Just waiting for it come in stock from Amazon UK then I think I’m gonna finally get my first omnibus. I’ve always stayed clear of them in the past as I tend to read lying in bed but with the Ultimate Spider-man omnibus getting a reprint that is one series I would love to have in the best possible version.

It doesn't make sense to get some characters back for their own show or a story arc but something like that would be amazing.

Hopefully it’s one of those things where they learn as we go through the gen what works and what doesn’t. It may be impressive but heavy use of something like this isn’t necessarily a good thing.

I haven’t played too many yet where it’s heavily used. I didn’t like it in whatever shooting game I tried as like you, firing a weapon felt really stiff. Thought it was good in the Spider-man games though, subtly used for the webswinging.

Would you say that’s because you don’t like the immersion or because it makes it harder sometimes as a trophy hunter?

How much does that cost?

Oddly enough I just started Pokémon Sword last night and the lack of text skipping had me worried in that opening scene. Was very glad when I got to the main game and I could. Not being able to skip text when there’s actual audio I’m fine with but having to watch a silent scene play out after I’ve already finished reading is just annoying.

Mines still Q2 2022 so we'll see when I get my email. I'm expecting around April to be honest.

Pokemon Sword just came up as an Amazon bundle deal so I've just ordered it. We'll see if I enjoy this one more (sorry @darksnowman I know you still wanted me to go with the Zeldas lol)

I don’t really have a cut off, just maybe games I don’t enjoy playing anymore. 2D I’m a lot more happy to go back and play as they tend to hold up, I love to pull out the original Mario Bros every now and again. 3D is definitely harder but the early generations of it being clunky or ugly. The N64 in particular is a hard one to go back to, to be even at the time it just felt like a blurry, ugly console. Not every 3D game can be Croc I guess…

Yeah unfortunately that was the only motorbike photo I had in my “naked men riding vehicles” collection so had to go with it.

Been wanting to update my old graphics tablet for quite a while now as I just don't have the space for the larger size. Looking forward to giving this a try.

Well I was wrong about this. In their infinite wisdom the school decided to allow the IT tech to have the morning off to go to a job interview (today being the first day the inspectors are in) so I get panicked phone calls to my personal number outside of work hours this morning and then complaints when I say I will try to fix the issue but can't guarantee I can because, despite what they think, I am not an IT technician and not all people who work in IT have the exact same skills and knowledge. If I had better savings I would have walked out this morning and finally quit this shitty job.
