Decided I'd at least try and complete one of the last free games I got - Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry, before I lose the ability to do so. Remembered all the reasons why I stopped. The game has crashed three times in one hour, and some of the AI is such bullshit. I don't know how this uses the same game engine as Black Flag - I don't remember nearly as many issues with that game!

Apparently you don't need ps-plus in order to play this. Just a PSA in case anyone else didn't realise that you don't need a subscription in order to play free-to-play games.

I've just got Smash in my backlog (is it really a backlog? More like just my 'log'). Then I've got Yakuza 0 and Just Cause 4 to play on PS4. I guess Yakuza is my log, and JC4 is my backlog.

Yeah, Diablo 3 is a really chilled co-op game you could play with your significant other!

Interestingly, there's nothing stopping you from voting for a game you never intend to play. It's a fun way of ensuring that@nekunando has to play Wario Land against his will.

Ooh, this is the first time I could actually join in with this! Two games that I own but never finished, and one that I don't. I'll vote for Game #1!

I fired this up as well over the weekend. I had originally stopped playing as I had grown a bit bored of it, but after reading HoT's post about it, I had an urge to play again. I bumped the difficulty down to easy, and just decided to focus on the story. The minigames and side plots are fun, but incredibly..... slow. I figured I'd play the main game and then go back and play some of the other bits if I still wanted to. Anyway, the story is really good. There's a bit between chapters 6 and 7 where there is a good 20 mins of cut scenes, which of course is when my wife comes and joins me on the sofa. "Why are you watching a poorly animated Japanese soap opera?"

You can't say the base game is incomplete and then the special editions have a load of unwanted tat...

Also it would basically just be the north american market that would buy such a game.

Saw an article on Facebook where they speculated a Zelda sequel based on a "3D terrain" job posting, to be released this year. Probably bollocks though.

I absolutely agree that it made sense for them to make a hybrid, but given that they presumably will only make a single device, how many of them would they need to sell in order to validate the decision? If they outsell the PS4, that's great, but how many home console + handhelds would they have sold had they continued down the separate devices route? Obviously it's hard to say, as we don't fully know how the mobile market would affect the handheld today, but even if both Home Console and Handheld underperformed, mightn't they have hit more than 32 million together? Who knows!

I'd be interested in a good puzzle game. Consider my interest piqued.

I can't think of a single person who would be unhappy with those sales figures. Nope. Not a single person. Nobody.

I don't think in going to renew my ps plus subscription this year. I haven't played an online game since Battlefront, and I'm maybe interested in one or two of the free games - would be cheaper to just buy them in a sale.

What forecast is this? 20 millions units for when? 2019?

It is hilarious that May is going over there to beg the EU to re-open the Withdrawal Agreement, which they have already said isn't going to happen. To make it funnier, I've heard that Spain and a couple of other countries want to revisit the Gibraltar and fishing quota issues if it does get reopened. May could come back with less than she went with!
