Apparently at a wedding you're supposed to mix people up to get them chatting and meeting new people, but why would you want to split people up who already know each other and are going to have a fun time together? Never really made sense. Weddings don't make sense.

The womens tournament has been strange.....Sharapova gets to the semis whilst only dropping about 5 games, only to go out in straight sets to Li Na? How are they all so inconsistent?! Maybe it is the 3 set system. Perhaps if they played 5 sets, there would be less upsets. Quite a few times Nadal/Djokovic/Federer have been two sets down and then come back to win it...

Actually i think the presence of Gervais might improve the film. I think his style may work really well with the Muppets. I wonder if Segal will be involved?

I think i know how you feel. I have 5 or 6 groups of friends, with whom i act slightly differently. Because of this, i can't do a supermegazord type meet up because i will then not know how to act and ebnd up alienating one group or another, or i'm not sure how they'll get on etc. Because they all live in different parts of the country, it's usually not a case of popping out to the pub to see them, and i usually have to plan a specific weekend to meet up with a certain group. And there definitely aren't enough weekends in the year. Bleargh, i've been neglecting some of them for sure, and i wish i didn't, but what can you do?

For any one who cares, that connection is apparently PATA/IDE, or at least the caddy i bought with that connection fits in my optical drive bay. Just waiting for the SSD now!

I like Gervais as a comedian, and i loved all his podcast stuff, but i didn't like the Office or Extras as they were too cringey. Not to say they weren't funny, I just couldn't watch them.

I was without my laptop for a few days, and the mobile Xperteleven site is so crap it's almost unusable (icouldn't work out how to challenge you). Then i got my password wrong and got locked out. Anyways, if you feel you were disadvantaged because of my tardiness, i will concede defeat and you can go through to the next round.

I was being serious, but not as catty as my comment reads. It is 'see the wood/forest for the trees' as in, can't see the bigger picture of the wood, because you are so busy looking at the smaller detail of the individual trees. I genuinely didn't know if you just didn't like the phrase, or it annoyed you that people were getting it wrong (a la 'could care less' phrase mentioned before). If people are seeing this as a joke however, it seems i don't even have to try and be funny anymore, and Funniest Member will be mine next year.
