  1. Ah, but which was the very first of those phones to use it?
  2. All I got was that Ralph Fiennes wife was an inanimate fucking object.
  3. Yeah, they should charge him 250 hours of work on whatever he gets paid per hour.
  4. Update! I think it's just locked to o2. Put in a spare giffgaff sim (with the sides trimmed off with a pair of scissors) and it works fine. We'll get it unlocked daaaaaahn the maaaaaaaaarket at the weekend
  5. Hmmmmm, this arrived today (very speedy delivery!) and i'm not sure... Looks-wise, it does exactly as advertised - no scratches or anything, it look completely brand new. Software wise, i have no idea. The fucking thing takes a smaller sim card that normal phones because fuck you, Apple say so, that's why. So i tried cutting up an old sim-card to try inside it, but it doesn't seem to work. I don't know anything about iphones, but it just says that it can't be 'activated' right now. Is this because the sim doesn't work? Or is it because the phone is locked to O2? Or is it because the phone is blocked (like Cube said)? Or is it because it has been jailbroken in the past? The website said that they fully test all the features before they sell it, so i would think it is not the jailbroken thing, or the blocked thing. I suppose we might have to see if we can get a microsim replacement for her current contract....or something. Then if it still doesn't work, we'll have to unlock it.
  6. Dan's brothers married each other? Hey i'm all for equal rights and everything, but that's weird.
  7. Does that say 'Honk' when he's pushing the boulder?
  8. Sorry i forgot about this, i believe @heroicjanitor was the most creative. So, a winnar is him.
  9. My fiances parents got this cake for our engagement party done. Incredibly it's got us wearing the exact same clothing we were wearing when i proposed. It's pretty awesome. Not sure why i'm sitting so camply though....must be the impression i give to my potential in-laws...
  10. I don't think UAE is a good idea, any sort of affection in public is a bit naughty, so you would have to be very careful the whole time - not something you want to do on your honeymoon. Kenya i can definitely recommend (or Tanzania/South Africa/Uganda). My dad currently lives there, and the holidays we've had in the past there are incredible (if you spend enough money). However, the rain issue may be a problem. You could try South Africa, as they are further south and won't have the same tropical rain problems perhaps? Look into it? Otherwise, Thailand is nice, but may have the same rain problems as Kenya that time of year. However, if you do go, you should try and go during their festival of Songkran, which is in April. Basically everybody roams the streets with water guns and buckets of water soaking everyone else. It was hilariously good fun when we went before. You could spend part of the holiday in Phuket, which as @nightwolf will tell you, is awesome. It seems you are blessed with too much choice rather than not enough! I wish i had the time and money to just go to anywhere in the world!
  11. Now i see why they call it your 'Solar Plexus'...
  12. I'm always open to new things, i'll have a listen to those tomorrow.
  13. No, you can't get rid of the memories, that would defeat the purpose. You have to remember what you are missing out on... *cackling*
  14. And just like that, i knew i was going to have to buy it. Seems ridiculous that you still can't play as a woman though.
  15. You'll be on Team Bob if and when i pick you to be. Now go and stand in line with the others.
  16. Is 13/14 not good? I thought anything over 10 was a good sign...
  17. Riiiiiiight....that sounds a bit dodgy, but my own googlings found roughly the same thing. Thanks! I managed to get an 'a' level of phone quality too, which means no scratches or anything, so fingers crossed!
  18. Haaaa! My run of failures against Leeds M.O.T has ended! For some reason they have been my bogey team for a while, so i was resigned to another loss. A commendable effort though @Lucas3693!
  19. I use Spotify, but mainly just to listen to film scores and stuff, i find it hard to listen to stuff with lyrics while i'm working - it puts me off. I realised the other day that for some reason i irrationally hate new bands....no idea why. If someone says 'oh yeah, have you heard this great new band, they're amazing', i will listen to it and go 'they're rubbish'. It's not until a few years later that i listen again and think, 'this is actually a good song'. Maybe i just want to feel cool, like how some people say they dislike popular things like Harry Potter etc without any good reason to. Anywho. Occasionally i will feel an emotional attachment to a song, but it's very rare, and it's normally because of some combination of notes rather than lyrics.
  20. Just bought a used iPhone 4 from smartfonestore.com for my fiance who always wanted an iphone but couldn't afford one. Personally i'd never heard of them, and it almost seems too good to be true, even for a used phone - it only cost £160. I suppose if it all goes tits up, i can always re-sell it on ebay for a small loss.
  21. I was thinking about this a while back and was compelled to make this thread after Flinks post in the 'me no understand' thread. If you had to give up one medium forever, which would it be? Are films a bit 'meh'? Do you not play games as much as you used to? Is music just noise to you? I thought about putting 'books' in the title as well, but i thought that most people would probably choose that (rather watch the film, right? It's shorter!), but feel free to choose it if you really want to. Personally i would rather give up listening to music, as i really spend little to no time in my life solely listening to music anyhow. I enjoy the odd song, but i think i've bought about 5 albums in the past 10 years and wouldn't really miss it if i had to give it up. Go! (P.S. if you decide to give up music, the music in films still remain, as they are fairly integral. I'm talking about buying albums, going to concerts etc)
  22. I'm a bit like this. If i had to give up one medium, it would probably be music, as i just don't care as much about it than others. That's not to say i don't enjoy the odd song, but i am pretty passive about the whole thing.

    Cube World

So it's kind of like Minecraft in that respect? (As well as looking like Minecraft...)
