might not be much, but running shoes are under more strain than other shoes so we'll see whether they'll wear down more quickly).

Yeah, this was unnecessary. No wonder it got shadow dropped...

I know it sucks for a 1v1 round but I might not make it on Saturday. I'll be in my hometown visiting my family. Depending on our plans I won't be able to take part. Sorry

Just watched Simulation Theory by Muse. Love it It's a Muse concert with even more special effects. The audio mix is astounding. But that's expected when it comes to Muse.

Anyways, buy the Skull & Co Grip and you'll never get cramps again.

Been playing Valkyria Chronicles Remastered on PS4 for a few hours. I enjoy it. The actual gameplay is great. Strategy is definitely key, RNG can fuck you up really bad, though. The rest of the game is kinda weird, though. You spend 80% of your time in menus but most of it is just choosing the next cut scene. Speaking of which: Chapters are split into episodes and you have to actually select every single one in order to view their respective cut scene. Why not have all cut scenes show in one go? Would've been a much smoother experience. Then there's the RPG elements. They seem very bare bones and I struggle to see why they're even there. Maybe (hopefully) it'll become more complex, but I don't think it will. Anyways, currently at chapter 7 and the story just kicked into next gear so I think I'm almost at the half way point. Edit: And the Chapter 7 mission ruins my enjoyment. Just with the Fire Emblem games...reinforcements arrive and you couldn't predict where on the battlefield they appear. It gets worse: That reinforcement (or rather one single unit) was able to kill 6 (!) of my units in one turn. And no, it wasn't because my units were positioned badly. It was because that single enemy unit was able to run around the entire map and deal a shit ton of damage. Took me about 20 minutes to reach that point and now the mission is unwinnable. The thing is...now that I know what to do, it'll most likely be very easy. But throwing a curve ball in the middle of a mission is always something that'll annoy me to no end in games. It's like giving me a puzzle and some time to solve it, but half way through you take what I've done, throw it against the wall, cut off one of my arms, add another puzzle piece and spit in my face. Edit²: And I'm out. The game just stops being fun after a while. Too much RNG (it rivals the XCOM games...).

My doctor's recommended running pause is over and I needed new running shoes so I ordered these: Hope they'll fit. If not, I'll send them back

Now that I've woken up every sleeping neighbour with my screams and cheers and calmed down a bit... Very interesting final. Entertaining 'til the very last minute. Both teams had chances, Coman used his and considering everything...we deserved that win. Neuer has been a class above the rest this season. Unbelievable performance today. Very happy for Lewy. He may not have scored today but he has been absolutely incredible the entire season. And Flick...what a guy He turned this team around. Not sure if I can go to sleep now.

Can't keep my heart rate down I'm excited but sooooooo nervous. Really hope we don't change our philosophy, but we should definitely not defend as high as in the last two games. Keeping the pressure up will be crucial, though.

I'm sorry, but Limit Texas Hold'em is the worst card game in existence. Hoping for games that aren't entirely luck based next week
