'Fuck you Square Enix', really? You know Lightning Returns is the third part in a series and bound to lose fans along the way. I'm glad RPGs are getting recognition but having fully completed Bravely Default myself, the whole thing left me with a bitter taste. Yeah, that thing. There's so much they need to address in the sequel before I will even consider buying it.

But he has the other console where those games came out first/earlier on. Which basically comes back to my original point - so you like that kind of game, but you didn't get it when it was on the original console (and much cheaper). I was wondering why people ignore the content on other consoles, but check it out on Wii U, then comment they have more titles on Wii U and its library is more to their tastes. (I totally get that you don't get Nintendo's own games on other consoles. I'm just talking about third party/other console games of similar genres).

The main sticking point for me about the comment was that there are likely games similar to those people are buying on Wii U if they have 20 games on the system (since they can't all be Nintendo's own games), but games they don't have. Once I know someone's interests I reckon I could find them several games they'd like on the other consoles that they haven't bought. I don't think it's a case of 'that console doesn't have games of the type I like' since there is such a large range of games on those systems. They just have to check them out.

The thing is, online can bring in sales to pay for those man hours needed to put in online features. Phantasy Star Online on gamecube - how many bought that to play with friends? Or saw a friend playing it and bought it to play with them too with their own personal character? You play locally and that's one game sold for up to four people to play, with a tiny section of screen each. You have multiplayer and your friends might buy it to play online with you each with a nice big screen. Several game sales.

If the general gameplay is easy and diluted down, why bother? It's a shame that they're not creating much from scratch these days.

I hated the demo but liked the game. The demo put me off so much that I only picked it up by chance when it went below £10.

Was just thinking about some newbie tips that could help you, actually. Don't hit NPCs. If it's anything like the last game, they will attack you for the remainder of that playthrough. Walk down narrow passageways with your shield raised. Look out for pressure traps. Red and black characters are invading player phantoms. Yes, they're trying to murder you. Run from the dragon, at least until you're stronger. If you've a heart of gold, don't let them take it from you.

Anyone who hasn't got this already, there's an Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus twin pack for £1.91 (with Plus discount). That's a crazy price for these two gems.

Google Docs is surprisingly robust/good for an office-like experience, although yeah; Photoshop is a no. But I don't think you wanted to do that anyway. One of the better things about the Chromebook in the link is the 16GB flash (effectively SSD speeds). It makes booting up/general operation pretty seamless.

This HP Chromebook seems pretty well reviewed on Amazon and is £217 delivered. I've seen cheaper ones but not as well reviewed.

You do know a lot of titles with online multiplayer on other consoles let you play locally too? Borderlands 2 is a great example. So in reality their games would be just as delayed as those. You shouldn't try to make excuses for them not to better themselves. Yeah, I think the biggest gripe I had with the Wii servers shutting down already is that it's not only soon, but the new console isn't taking while the old console was/still is for some games extraordinarily popular. I'm also left thinking that PlayStation Now might mean we see PS3 servers staying up, and also you've got to consider the future. With the PS4, everyone is paying to play online. So in many respects, shutting down PS4 servers when the time comes may not happen for a while, since keeping them up may be profitable for longer. I'm also not sure whether they'd go for a more integrated approach where there aren't specifically separate servers for each game. That seems like a good way to go if it's possible.

Looking at it, it should fit actually. It's just the game in a tin case with the OST disc and an iPhone 5 case. I wish it came with some armour. :p
