I'm not sure that I follow that statement. PS4 undoubtedly has more games coming since it has third parry support, so to many that will mean they'll get more for their money / it'll be a better investment. Particularly when you consider it's priced very reasonably already, so delaying purchase isn't likely to lead to great savings down the line. I'm not sure why the 'now' is the most important - you normally buy a console to last you several years. Given the Wii U release schedule is patchy now and they have lost third party support, it definitely feels to me like a worse investment. Obviously to someone who never tires of Nintendo games then a Wii U is a good purchase regardless.

Ah, sorry, I wasn't implying that. What I meant was the poor GBA VC results in more people just getting flashcards for the 3DS that already play all the GBA roms.

Something on Dragon's Den the other day totally hit the nail on the head about this. From what I can remember, one of the dragons remarked how separate fitness devices that didn't hook up to smart phones/tablets were dead (now, as opposed to then). Now people want smart connectivity as phones are generally the centre of their attentions and something most people carry with them at all times anyway.

And thus, piracy flourishes.

That trailer though, I can't imagine what X will be like without someone shouting 'it's Reyn time' while in battle with glorious music in the background. Character made Xenoblade for me, so at the moment the unfleshed out trailer is looking a little generic. Can't wait to see them make it something special though. I'm also not a fan of the mech/robots in battle. It's all about characters being powerful for me...

The original Dungeon Keeper PC game is free to download on GOG. Much better than the half baked microtransaction abomination released on tablets recently.

Speaking of good series there's also Monster, if anyone else hasn't seen it. Easily one of the best shows out there.

Add a hardcore endgame dungeon. Something that actually gives purpose to those 6 bottled fairies, 20 heart containers. In fact that should really be a standard for all Zelda games.

Yeah I found it a funny thing to say, considering the Wii to Wii U transition. To be fair, Sony have done well with all their consoles (eventually), which is pretty impressive. With regards to TVs, I've always seen Panasonic and Sony as a league ahead of the cheaper competition. And I think people paying more for those TVs know that.

I would love to see Majora's Mask, on the Wii U. That could be really special.

If you're looking for more games O_W then get Terraria. It's perfect for the device really. I won't rest until I get more people playing this online!

I said it could be cheaper. It's not black and white like you are suggesting. You are taking a very simplified approach to come to your conclusion. To put it in simpler terms - if a car was cheaper to initially buy than another but had more costly fuel, while the other car also got some fuel topups for free, would you tout the first car as 'cheaper'? Maybe if you don't travel much, you would. Maybe if you travelled lots, you wouldn't.
