I don't think in going to renew my ps plus subscription this year. I haven't played an online game since Battlefront, and I'm maybe interested in one or two of the free games - would be cheaper to just buy them in a sale.

It is hilarious that May is going over there to beg the EU to re-open the Withdrawal Agreement, which they have already said isn't going to happen. To make it funnier, I've heard that Spain and a couple of other countries want to revisit the Gibraltar and fishing quota issues if it does get reopened. May could come back with less than she went with!

How/where do you use the green lunchbox things? The support boxes that say stuff like "no items" on them? I must have about a thousand of them now, but haven't seen an option to apply them to anything? Also, why does your character sparkle during a match? I don't mean when they get a full Smash meter, but before that, they sparkle and I don't know what it means.

I started to have exactly the same feelings towards Yakuza 0 as you (plus I wasn't really feeling the combat either), but your write-up really makes me want to go and finish the story at some point.

I played 2 player tabletop mode Smash with my cousin at Christmas, and it worked really well. Not sure I'd want to play for very long like that, but that's a different matter.

Again with the assumptions. People just assume there'll be a January Direct, just because. People assume Nintendo will suddenly care about the arms race and again and release a super powerful Switch. It's counter productive.

What actually happens when a game goes on sale? Does anyone actually know the breakdown? If the PSN store has a sale on your game, do you have a say in it? Because you might have agreed to sell your game at £15 assuming you get £3 of it. If the game is suddenly 50% off, are the store obligated to do give you £3, or do you only get half? I have no idea how this works, but usually if a shop runs a sale, it's only their profit margin that gets eaten into - the manufacturer gets paid the same.

If there is a general election, would be really interesting if party lines went out the window, and everyone just voted single issue about Brexit. Otherwise, what's the point of a GE right now. If the Tories get in, nothing changes. If Labour get in, nothing really changes either.

So I got this for my birthday, and finally got a chance to play it last night. Wow. I thought people might have been overreacting about the graphics, or at least that they might have been patched out by now. They are pretty ropey - especially in cut scenes. Right at the beginning, when Rico falls and ends up in that puddle? For me the water didn't render, so he was just standing in a hollow, but the floor and plants were kind of rippling around his feet? Bizarre. Everything else so far is classic Just Cause though. Crap voice acting. B movie scripts. Explosions everywhere (when I was walking into the main rebel town at the beginning of the game, a plane randomly falls out of the sky and explodes in the road in front of me). Love it.

Hopefully, something is going to happen tonight, for better or worse! Grab the popcorn!
