Hmm you lost me there, I'll just be quiet then. : peace: True, but every time you enter the e-mail of someone who buys something off Shopto into a refer box you get £1. So if everyone used Shopto and recommended each other they would be laughing. Shame they won't. :/
-
Yeh but looking at Metal Gear Solid 4, it's 2 quid more expensive on GAME than shopto, yet you get £2 in reward points. So sometimes it seems like you might be getting something juicy, but it's just made up for by the price.
-
GAME are pretty laughable. The reward card costs money?! Absolutely barmy. Not to mention that the small amount of money you get in points hardly makes up for their overpriced games anyway.
-
You can get whichever of the loans you want, or none. I didn't get one so I don't know much about it.

Yeh, they really are absolute idiots. Lee is clearly an idiot, but the public like him. Lucinda has unbelievably got praise from some people here, despite having absolutely nothing going for her as well as her just being generally annoying. Claire is also a huge idiot, with absolute garbage negotiation skills, and a huge mouth. She's the one that the editing team are trying hard to make appear like she's changed - has she bollocks. That other woman with the weird face - can't remember her name; that's how much she does. Then there is Alex, who is just a huge tit who stands around moaning about how badly people do. They're all laughable. How is it that every single week one team always does badly? Why is it that the winning team are congratulated, then the losing team is torn to bits? Even if the winning team wins by just a fraction, suddenly Alan Sugar calls everyone on the losing team a shambles. In fairness, both of the teams probably do shit, just one is worse than the other.

N-Europe Needs You! Worst GameCube Games
Sheikah replied to NotAshley's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Sonic DX was undoubtedly one of the biggest piles of garbage on the cube. God, god awful voice acting, gameplay, level design, graphics - the lot. Compared to Sonic Battle Adventure 2, it was as if someone had just thrown up and served it inside a game case. Definitely the very worse the GC had to offer. -
I think the idea is to not care about achievements with this game. It's so big and feels separate to the rest of the 360 games.
-
Trust me, I'll help you guys. :P I have an old character who has quite a bit of gil - as well as that I know a linkshell full of friendly people. Considering you can get the basic FFXI game on its own now for £5 (PC, probs 10 quid Xbox) it's not big loss if you don't like it. £5 to try the game out for a month isn't half bad, and it can be quite fun at times. As far as the game goes, it's not as easy as games like WoW, but at the same time it feels as if the players around you are more mature and the game doesn't feel over saturated with people. It's not particularly difficult to get into, I don't think.

Well according to a quick google it seems to run brilliantly through bootcamp: "I installed it on my soontobewifes macbook pro, used Bootcamp, runs like a pro, in some cases it out performs our normal PC's....." Source: link, other googling gives similar results. Just grab a copy of XP (easily done) and download bootcamp. You have no excuse! Join the faction!

This June I'm starting Final Fantasy XI again with a couple of friends in real life as well as a couple off the net, and basically I'm wondering if anyone else would like to start too! From June 2nd I, like many people, will have a lot of time and FFXI - having previously played it somewhat, definitely can fill some time. It can be bought for less than a fiver for PC with a month free, and a little more for Xbox, with all players from each system able to be in the same world (not separated). FFXI has a lot of the usual MMORPG affairs, as well as some nice extras. There's quite a selection of jobs, chocobo riding in fields as well as chocobo racing, airships, missions, events etc. Overall, if you like RPGs and have a fair bit of time to spare, you may enjoy this. If not, at least you tried. So around June - anyone who wants to play come and join! The more people we have starting around the same time, the easier it will be for us to form a party, as partying is much more essential in FFXI than other games. Anyone up for it?

It's funny, because you listen to the cheesy people attempting to sing in English, and let's face it, it's absolutely atrocious. Music day-in, day-out is better than that in our country, as was our UK entry, yet the silly bastards in the east of Europe continuously vote for each other. Listening to the same airhead score announcers is really trying as well - at times it's difficult to believe the UK is part of Europe. It doesn't even make sense...why can't the Eastern countries take it less seriously and relax on who they vote for? For some people there it feels as if a bad Eurovision would mean they'd be shot afterwards.

Zoro is generic? Get out... Voices make One Piece so much better, they really do. A lot of humour is put into the execution of speech, particularly with Luffy.

Mario Kart 64 Vs. Crash Team Racing
Sheikah replied to Kirkatronics's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I would have to say CTR - Mario Kart 64 was probably the worst MK in the series, to be honest. It seemed to be lacking wow at the time for me...the music, visuals, overall racing - all the more recent versions seem to have injected a breath of life into it that wasn't present for me before. CTR though - loved it, loved it loved it. Bloody great game. -

It won't work because the target market for Pokemon is little kids, who have parents that don't want them playing this kind of game and talking to strangers. That's why Nintendo market Pokemon at kids mostly, since they are after all the biggest audience. There's a million better games that could be made into MMO's than pokemon, though. Even though it's not Nintendo, imagine Final Fantasy VII/VIII/IX with online mode so that you could somehow be on the same screen / be able to split up, and have other people play with you in battle online, going through the story. Would need adaptation, but would be far more immense than another "oh mah god, choose a starter pokemon, smite some lame bad guys that peculariarly, don't snap your neck and instead 'submit' after you defeat them in battle, then fight four people and win with pokemon you trained in a few hours, while they claim to have trained for life." I've really grown tired of Pokemon. =/

Funnily enough that advert was on at one point while the Birdseye ones were too. The birdseye advert was saying that unless fish was instantly frozen the moment it was caught, it began to lose freshness compared to fish that weren't frozen. Then the Morrissons advert prided themselves for never freezing their fish. The tools.

Gamespot have become less and less intelligent if you ask me. When the purpose of a website is to provide accurate, 'general feeling of the public' reviews so that people can make a judgement on whether to purchase a game, they should review things properly. By this, I mean not giving games like Halo 3 a 9.5, which is essentially a reused game format. And particularly worse, giving a game that's clearly rather good a rubbish score. It's just rather irritating because I seriously think Gamespot must receive payments to give games good scores. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I for the life of me cannot grasp, and never will grasp, why Halo 3 got anything above an 8.

I hate the Tesco adverts, because they hire people who have probably never shopped at Tesco in their life. Or at least, never since they acquired their wealth. But even worse is Carol Vorderman. She is a disgusting sell-out who should not be allowed on television for appearing as some sort of 'intelligent face' for adverts that will only get people into more debt.

Wow...what an utterly rubbish assessment.
