Not sure if we're PS4 friends but if anyone sees me on and wants to jump into a game feel free! Can't promise I'm particularly good despite my level though...

  3. Anyone know if the best/cheapest drive to get for replacing the PS4's is an external Seagate 2GB, and if so which one? Don't mind if the caddy's crap, can afford to break it for the space. Cba with all this deleting stuff to install new stuff atm. Amazed I filled the 500GB so fast.

  5. The most sensible shout! My phone's just been such an arse lately plus it's almost out of space that I was thinking to not bother unless I knew it was going to work(rather than clearing stuff then not having needed to). Guess I'll give it a go a bit later!

  7. I haven't weighed in on this topic, and I missed the boat a bit, but it felt weird after the referendum seeing stories of increased hate-crimes/incidents being reported. Being brown in SE london(an area I recently read is like 3/4s white british) I experienced racism growing up. The picture's changed a lot here though I think, and we aren't the only brown family in the street anymore from what I personally see. I go to pubs quite often(admittedly avoiding weekends usually) - I haven't had any beef on my colour for very many years, and it was almost surreal seeing the news of all these incidents. It threw me back, despite the fact I had't experienced any myself, but I went back to a waryness I haven't had for so long. I don't think I've had anything notably racist(small shouts from a distance not counted, more direct confrontation of sorts) for the last 5-6 years. Maybe there's a few I forget in there but they've not been enough to stick out in my mind. Yet seeing all the news - I got back to the worried state of waryness again. It's horrible. I went to a pub I don't go to often 2 weeks ago - and it's the first time in a while I've walked in thinking if I should be worried or on my guard. I understand it could/would be argued this is all on me and in my head - but it's still surreal a feeling to go back to(and it's dissipated a bit more since). Tbh my issue isn't really with people taking issue with me, but it's more the people around me/who are with me. I'm used to it, in a sense, but I don't like my friends having to see it. Aaaanyway - moving on from that a bit. I posted this on facebook a while back. I don't know Akala much but this video got shared by a friend post-EU referendum and I found it very interesting(it's from post 2015 election). Recommend it to lots of people. He somewhat essentially highlights the difference between individuals and systems causing racism, which is a point often lost on some who don't understand it fully due to not having to see it personally. It's a difficult point to get across to someone who hasn't had to worry or see it too much, I think. I also found it enlightening for myself, too.

Gaah! Bloody bank holidays! I can't work my normal job and I don't get paid, so sometimes I look for a bit of top up work(cos I get a good rate being a BH) - however if folks want to them I'm down with looking for an early shift(might not even get anything anyway) and would be happy to in the afternoon. As I said I'm still rusty and not good enough for HM, but I think I remember the basics. Obvs if there's enough interest from others to make your 6 without me go with that as it'll be much less hassle for you guys.

  11. Has that ever happened though? Whilst a technical possibility I just can't see the chances of it happening being very high. I know it's not the right way, but a lot of people vote depending on the party's leader, and if that party leader happens to be your MP, aren't you already likely to be in an area heavily in favour of them? I think this is in line with the above point but...wat?? I didn't fully understand what you're saying(jumbling of the englishes, I think).

  13. Is there any easy way to know whether this will be compatible with a device or not? My android model/OS isn't listed in my playstore(probs due to being a cyanogenmod) but it's an S3 mini running cyanogenmod/android 4.4.2 or something.

I'm probably still shit at the raids but I'd do a normal if you were doing that(won't do HM tho) and needed the number. They upped rewards on both, didn't they? I haven't really played since before then...

  17. Wouldn't fairly call that an itinerary per so - Zell's was a bit impromptu for the Friday and it all just sort of came together. Bit worried about us all putting the focus and pressure on Zell, here! Saturday is always sitting in Hyde Park near the area known as The Cock Pit. I'm suddenly wondering if there was any intentional choosing of this area well back in the day. I don't know if we currently have a rainy day contingent for the Saturday - but previously I've personally invoked a trip to The Red Lion near Oxford Circus(is a Sam Smiths) and would suggest the same this year as a fallback contingent in absence of any other option. The year we did not have a rainy day contingent was, imo, quite disjointed and we all sort of split off in different ways going different places so I'd be keen to avoid that again, personally. Despite that - I've never regretted a meet. Honestly one of the biggest highlights of my year, every single year. Come along, King_V! You're so close it's almost rude not to!

  19. Yeah I did that for a while but I already generally facebook via chrome and got annoyed of it not being the mobile version. I've tried clearing the data on both the facebook and messenger app and signed in again and turned of notfications for both in the app menu and gonna see how that goes for a bit. The phone hasn't restarted as such, but has turned itself off twice. Does still seem linked to messages somehow, but I can't pinpoint the exact nature.

  21. Thanks guys. I was thinking sub-£100 but then I guess I end up in a bit of a false economy getting a newer phone every here and there that it'd add up. I think I'm gonna go for a reset on this bad boy first for a bit, then if it's still giving me issues I'll buy a new one/start purposefully saving in the interim. I'm pretty sure something to do with facebook's fucking gay forced messenger app is linked to it(you can essentially DDoS me by messaging me on facebook...but not all the time!? No consistency, which is tres annoying!). Will look into these Xioami's you mention and also consider the OnePlus, especially as I'm already fairly keen on Cyanogen.

  23. So my £60(inc unlocking fee as it needed UART or something) secondhand S3 mini seems to be having some issues where it's enjoying a restart a few times a day. I might 'final solution' restore it to default cyanogenmod settings(got it on there after having it unlocked) and maybe update the ROM, but also contemplating just chucking some bunce at a new phone instead. Would recommendations now still be a Moto G, or equivalent, or has it been surpassed by anything else? Don't mind the less familiar brands if they're known reliable etc.

  25. Tbh I'm not sure I'd trust Nintendo(especially with your quoted expressed views of Miyamoto) to support VR well at all, given how poor a job I feel they did in supporting their own promised asymmetrical gaming experiences on a console they built themselves from the ground up. Still not feeling like much beyond Nintendoland really did as much as was promised for the system(and poss ZombiU, but that wasn't for me at the time). Also agree that one must lead from the front. Otherwise maybe I'll just get into the CD-R market, they're this great new thing where you can write to CDs yourselves(previously not an option!!) and can typically hold up to 700MB and have sold really well so far!! Definite winner. EDIT: Finished reading the whole thing. Don't normally read this - are they usually so...grilling? I'm sure I've seen one or two before but not felt them to be nailing some of the issues so well. Are the responses also usually so weak? Lots of 'thinking about' 'considering' etcetc. Only a couple hard/solid answers - one of which was actually probably Miyamoto in response to the video aspect(though the question was let down by it being framed in a 'movie' context anyhow). Also can't help but notice it all seems to focus ongoing-ly on Nintendo self-supporting mostly, with yet again no ideas or plans of third party - especially when considering how to generate more cost-effective income etc.
