The main flaw to this argument, however, is that now is not then. While fighting in the WWs was definitely seen as honourable, a lot do not think the same of the Iraq war.

If you noticed, I was quoting the in-game friend list comment, not downloadable GTAIV content. The in-game friend list coming is almost a dead-cert. To be honest, the downloadable content is the elven horse armour fiasco all over again.

I think it's obviously only a matter of time until that appears in PSN, and to be honest a visible list of names isn't really worth £40 a year.

Not really, as it depends on how you define superior. You could say that downloadable extra content (which is usually a load of crap to be honest, from experience) makes a version superior; but then again you don't get it with the game and you probably have to pay for it. Or you could say that a version with free online and a single disc is superior.

Only just saw this post. Saw some things clearly wrong with it. I hate this response. It's commonly used when people try to justify why it's OK to do something dangerous. You could die crossing the street if you're a wanker not watching the road. Oh right, two wrongs make a right then. I would much, much, rather visit these places in a year out after university than under the control of the army/navy. Besides, you say you visit those places but clearly it's been as part of your job. The feel of a holiday and work are quite different. But this is a rubbish excuse, because people know themselves and know if they're susceptible to depression or not. More likely, the connection is that people who apply for the army are less likely to commit suicide to begin with, not that joining the army somehow makes them less likely to kill themself. Also, suicide may be lower, death by being shot certainly isn't. Well, my advice is study hard, get paid well and not be killed in the process.

I view the army with disgust to be honest. The only people that I've ever really seen to be enthusiastic about going into it were all scrotty little chavs with probably no other credible career avenue to go down. The adverts for the army are truly lol-worthy. Trying to get people to sign up by using flashy guns, or the option of using a 360 controller to contol equipment. Or the reassurance to the thick people that you can just 'flick it off and on again' if the solution to a problem is too hard. They may well be protecting us, but really they're just dogs of the military (got to love FMA). Just get a degree and you'll get a job with probably better pay quicker than in the army, and you won't have to shave your hair so you look like some chav tosser either.

It depends...for some people, gaming is regular and rather obsessive (think MMORPGs). For those people, video games are definitely not good for them. For many though, people can enjoy games while managing other things. And often, games are played with real friends in sort of 'social environments'. -
I never really bother with battle mode...karts seem like really awkward devices to use to go around 'attacking' people with. Racing is where it's at.

XD, so true. I never get why they give such winner-deciding items like the lightning bolt to idiots (no offense to those in 12th, really) who will never come in the top 4 and really need not influence the winning few.

You posted a list of animes and said it was fact that they were the best animes of all time...then when people said your opinion can't be fact you threw up a huff. But I have to say it was quite funny that someone literally believed they could tell people what to think.

Don't even bother. Oxigen_Waste operates on one wavelength, which means forcing people to accept his opinion. He once listed his favourite animes, and said it was fact they they were the best animes of all time in a particular order.

It's been a while since I've been here. Over the past couple of months I have to say that Pit is a character I've grown to like quite a lot. I like his moveset, even if his Final Smash is pretty dire. Pikachu seems even better to me now, for some reason. Gotta love the Pika.

I don't love Nintendo; I quite like them though. To do with games there are few things I would go as far to say I "love". Final Fantasy VIII is one of them though. :awesome:

Went out and bought the (out so far) 16 Volumes of the FMA manga. Fantastic, every lover of the anime should plunge for it.

Knew that it would be Aaron as her son in the future the second Claire offered Kate a hold of him. That was probably the best episode of the series so far, since it didn't just throw more silly questions at you. The trial was good since you could actually comprehend what was happening and why. Apart from the Aaron part of course...but that just filled me with joy at the thought of Claire's likely annihilation. R0x.
