Well not technically taking the day off from work, since i don't have a proper job, but i'm skiving from writing my thesis for the day... Don't know if anyone else reads/has read Wheel of Time, but the final book (14th) comes out tomorrow, and i've reserved my copy at Waterstones. Going to go in at 9 o clock and pick it up and bring it home. Taking the day off work to read it.... So....fucking......excited. It feels like Christmas Eve!

The Galaxy Ace is not the best though. I don't know how it compares to the Desire S, but my gf found it a bit slow and it has a terribly small amount of memory on it, which means you can't have many apps running on it.

I use imperial to measure height and weight. Probably because my parents used it i suppose. I think a lot of people do, more than you'd think anyway. I'm 6'3 and around 15 stone. Not weighed myself in about 6 months though, so who knows.

If people kept all their 'mind changes' to their original posts, one could lock the thread and simply go through tallying all the votes for each award. Anyway, i don't really mind how it is done, i just think you might get more votes if you keep it in one thread. Either way is fine by me though!

Just played this last night after getting it for Christmas (i was elsewhere without my xbox until now). It seems pretty amazing so far. I've done the first couple of missions, and i'm enjoying it so far, although i almost failed the first outpost one as i ran out of ammo and had to kill the last guy with a knife. Then on my way back i stumbled across a house which was overrun with Komodo dragons, so i got out to kill them all (it's really quite scary when you can still hear one, but can't see it) and then was ambushed by a passing jeep full of pirates. Molotov'd their jeep and murdered them all! Mwhahahaha!!! Cool game!

Personally, i think it would be better (and easier to interact with) if we just had one thread, and people can copy and paste the awards and fill in their answers. (Or even have polls?, or are they banned?)

I misread the title/forgot what year it was and came into this thread thinking it would be about new releases. Bit disappointed i have to say... Anywho, here is a list of films i thought were good/enjoyed: Dredd 3d Looper The Hobbit Life of Pi Avengers Dark Knight Rises Skyfall Hunger Games Men in Black 3 Chronicle 21 Jump Street Rock of Ages Expendables 2 And here is a list of ones that weren't/I didn't like: Journey 2: The mysterious Island This Means War Dark Shadows Snow White and the Huntsman Prometheus Brave Amazing Spider-man The Campaign Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger Obviously there is a gradient between the two, but generally speaking that's the split. bob award for the film which has nothing to do whatsoever with the title: Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger - seriously, what the hell? This title was literally just because Manger and Danger rhyme. There was very little danger in this film, and barely any mangers. The two did not coincide once. Best surprise: Dredd 3D - Best use of 3D this year (i didn't see Hobbit in 3D) and very pretty. Totally was not expecting such a good film. Unexplained character actions in film: Could this go to any other film? No, because i made up the award for Prometheus. What the hell were all the people in this film doing? Nothing any of them did at any point made any sense other than to make something cool happen in the film. Best song: With the Skyfaaaaaaaalll! Bake a crumbleeeeeee! When you stumbleeeeee! etc. Grew on me, even though i dislike Adele. Most hilarious moment in a film: The drug scene in 21 Jump Street. I can't remember laughing as much at a film this year.
