  1. Well a lion pride can often spend a whole day lying around a kill protecting it and eating it slowly. The flaw of course lies in that one lion probably wouldn't eat half an entire zebra, but then the crux of the riddle is lost. Anyway, we successfully proved that he isn't human, so mission accomplished. :p
  2. Bravo! Well done.
  3. Ah, i thought it might be something like that. Never mind then. I'll just set all my clocks and watches in my life to an hour ahead.
  4. Does anyone know how to change the clock on the website? It appears to be set so that it says all my games are at 13:30...took me a while before i realised they were actually at 12:30.
  5. This thread got derailed by Zelda pretty quickly.
  6. Unfortunately it seems that Michael H cannot pass the riddle needed to enter the Kingdom of N-Europe and prove he is not a robot. Admittedly neither Ashley nor Moogle got it right.....but never mind. The answer was of course, a lion eating a zebra.
  7. Maybe they are banking on someone inventing some new form of transport by 2020, like a teleporter.
  8. I'm considering doing this. Can't be arsed to wait for Orange to sort themselves out. Do Orange even exist anymore? EE? Fuck it.
  9. Yeah i think i prefer it to Chrome when on my phone, at least for just quickly checking/thanking posts and firing off quick replies. Not sure yet if it's worth £1.99, as i only use one forum, but i suppose it's not too bad.
  10. I know this isn't about Euro 2020, or indeed the Europa League happening right now, but i think it's amazing:
  11. Who is that and what is his hand doing to make you make that face?
  12. Thanks! I'll try it out now! Aha! It seems to work much better now, as in it actually loads new posts and finds all the forums. Brilliant.
  13. Actually we have someone downstairs doing some sort of gait analysis that seems to involve walking in time to a (very loud) beat. Basically means having the same 20 second clips music played on repeat. Never bothered me when i had headphones. Bothers me now.
  14. I very much doubt this to be the case....
  15. I'm sure you'll add more than £10k in value. People can't be arsed to do that sort of stuff themselves, and so will pay more than that to have had it done already.
  16. I'm definately a rural person. i've never lived in a proper city-type place. (Well that's not quite true, i've lived in Gaberone and Castries, but they're hardly bustling). The closest i've come to a city since coming to the UK is Leamington, which is tiny. You can walk from one end to the other, but that's why i like it. It has shops and restaurants galore, but you don't need a car to live here. Perfect size i think. I would hate to live in London or somewhere large like that. i'm happy to visit every so often, but i couldn't put up with the crowds and traffic etc. Even Leamington seems crowded when i go back to Wales.
  17. I've never really seen the point of predictions for draws. By all means post what you would like to see, but predicting the draw itself? Might as well put all the teams into a velvet bag and pull them ou.....oh. I'd quite like to see Man U vs PSG, and Dortmund vs Barcelona. Celtic and Arsenal i'd just like to get easy opponents to see them get further than they would otherwise.
  18. There is no benefit, although it is slightly easier to read posts through the app. Currently there are loads of features missing, and i wondered if it was because the plug-in was old. If it does get updated, i'll let you know if there's any benefits!
  19. Sorry to bump this (actually, i'm not sorry at all! hahahaha!) but is there any chance you could update the Tapatalk plug-in for the site? When i try and log-in it says that the plugin is an older version, and because of that i'm experiencing loads of problems. The plugin is available here. Hopefully it should be quite easy to do, @Ashley?
  20. Ah, thanks, that is too fucking awesome. Shit.
  21. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, has anyone tried the Swiftkey Flow Beta? It's fucking incredible! The only problem i've had is it won't let me predict swear words, i have to put them in myself....but other than that, it's amazing!

    Youtube

My most watched video is one of my friend spanking another friend. Disturbing.
  23. I forgot my headphones and now i have to spend the day at work in complete silence.....
  24. I joined over 10 years ago, and mainly lurked - at first enjoying all the Nintendo stuff, but then migrating into the Chit-Chat board and then pretty much staying there for a few years. I didn't post much, as i generally felt intimidated by larger individuals. Then i went to Uni, and stopped posting. Mostly i didn't have time, but also i thought that i was probably too old for that sort of thing and so i stopped logging on - only returning once i year every time i got that birthday email... Anywho, a year or two into my PhD, and i noticed i had a bit more time than i used to, to browse the internet, and my curiosity got the better of me, so i logged in again, and was quickly welcomed back. Which was nice. I was surprised by how many people did remember me. Once i realised that most of the regulars on here weren't little kids, and had actually grown up like i did and continued to post, i stopped worrying that i was too old, and dived right in. I no longer am inimidated by other users (as i know that i'm better), so i post a lot more. With regards to Jimbob's post about acting irl, i act on here like i act with people i only know very well in real life. So i suppose that's a compliment. EDIT: @Iun. That feeling runs both ways.

    Youtube

Does anyone know roughly how many views you need to get in order to get moneys? I tend to just use Youtube as a way to watch other people's videos. I have a few vids on my account, but usually it's just as a way to share them with people i know, rather than to a wider audience.
